Texas Business Products

At first sight of Texas Business Products you might think the place is suspect. Why? Well, it’s a huge orange, no frills building. It’s a bit non descript and (the times I have gone) there are never tons of cars in the parking lot but there IS business going on.
I don’t really recall how I found TBP but when I had my first visit I was very pleased to find an office supply store that carried all of the basics that any office might need. In addition to office supplies it looks to be a small haven for teachers and such. They have lots of supplies that a school would find use.
Working near the downtown area you quickly find that there really are extremely few places that are convenient, where you don’t have to get on the highway and drive out to a mega chain. Don’t get me wrong. I love perusing the ballpoint pen aisles ate large office supply stores but when I need something quick and close I want just that. Quick and close. The ABP staff all seems to be very friendly and knowledgeable and if they don’t carry something you are looking for they will gladly place an order for you.
On top of all that they seem to be local and to my surprise, have been around in the same location since 1974! Well, that’s what the website said. See below.
All in all a good find for those in need of office, school or miscellaneous supplies. Yay for local!
