Horrible experience! I am a frequent customer of other Orange Leaf stores. They ALL graciously offer sample cups right when you walk in. This store was empty except for me. The woman at the counter looked at me like I had a penis growing out of my forehead… just stared. I said«can I have a sample cup please?» She rolls her eyes and says«yeah, but I’ll have to go over there and give you your samples». I wasn’t sure I heard it right but by the time she rubbed her filthy hands all over the cups and waddled around to the front of the counter I started getting the picture. I said«you have to actually give me the samples?» She rolls her eyes again then she says«yes that’s how we have to do it». Never a smile, never any action remotely«friendly». I said«bullshit, I go to these stores all the time and nobody has to get my samples». Realizing that today was NOT my day to be dealing this kind of crap, I turned around, walked out and said«enjoy your samples Sweetie»…her bitchy response was«I sure will». I am a 50 yr old man, it’s not like I was going to sit in there and scam you out of your freaking yogurt profits for the day… but I do like to taste of a couple of the various flavors and then I end up getting the same thing every time. I have no intention of being treated like a child from the«frumpy yogurt lady» and HELLNO I won’t allow you to get my «samples». I have no idea where your hands have been! If you are an employee you should be FIRED simply due to your attitude! If you are the owner then you should just go out of business because you will NEVER be a success treating people that way… you are stepping over dollars to pick up pennies! It goes without saying that I will never be back to The Bitchy Orange Leaf Yogurt shop on Bulverde… I see the business owner has responded… and that’s cool. Please don’t tell me what«to» or what«not to» say in a review. I could care less what your description of «rude» or «insulting» is… when making a point everything can’t always be nice and sparkly. Also, I DONOT believe that YOU are the only yogurt store in the Greater San Antonio area living by the«Health Code Requirements». This is your own little rule in your own little Kingdom… FINE…have at it… but at LEAST post a big sign on the door so people who walk into your store will know that YOU are the only law abiding FROYO Source in the Great State of Texas and therefore they must be accompanied through the harrowing experience of «sample cups». The place must be a literal nightmare if you have more than a couple customers at one time. Imagine… every other Orange Leaf being Health Code Outlaws except you… who knew…

Love the selection of yogurts and toppings. A nice break from standard ice cream desert. Would love to see whoppers as a topping

Don’t like being followed while I sample a flavor or two. Very weird! The location at the Quarry does not do this.

Pretty darn delicious and so many choices! However, it is very, very expensive too; you could buy several tubs of your own ice cream for the same price. A rare treat.

We walked in for a quick night treat and four of the machines were out… including the ones that had what I wanted. The guy who was working the front was busy cleaning tables and chairs, which was nice, but he didn’t greet us when we walked in and my fiancé had to ask him to help us with samples. We’ve been to this location several times and I have yet to be impressed by the service. Today may be my last visit.

I truly appreciated the FREE11 ounce Frozen Yogurt on Veteran’s Day. The young cashier told us we could partake of any flavor we wanted as long as our cup weighed 11 ounces or less. It took several trips for me to realize that you can get a lot of Yogurt and toppings for 11 ounces and my children and I made at least four different«weigh-ins» until we hit«10.8 ounces». The place was packed with fellow Veterans who were also there to partake of this SWEETTREAT

Well after a long day on the Veteran’s Day Circuit and a disappointing attempt at eating at the 54th Street Grill and Red Robin due to Long Lines, the family and I did one last analysis of the Freebie List and called it a night. But just as I started to fold up the Food List I spotted Orange Leaf and decided we’d nightcap on some Froyo. It was my first visit at Orange Leaf but with the Amazing Flavors and selections I knew it would not be my last. The Yogurt was Amazing and the Corporation decided to honor our Military and Veterans with an 11oz Froyo. Accompanied with Free Wifi and A Military Discount I’ve found a new Favorite Establishment in town to relax at during those Triple Digit 100 degree scorchers next summer. As always I’ve posted pictures for your viewing pleasure. While $ 5.67 may be a lot to some versus purchasing a gallon at the grocery store, this small cup of Heaven would have been worth it if I had been required to Pay Ms. Foodie

Great choice of flavors and they have free wifi and games while you sit and enjoy your FroYo. They also offer a military discount! Nice spot for a quick delicious treat!

Orange Leaf is a family fav. We’ve always had great service here. We love the variety of flavors offered and the swirl option for flavors that go besr together. I also love the control you have on which toppings you can add to your yogurt bowl. They rotate flavors and toppings from time to time, but you can always count on Pistachio being a staple. A definite must to the bowl.
