Horrible return policy! 9 days only and only 9 items. Don’t think I will be buying my party supplies from here again. Here I come Walmart, just as affordable and better customer service! Manager was so rude to me because I wanted to return something. I have been a frequent customer for over 5 years there and 1 time I return something and I’m treated like dirt. Makes me rethink about spending my money here. Never buy the cheap toys there they usually break the first day. But must give them credit for a good selection of produce.

99 cent store has changed a lot since I’ve been there when I was a kid Huge store. Even has fruits now. Most items are only $ 1. I cooked an entire meal for 10 people for less than $ 20. Btw, always check the expiration date!

This store was awesome! I didn’t know that 99 cent only stores carried fresh fruits and veggies! It was all in good shape too ni maybe saw a few things that looked a little old but other than that all the produce I got was fresh and delicious! The watermelon was the best:)

I love going to the 99 cent store, but this one is not the one you want to go to. The isles are over packed with boxes and palets that you can only fit one cart down the Isle. The worker were very rude and would not move out of your way while trying to pass them. Overall it’s a great deal but the atmosphere here was lousy.

I’ll keep this short and sweet… This has got to be the CLEANEST«99 Cent Only Stores» in San Diego PERIOD. Everything was well organized, nothing looked like it was RAVAGED by consumers and the place(in my opinion) was DUSTFREE(unlike other 99 Cent Only Stores where the products and shelves are pretty dusty.) Would I come here again… YES, but only if I’m in the neighborhood and only if I’m in the mood to shop these 99 Cent Only stores.

LOL — I’m currently«the Duke» of this .99 cent store on Clairemont Mesa Blvd; OMG what a SPECIALMOMENT for me and my ENTIREFAMILY! Although I’m «crazy happy» for the acknowledgement Unilocal,(since we’re in the honestly bubble) I gotta come clean here… I’m kinda embarrassed too!!! First off, I’ve only been here TWICE! I mean COMEON two check-ins to Dukedom??? That’s BARLEY scratch and sniff sticker OR «blue ribbon» material and I’m getting the social class status of DUKE! So, I began to wonder… do Unilocal peeps keep their .99 cent«store visits» on the DL? Unilocal: «HEARYEHEARYE… we are gathered here today for the FORMALANNOUNCEMENT that Kent B. of Carlsbad, CA is the DUKE of the 99 Cent Only Store on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. Yes, VILLAGES please MARVEL at his HELLACHEAPNESS — that is all. GOODDAY. Kent: «Ummm, can someone PLEASE check-in here 3 times??? PLEASE!» BTW — this store is freaking great! A LARGE location that has everything for under a buck LOL! This store of reasonably priced goods gets an 8 «Congratulations, you are the Duke of cheapness and lameness FINESIR!» out of 10.

its 99 cents, you get what you pay for. If youre a bargain hunter like myself then check out their glassware section. I found 20oz libbeys wine glasses here and was able to snag 8 of them. Its also pretty funny to watch the characters that roll through and complain about the prices. LoL

You can get cheap fruits and veggies, soda, random toiletries here for so much cheaper. It’s always crowded on the weekends– best time to go is early morning(they open at 8am) so you get first dibs. :-)
