LOTS of «unlimited» options on the salsa bar, a cheery Mexican décor, and great service from Jocelyn at the counter adds up to a Mexican Grill that can’t be beat be beat. The prices are VERY reasonable; I had the potato rolled tacos– YUM! And it’s open 24 hours! Yay! They even provide grilled onions at the salsa bar at no extra charge, so you can create a small feast!

this place is pretty good. fist experience was a hit bummer because they forgot to give me my flan. so I called them and they told me to go back the next day so I could get them. I also ordered adobada tacos. they’re pretty good as well. and their horchata, you can actually taste the rice(because it rice water) and not too much of cinnamon flavor but I guess that’s what makes their horchata unique. and their adobaba fries are pretty good it’s 4 out of 5 also. Their surf & turf are also 4⁄5. overall? this place is great.

Hello everyone. I visited AH-JIJO, since i live down the street i had been meaning to try it out and give it a chance. I chose to go through the drive through. I waited for about 20 minutes at the window after they charged me and the guy rung up more then five people. I was willing to forget about the long wait once the guy offered me anything for having to wait. I kindly declined and went on my way with my food… I ordered a California burrito with no salsa fresca and added sour cream(which was a .99 cent charge) My second order was an Adobada burrito… They got my order mixed up. The adobada burrito ended up getting sour-cream and beans and my California was given to me regular.

The food here is good, but when the worker named Sixto cooks the food becomes chingona. Next time you come eat at Ah-jijo make sure to ask for Sixto to make your food the other cooks don’t compare

Are you the kind of person that works late? Has a case of the midnight munchies, or is just looking for a good place to eat then look no further! I stumbled upon this place as I was driving to the usual place I go to for 24⁄7 Mexican food. Seeing that every 24 hour drive thru isn’t always guaranteed fresh or even tasty since sometimes the cooks get lazy, are tired and make mistakes, or the whole place is being run by one guy late at night… I was hoping to find something better. A place that had tasty consistent food, at all times of the day. Enter Ah Jiho! A very delicious alternative to your usual taco shop drive thru. Yes you can eat inside as well, the bathroom is very clean, and they have a salsa bar with 5 types of salsa to choose from!(I always get the Ranchera) Imagine delicious mexican food, set in a very clean, and professional environment. Where customer service is always important and the food is consistently delicious. I always order the Carne Asada(or Adobada) Fries and it has never been lackluster in the dozen times I’ve ordered it, from 11am all the way to 2am it always tastes the same, and that’s what makes this place stand out for me If you live in the area and it’s late at night and you are tired of having to take a gamble going to a 24⁄7 mexican joint that may or may not be good, try Ah Jiho! And you’ll see what I’m talking about. (Why not 5 stars? It’s a bit more pricey than other places and could be a little cheaper, but I’m not complaining, check this place out next time it’s late and you’re hungry)

2AM on a Monday night and craving Mexican food. I was craving the shrimp burrito from Super Oscar’s that I had drunkenly ate the night before because it was smack. However, we were sad to find out that by the time we drove to Oscar’s, it was closed. So we Unilocaled another Mexican food place that was open at the time and this place showed up. We decided to use the drive thru and ordered a half order of carne asada fries, a carne asada burrito, and a steak and egg breakfast burrito. I can only speak for the carne asada fries and burrito and it was pretty disappointing to say the least. The burrito didn’t come with any rice or sour cream. The food itself was mediocre, but the sauces were kind of disappointing as well. There was no spice to them and tasted watered down. The total came out to be $ 24 and it wasn’t worth it.

Tried a new restaurant in our neighborhood today. We were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Everytime we drive by, it looks empty, so we were not sure! It is definitely worth to visit again, and we will tell our friends too. I had the Surf and Turf Burrito, really liked it. My daughter had the Bacon Burrito. It had above average amount of bacon in it, which was good. Both were very full and firm, no juicy, dripping, messy burrito. The guacamole salsa is excellent.

This place is new and isn’t very welcomed by the neighborhood but is the BOMB!!! Seriously if you live in the neighborhood you need to go here because it may look very white and unauthentic but it is delicious!!! Try their salsa’s they are better than any other taco shop I’ve had. Please support this place because I do not want to lose this charm in my neighborhood.

Had a surf and turf with horchata. Nothing too spectacular, just another surf and turf burrito. They have a couple of sauces to pick from and I’m glad to see they had carrots and chili peppers at the sauce bar. Seems like a get quick-fix place for your burrito cravings. I will definitely try out their street tacos but yeah… Nothing too spectacular

Great customer service even for late at night. 1st time here and will be back. Had the Battered Fish Taco, Grilled Shrimp taco and the Potato Rolled Tacos. The Grilled Shrimp Taco was by far the best I’ve had from any taco shop, hands down. Not greasy, tasty, and just perfectly cooked shrimp. The Pico was not soupy so didn’t make the tortilla soggy. I honestly didn’t even add any hot sauce to it as it was already a perfect bite. Will have to try the shrimp burrito next time. The Battered Fish Taco likewise not greasy and for a fish taco from a taco shop you know that can very much occur. Same as the shrimp didn’t use any sauce or anything that was not on the taco already. Only reason I did not 5 star was because the Potato Rolled Tacos. There were OK but not amazing. I’ve had potato rolled tacos from other places and have enjoyed but these left me wanting a bit more. They have an amazing taco tuesday deal. Fish tacos only 1.50 compared to the normal 3.29 and the street tacos(carne asada, adobada, or carnitas) only 1.19 each! Good deals if you want to give them a shot and try this place out. So all in all well worth a visit to get some great food. Will be back again and especially to have the shrimp anything!

I like the vibes this place gives off, it just opened up too so anyone in the area should give them a try! The carne asada is fresh and tasty as well. 24 hours is a plus so I can come here after I get off work and prices are fair. There’s another Mexican place in the shopping area but I had a really bad experience there so this is the go to when I go to This shopping area.

Hands down the best nachos! Perfectly grilled carne asada, with a magical layer of cotija cheese on top! And the salsa bar is on point.

This place has pretty good carne Asada fries! I like how it’s 24⁄7 and from experience, the customer service is really good. The man who rang up my order was very nice and he even gave more than needed hot sauce when I asked. They also have a stamp card(that’s also a menu) where if you buy $ 9, you get a stamp and when you get 12 of those stamps you get a free $ 9 meal. This definitely intrigued me because the food is good so why not. Will definitely come back again.

I like it when Taco Tuesday comes around, and I like it even better when places participate in the event. At a $ 1.19 each, I ordered mini street tacos of al pastor, two of carne asada, and one regular fried fish taco at $ 1.50, simply because I wanted to try it. The street tacos were tasty, however they were not with their needs for improvement. For example, the carne asada tasted good, but unfortunately it was on the dry side and the amount they put on each taco was minimal as well. The guacamole was pretty good. It was very light in flavor with a small amount of seasoning. The chopped cilantro and onions were haphazardly places onto the tacos but effective. The al pastor tacos were a little better in that the pork had good flavor and was tender and juicier that the beef. These two tacos had the same guacamole, cilantro, and onions as the tacos above and with the same results, but these tacos were much better given the texture and moister level of the meat was more agreeable. Both variety of tacos came with the same corn tortillas and they were good. I like that they heated them on a hot griddle with a bit of oil to give them that moister appearance and slighter enhancement of the flavor of the corn in the tortilla. The fish taco was okay. The battered fish was over cooked, hence the white fish inside was dry. They need to keep and eye on these little fishies for better results. The sauce and topping that came with taco were all good. Service was very nice and the young lady at the register was very nice. Their tortilla chips are very good, crisp and hot when they arrive, but you have to pay extra for them.

This place is awesome. Very clean inside. Helpful and friendly service and the food is cooked to order and very flavorful. I had a burrito I designed myself and my wife had enchiladas and a hard taco. Everything was fresh and delicious. Good salsa bar also with carrots and jalapeños and also some fresh cooked warm peppers. I’ll be coming back!

Not satisfied that I ordered 4 roll tacos which cost $ 6 and there was no quality to it. There were barely any guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. It was mostly lettuce. Texture of tacos feels like it wasn’t fresh. There were no crunch to it. I can go elsewhere and pay $ 3 – 4 bucks and they put enough of everything! They got good carne asada fries and a good salsa bar however.

Went in today with my family since we heard about the grand opening and we were excited to try. It seemed to be mainly family and friends hanging out inside and talking. The music was super loud and there were little kids running all over and yelling which made it really hard to concentrate on reading the menu and ordering. The menu print could stand to have larger print. I was surprised to read that with the veggie burrito you can only have 4 ingredients, you have to pick from beans, rice, cheese, lettuce, salsa, sour cream and guacamole. Since when does a veggie burrito not come with all of that standard? When I asked about getting a side of guacamole I was told they only had the big servings, I couldn’t just add it to my burrito. The girl who took our order did come to the counter immediately to help us and was very friendly. The food was ok, nothing exceptional. The french fries that came with the kids meal and our carne asada fries were little mini fries and had an off putting taste to them, our 7 year old didn’t even like them. The carne asada fries had beans on them which was new to us and just didn’t have enough guac, cheese or sour cream(maybe because the puny fries can’t support them?). I was excited to see a mild avocado type salsa on the salsa bar but when we tried it it tasted more like bitter lime juice. My husband loved the California burrito he had so we do recommend that. Probably won’t be visiting again as the food didn’t warrant the prices, too many neighborhood taco shops to compete with.

Great food and service! Went there on Wednesday around lunch time with my sister and her kids. We all ordered something different and special requests on each thing. They got everything right without nasty attitudes. Will definitely be back cause the food was really good. Prices were great too!

Just opened! Specialty appears to be the achiote sauce which is delicious without being overly salty. The torta did not come with the customary slathering of avocado & beans but was generously filled. There was a surprising side of shoestring potatoes which were good dipped in the mild cilantro-based Chilanga sauce from their exceptional salsa bar. Enough to take home for another meal. Service is cheerful. Coffee wasn’t made so mine came from a fresh pot. They apologized for the wait but the coffee was delicious.

This place is good, on Saturday we went there and got shredded beef burritos and they were great. Then today Sunday we went there and there were different people working there who told us that we could not get shredded beef burritos. The cashier with the spider man tattoo on her left side of her neck gave us two different stories explaining why they could not make the burritos. The man in the back said he didn’t want make them. The cashier was not very respectful as well. Furthermore, they also added guacamole when we specifically said no guacamole.

I was very happy to be a guest here. Their staff was very welcoming, friendly and genuine. The salsa bar was awesome, I really hope the bad crowd around doesn’t ruin that and put a stop to it. I had the surf n turf wet and was happy, plenty of shrimp and carne and no bs fillers. I plan on coming here vs the yellow taco shop down the street.

So this place just opened and when I saw the menu I had high hopes. The rolled tacos I was able to order exactly how I wanted and paid for only what I wanted. The taste was not bad but I did not like how they were served. Four stacked two on the bottom and two on the top. The two on the bottom had no guacamole and cheese only the tacos on top and only on half. At least they tasted good. I wanted to get chips with only cheese, unfortunately the only way to do this is to get chips with cheese and guacamole. I asked for the guacamole on the side, and received a very small container of guacamole. I was a little disappointed. My husband ordered the California burrito. The Carne asada is okay but a little lacking in flavor and the fries were not deep fried well, rather mushy. The fries looked like they were fresh cut fries but they cannot cook them correctly. There is so much promise but definitely will not be ordering again. The have a very nice salsa bar with plenty of options. It was probably one of the best I have seen. The service was nice. The employee who took our order greeted us promptly and took our order immediately, she was very friendly. The issue I had was one of the employees seemed to have his family in the restaurant and they were very loud and the kids were running around hitting the service bell incessantly. After about 20 times I was extremely annoyed and disappointed that this employee could have cared less about paying customers enjoying their meal. I left with a headache. I am not sure if I will be returning to this restaurant again.
