Great place! Came in for breakfast today and everyone was very nice and welcoming :) only downside is that they don’t have sweet tea and it’s my favorite. But other than that, would really recommend!

The house salsa they serve with chips is pretty spicy and I like that. Although I ordered a burrito and it was straight meat and that’s it. I don’t get that, I guess next time I need to ask for other things in the burrito. Boyfriend got enchiladas, and he said there wasn’t enough cheese, but he is a cheesy type, so there is never enough cheese. Prices were good and service was good. Would go back here again.

We chose this place purely on their Unilocal reviews, and we’re glad we did! Wonderful tacos, great service, delicious homemade corn tortillas, and fabulous coffee. Will definitely be back when we visit San Antonio!

Fast, inexpensive, delicious home-cooked Tex-Mex. We get the breakfast tacos regularly – potato and egg are especially good and not greasy in the least. Refried beans are among the best in the city. Corn tortillas are decent. Hours are good, too – they stay open fairly late.

Best Mexican restaurant in Northwest SA. Me and my family come here weekly when we don’t want to make dinner or have an early breakfast. I recommend the mini tacos, beans and cheese tacos, and both salsas are to die for. The restaurant also has a drive thru and has three tacos for 3.25 plus tax.

I love to come here the most for the carne asada plate. It comes with a large portion of asada meat on top of a bed of fresh homade cactus(nopalitos) plus a nice serving of rice, refried beans and a fresh delicious salad. In addition, i recomend ordering the house made corn tortillas instead of the factory made flour tortillas. The corn tortillas are absolutely delicious. Also try the pork carnita mini tacos. The carnitas are well seasoned and go great with the house made chile de arbol salsa. Importantly, i feel that the asada, carnitas and other specialty tacos are the highlight of the restaurants menu. If u are craving a taste of authentic Mexican style tacos; this is a place well worth giving a try.

First off, I will say the food here is always great! Great great great Mexican food! But the service… Oh the bad bad attitude filled service… Come here and expect VERY good food with bad service by Mexican women that look like they hate their lives and you… The great food isn’t enough to make me come here repeatedly, but it’ll do in a pinch.

This place reminds me of Mexican food restaurants from back home in northern california. Small, simple, and authentic! Coming from Austin, it’s always nice to eat authentic Mexican food in San Antonio that doesn’t have neon lights and queso.

Best mini tacos I’ve had. Carne asada, carnitas, and carne pastor are all excellent.

Soooooo good. Just a few blocks from my home. I finally discovered this location after figuring out the address I had before led me to a home. I would have to drive all the way north to the other datapoint. I can eat here everyday that’s how great it is. This location is small. Try the frijoles charros with asada. Crispy tripa tacos are BOMB!!!

This place is super good. I’ve been here twice in two days and first got the regular carnitas burrito and it was so juicy and delicious the next day it was a smothered cheesed chicken burrito that was amazing. The prices were cheap and the salsa tasty!

Most authentic Mexican food in San Antonio. I’ll warn you, don’t go here expecting to eat Tex Mex, this is for the people like me who grew up in or near Mexico. If you want a little taste of home, you’ve found the place.

I was driving through the Deco district and wanted a quick Mexican fix. I don’t know much about authentic Mexican food but this place seriously rules. Ordered a burrito with lengua. Thought it was a pretty ginormous burrito. But, I literally finished in, like, two seconds and wanted more. It’s that good. The staff is very courteous. Got my order pretty quickly without much wait. The burrito was 5.50+tax. There’s a few parking spots next to the building and plenty of spots on the streets as well. I don’t know what else to say. Just try it. Trust me it’s good.

This place has great food and friendly staff. I buy my employees breakfast tacos and the love them. My boys love their taquitos and my husband and I love their rajas. They are worth it.

My fiancée and I frequent this place at LEAST once a week, but usually more. For breakfast tacos, the chilaquiles and bean and cheese are our favorites. The sauce on the chilaquiles is soooo goood. For dinner, the pastor in either plate form or on a burrito you can’t go wrong with. We’ve tried all the other kinds of meat but keep coming back to it. Our lives would involve so much fast food if it weren’t for this place! And try the salsa verde. My fiancée always keeps a stash in the fridge. Delicious!

Real salsa! Finally a place with tasty/spicy salsa instead if the glorified ketchup everyone else serves. Mini Tacos are great too and cheap try the carnitas you won’t be disappointed.
