Always seems to be reasonably packed. Never full. And always take several minutes to be attended to AND a large portion of time to receive your order — even SMALL orders.

I dropped by to pick my girlfriend up some ice cream at 11 p.m. at night and they told me that they stop making the ice cream this late. Even though it says full menu all day

If I could put ZEROSTARS for this location I would. I’m going to emphasize this is the CLOSESTLOCATION to my residency. I’ve been here multiple times since my husband and I moved here in January ’15, But tonight was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Keep in mind this is a regular Sonic, it doesn’t have a Drive Thru, or a Dine In. It’s just a regular Drive In, Sonic. Also I used to work at Sonic so I know exactly how these restaurants are supposed to be ran. Tonight is Sonic’s all day $ 1 premium hot dog special, I went to their store at 9 o’ clock to enjoy Their Half off Shake’s. I ordered a: Small Oreo Shake Small Resse’s Blast Small Oreo Cheesecake Shake And a Medium Peanut Butter Banana Shake. Not that complicated of a order, right? Wrong. I waited 30 minutes in my station. Three cars next to me on my right and left hand side have come and gone all with their being of Ice Cream products. I pressed the button and asked for a Manager. The young man said she’ll be right out. Before the manger could arrive at my station I seen her walk out the store, and guess what? She wasn’t in uniform, I couldn’t see her name on her name tag, and she didn’t present me with a smile on her face.(Three things all employees should do/have when approaching a customer.) I asked her why it’s taking 30 minutes to deliver 4 shakes. Her excuse: ‘I only have one blender and it’s also the hot dog special today.‘ It shouldn’t matter what special Sonic has going on. 30 minutes for 2 small shakes, a small blast, and a medium shake? That’s unacceptable. I mentioned to her that for every Sonic in the U.S. There is a delivery time of 5 minutes or less for every Order made, also that she needs to have at least three individuals working her Drink and Ice Cream station because of Half Off Shakes, and there needs to be two managers for a day that has two specials going on. After I mentioned that, She looked nervous. She realized she wasn’t going to be able to Bull Shit her way out of this. She tried using every excuse in the book. ‘Well I only have one ice cream and blending machine.‘ Or ’I have a full parking lot.‘ Or ’I’m training.‘ The managers name of this location that I was speaking to was Margaret. I asked her to refund my money, and I drove to a different location to receive my order. (The other location took 20 minutes, and the other location had a Drive Thru too!) I do not recommend coming to this location at all. Not even for a happy hour drink.

Do not go here unless you have 15 minutes to wait. Even when it is slow I have waited 10 minutes+ for just a drink. Thinking it was a just a ad day for this location i gave them 2 more chances to satisfy me. Today was the last time I go there — waited 20 minutes for 2 drinks and kids burger and the person that brought the food didn’t even apologize for the wait.

Ran out of ice cream… twice. I live nearby and have tried this spot many times. It always sucks somehow. Drive a mile or so up Fredericksberg and go to the other.

This is the closest Sonic from where I live. That is the only reason I visit this location, but, I do not like it. No matter what time you stop by you will always have the longest wait ever and the order is almost always wrong or they forget sauces sweet-n-low, etc. I was writing this review before I just got my order. Guess what… they forgot the strawberries in our strawberry teas!!! Gggggrrrrrr! They have time to dress in costumes today, but, do not have time to get my order correct.

Should be zero. Went at 1145 on a Thursday. 4 cars in the spots. Pushed button immediately on arrival. Waited 5 min no answer. Moved to another stall and waited another 7 min with no answer. To finally have a guy walk out to speak to the car parked in handicap. And was walking back in. But caught his attention to have him say the system is down. And will be 15 min. Well is he the only one working the whole operations. Why is there no signs. Or bell hops telling the other cars.

I’m getting really disappointed in this location of sonic. I want to emphasize that it is only this location that’s a problem. This morning I wanted an ultimate sausage breakfast burrito(good product, by the way). They supplied a regular sausage burrito. So I asked them to correct the order. I know what the product should be, since I have ordered it frequently in the past. All they did was scrape the contents from the regular one into the new one, and give me the repackaged one thinking I wouldn’t notice. Pathetic. So I won’t be going back to this location anytime soon.
