Kids Junction Resale

Waaaayyy over priced compared to other kids resale places (even pricier to the ones in Stone Oak area $$$).

I visited this place for the first time in hopes of finding some items for my daughter. I was never greeted even when there were 2 employees standing at the counter!!! They just looked right through me! Not one word was spoken… so I felt unwelcome right away. The prices are ridiculous! Come here if you want to pay close to retail for an item that is obviously not worth even half of what they are expecting you to pay. I did find some cute items but was disgusted by how this place lacked customer service. Will not be returning.

They are over priced and the poeple that work there are very rude I walked in and walked out I was looking for some stuff for my baby usually I would have shopped I love stores like this but the poeple that worked didn’t even greet me just starred at me I felt uncomfortable so I left

Love that the owner is always there whenever I’ve stopped in! He helped me find a push cart/​ride on toy for my daughter. He even brought a few down to compare and let my daughter try out while he showed me all the comparisons and bells and whistles of the two. He’s also very friendly and shares stories about his own family.
They have a wide variety of items here and while it does seem to be an older and more vintage vibe, the quality of the items and pricing is fair and the store itself is clean no matter what day or even time of day I’ve been in.
What made me knock them a star? Last time I went they hardly had any 12 month clothing for sale, and there was a note on the door that they were accepting any clothing purchases at this time, so I’m not sure when they’ll restock those sizes. Bummer.

I do not live in this area anymore but I make the 20 minute drive because they always have well priced items and for resale they give you a very good deal. The gentlemen and woman I always see here are extremely nice and friendly! I’ve tried two other resale stores and they don’t compare.

Worst consign shop, hands down, in SA. Lady who works the front desk is incredibly rude and even rudder to children. Not sure why this couple thought it was the right business to go into when she can’t even smile at a child none the less smile. Or be nice. Old scrappy clothes. Priced way too high for used toys and they must have the air conditioner on at 89 degrees during the summer. Not a recommended place at all.

This children’s resale store never disappoints me. They are meticulous when choosing their items. My daughter-​in-​law never misses stopping in when she visits from california. Their clothes and toys are in great condition. The store is always organized and tidy.

No maternity clothes here despite that description… also, never even greeted or asked if I needed help. Blah to this place.

This is my first bad review I have ever written. This store has seen better days. Ever since it changed hands, we have to deal with a sullen owner who doesn’t greet us when we enter or if we are right in front of him at the counter. A surly cashier who doesn’t say thank you after the purchase until I did. The selection has gone down hill as well. I am now on the search for a new kids resale shop. I rather drive an extra 5 miles than to go there again!

I don’t ever like to write bad reviews. You never know if your catching someone on a random bad day however this is my 3^rd trip to this resale shop and all the experiences have been the same. The selection is poor. The quality is less than desirable. They are ridiculously over priced and the biggest issue for me is the rudeness of the owner. Every time I’ve been in his shop I have witnessed or overheard him being rude to customers on the phone, the lady at the cash register that I believe to be his wife, the potential sellers and he rants about his negative political and social views to random customers. At least he did the 3 times I went in to shop. I wouldn’t reccomend this place for buying and especially not for selling if customer service/​appreciation is important to you. It had to be really bad for me to take the time to review it. I normally like to express my positive experiences. It’s more fun however this was a negative exeption.

There is nothing like getting bill after bill after bill for your child’s birth to really get you into the resale buying option.
I mean really, $ 100+ for a decent exersaucer?
I found one here for $ 50, the babeh loved it, the owner helped me load it in the car. It was clean upon purchase but I gave it another good wipe down at home. Done and done.
I have also picked up a few infant hats for less than a few dollars.
Something to know, when you have a kiddo in school during the day you pretty much need duplicates of everything unless you want to bring things home with you every or every few days.
That means the babeh has a hat at home and a hat at school, each to protect her bald little head from the sun or cold. You get the picture but to make it even more clear — so someone gifts you with an adorable hat, sweater or booties for babeh? Awesome, come to KJR and buy a second set for school. Done and done.

I must say, Kids Junction is a great resale store! Its in an older location, but has its special smell that’s not aged.
The toys are usually clean and unscratched. There’s tons of Halloween costumes during the season. Tons of great shoes and accessories (including ballet and tap shoes). The clothes are definitely on the used side, much more than other items. They could be a little cheaper on items with faded colors IMO.
My daughter enjoys the little play area in the corner while I shop.
I pretty much shop here for costume items or if I’m looking for a special used toy that’s too expensive at department store or Once Upon A Child (another great resale store)
