Alamo City Pizza Parlor

I had over looked this pizza parlor many times until I finally decided to stop by when I saw they had live music outside. A friend had said they really loved their food, but because it was not on my side of town I didn’t pay much attention to the place.
Big mistake, this place is amazing. The menu is simple enough, pizza, subs, and salads. There’s a lot of really unique items on here, like their chicken enchilada pizza. We had that last night and it rocked our world. Enchilada sauce, pico de gallo, jalapenos, tomatoes, and cheese.
The appetizer sampler is full of amazing goodies too. Fried pickles, fried mushrooms, buffalo wings, and mozzarella sticks. I washed this all down with a beer, but we had so much food leftover we had to bring some home.
Pricing is great, and with outdoor seating it makes it a great venue to catch live music. I highly recommend this place and be sure to bring your friends.

This place is great! If you like spice then you have to try the Texas Best Pizza. The dough is fresh and the toppings are plentiful and not your usual frozen suspects. The calzones are big and freshly made. Dave has added live music on the weekends and good beer choices. There is a patio but the space is small.
Alamo is a welcome brake from the chains.
