Esposa and I went for the grand opening of a new food truck. The place was packed, so we had to park across the street. BECAREFUL crossing the highway! There was a DJ playing a mix of music, several food trucks, and a large crowd. Several Spurs were in attendance for the food truck. Lines for beer were short early in the evening, but grew to silly-long within 90 minutes. It was a fun experience and we’ll certainly return.

One of the coolest spots I’ve been to in San Antonio in a long time! I was studying across the street and decided to check it out with a couple friends for some late lunch and was surprised to discover that some kind of fundraising event was going on. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon and I was instantly in a great mood when I pulled up. Kids running around and playing, ton’s of food trucks with great smells in the air, people sitting around and chit chatting… definitely did not feel like San Antonio. Almost like a slice of Austin instead. I was really pleased with my food, but I think the food trucks rotate through here so it’s hard to rate the park based on its food. All the food trucks seemed decent though, and I imagine it’d be hard not to find something to your liking if you come here. I’d say there were about 7 food trucks, and there’s a full bar on the other side of the park I believe. I would definitely come here again to have a relaxed saturday lunch with friends on a beautiful day. I imagine it’d be less exciting during the odd hours of the day, so try to come during a busy time!

Fun and relaxing food truck park tucked away down Boerne Stage road. Offers beer and wine with a great draft and bottle selection at the outdoor bar. There are heaters surrounding the patio and bar area with a small, divey inside dining and drinking area if you can’t brave the elements. Live music Friday and Saturday afternoon/evenings for entertainment as well as a nice playground and quarter basketball court to tire the kiddos out. Luckily there is a sno-cone stand right beside it to keep them energized, which recently started serving coffee as well to keep the parents just as much awake. Great variety of the usual and rotating food trucks as well as taps. Friendly atmosphere. Make this your night out or weekend afternoon lunch stop.

Looking for a place to get great food and beer in the Alamo City? Look no further! The Park is absolutely out of this world, great, friendly folks and a delicious rotating menu of food tucks and craft beers. A great place to spend the afternoon, or grab a drink after work! It even has a playground for the kids!

I don’t get out that way very much and should more often. Great beer selection on tap and bottle. good food trucks. Lots of outdoor shade or indoor seating if you prefer. Love this place.

We decided to come here after attempting to attend the Food Truck Throw Down. I’m so glad we did because Chef Bully’s truck was parked out here. His food is always amazing. I had the Filly Fries and the Jamaican Jerk Chicken Hero. The fries were perfect with the tender ribeye and the right amount of cheese and sauce. The sandwich was spicy but delicious. I love jerk chicken and having it in a sandwich was just as good. I also tried the Vietnamese truck and was extremely disappointed. I will return because it’s a nice spot to come hang out with friends and enjoy the live music. If you haven’t already follow Chef Bully on Facebook and try it out for yourself, you’ll thank me later.

We are regulars and the music is too loud tonight. We don’t mind the music but we come here to socialize and eat and hang with our friends. If I wanted to be in a club and scream I’d go to a club but that is not what we want. We’ve asked for it to be turned down multiple times. Management has tried but the singer won’t comply. Very disappointing.

Great place for weekend relaxation. The food truck variety is very good. They have some food trucks that seem to be permanent fixtures. Perfect when you’re craving one of your favorites. In addition to this however, there seems to be a certain percentage that are always new if your looking for variety. The drink selection is very good with plenty of drinks on tap along with a wide variety of bottled and canned exotics; all served very cold no matter how hot it happens to be outside. The new seating ensures that no one is left without comfortable seating and the playground offers great diversion for kids to play while the adults watch on. It Is one of boerne’s best kept secrets.

This was my first visit to a food truck«spot» like the Point, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a Saturday evening with lovely weather, so the place was pretty packed with kids and dogs; even with the crowd though, we didn’t wait in line at either of our food truck picks. I liked the location, and there’s lots of nice shady trees for hot afternoons. I really loved my deep dish pizza from G Bros(I left them their own 5 star review — I totally recommend them), and my hubs ordered some chorizo fries from another truck. We didn’t pay for any drinks because we took advantage of the free drink with Unilocal check in(thanks!), and they also happened to be running a big Blue Moon promo at the time. We got free beer(which is my favorite thing ever) so that was pretty cool. I’m not sure if this place rotates food trucks or not, and if they do I might go back. Even if they don’t, I’d go back to visit G Bros. But my mushroom deep dish was really the only vegetarian meal I could find — so my veg friends, beware. But, it was a cool spot to visit, and it’s probably a nice place to bring little ones or furry friends.

Great place! I have no complaints, really. We had food from several trucks and it was all really good. The live music, carbonlilly, was great. All around great time!

Traffic is terrible to get here and find parking. We are Herr pretty early and all food is sold out. That has never happened. Did we miss something?

The single best place we have found to eat and relax on a sunny day. Let’s break it down: Beer= amazing selection of real beer that will please even the most accomplished beer snob. Food= the three food trucks that are usually there offer anything you could want. Atmosphere= welcoming and warm staff helps you feel at home. The kids playground is a hit with the kiddos and overall a family place. Also there is an art-o-mat inside just in case you need a little more art in your life.

A neat concept just wish there was more space & variety … I was imagining a dozen food trucks by the amount of FB posts I see popping up on my newsfeed. On our first visit there was 1 Latin, 1 seafood, 2BBQ, and a shave ice truck. Pork U is permanently set up there so my suggestion is to try the rotating trucks first. The prices are a bit high however the food is good, portion sizes are decent. Example, we ordered the shrimp tacos & fish tacos, with tip $ 29. Oy. The serving is 2 tacos each — they were good and didn’t skimp on the seafood however they could have been $ 10 ea. instead of $ 12. They don’t come with«sides»(a scoop of slaw or rice would have been a nice addition for the price) and all they had to offer were fries :-/which was extra $. The bar is fun, only the outdoor section was open … I’m not sure what the inside is supposed to be(it looked like a storage space w/tables stacked on top of each other). There’s a jukebox inside so when the live music stops go ahead & pick your favorite tunes to keep the night going. Ladies restroom is in this space as well; guys– your restroom entrance is at the bar patio. Beers are cheap! Bring a koozie to keep your beverage chilled. They serve wine as well. Some of the food trucks had their own bottled drinks(soda, water) but you can order non-alcoholic drinks at the bar too. Plenty of space to sit, whether at a picnic table, patio table, or the bar area. There is a misting system to keep you cool. Play area for the kids is off to the side which is nice, an attempt to keep them away from the adults ;-) however many of the kids were using the bar steps & ramp as an extra play space, knocking into us & not even stopping for those who were trying to use the stairs for the real purpose. Parking is tight, small lot but there is also street«parking». I don’t know what that’ll look like when the road work is done … That extra space might be gone. Dogs are welcome, keep them on a short leash though! Trucks started shutting down around 9:30 which surprised me… Maybe they ran out of food? Don’t know. Something that could be improved for the individual trucks, the menu boards were on the ground(propped up against the truck). With a crowd of people you can’t see the board. They could at least buy an easel to put the board at eye level. Overall, I’d go back. It was a fun evening with friends. We might eat dinner ahead of time and then just split 1 food truck item as a late night snack. I can’t justify continuously spending $ 30 on 4 tacos.

What a fantastic little spot, perfect for a warm summer day. A little park for kids to play, with about 6 food trucks today and a bar to boot. Today they had a local artist painting some fantastic pieces and it was just a great atmosphere to talk with friends and drink some sangria as we choses down on ribs, brisket, and some tacos. Dang I’m getting hungry again thinking about it. I don’t think tou can go wrong with any of the food options.

The Point is absolutely fantastic. Great bar. Free non alcoholic beverage with check-in. A play area for the kids. Lots of great seating that offers shade from the Texas sun. And the layout is so very customer friendly. The location is great though a little bit of a drive from San Antonio. But the drive is so well worth it. Always a nice variety of food trucks to choose from. Best to check to see who is there on any given day. The only draw back is parking can be a chore. but great places draw people. So that should not be a deterrent at all. Just point your car north and head towards fun.

A great spot for food truck feasting — if you’re willing to drive. This location out on Boerne Stage Road is away from everything and is a nice, quiet, serene setting to get your food truck fix. The food trucks are packed in rather tightly but that’s ok. The site is dog friendly so bring Fido. There’s a nice open-air bar that serves beer and sodas. Unilocal check ins get you a free non-alcoholic libation. Enjoy!

The Point Park & Eats has restored my faith in food truck parks. Clean bathrooms? Great beer specials? New and interesting food trucks? Can this place get any more awesome? Lemme get down and dirty and let y’all in on the real reason The Point is superior. There are real people here! Like people who don’t ironically have a unicycle or wear day-glo sunglasses at night. I get a good laugh at hipsters as much as the next person but some food truck parks are just over-saturated with these characters and I’ve been desperately searching for some place where authentic people congregate. Is that hipster of me to say? Aw shit. it’s gotten to me. Anyway, only bummer about The Point is the parking situation but the gorgeous tall trees and variety of seating more than make up for it. Just an all around chill place to lose a few hours and down lots of beers.

Someone kick me in the ass. Why the hell did it take me so long to come here? Great little park just on the outskirts of town with a great selection of trucks all serving tasty, creative food. Even if you don’t go for the food, go for the beer. Yes. I said it. The beer-craft beer that is. The selection is pretty great and got to taste some gems I would not normally access to unless I’m in San Marcos or the ATX. The atmosphere is really laid back and they have outdoor and indoor seating. The indoor seating is pretty cool, with art hanging on the walls and a projector for your tv viewing pleasure. As an added bonus, they have a playground for your little ones. The owners and their staff are super friendly and incredibly nice(we were there last night and my friend forgot her jacket and the owner let her borrow hers). Talk about Texas hospitality! It just doesn’t get any better than this.

Firstly, I have to say I am a huge fan of the Boardwalk on Bulverde. I go there every single weekend and check out some of my favorite trucks. This weekend the BoB was closed due to electrical issues and I had to find somewhere to share my food truck love. I’ve heard great things about The Point, plus it’s extremely close to my house so this was a no-brainer, I HAD to go. The location is fantastic. Right off Boerne Stage Rd and I-10. When you get there, it’s not very obvious unless there are a lot of cars(which on a Friday there usually is). The parking is sort of a pain because they have two small parking areas, the rest you have to park on the street which isn’t a big deal. When we walked in, there is a huge jungle gym for the kiddos and a basketball hoop. Immediately, you see lots of seating areas, definitely gives you«The Friendly Spot» feel! There was five trucks tonight, all of which were different so there was quite a lot of variety. Two words: FULLBAR YESSSSSSS! This was fantastic. They had all sorts of different beers, wines and mixed drinks. You could open a tab and just get drink after drink after drink which is handy. Every day they are open they have a different special, Friday was $ 2.50 dos xx and Sunday’s are $ 4 sangrias and $ 2.50 mimosas! Yummy! Really neat. Bartenders are super friendly too, especially if you tip them *hint hint*. The trucks are great. There’s a lot of different variety and there are different trucks that park here on different lunches and evenings! Also, there is a small house-like structure which is full of art. There’s some seating inside, plus there’s an ATM which is a bonus! Restrooms are also well taken care of and are inside too. All-in-all, a FABULOUS food truck park here in San Antonio. Another great addition for our mobile foodies. ;)
