I really don’t understand why this place isn’t better reviewed. I used to love coming here, twenty years ago! So it had been a while. It’s still as good as I remember! Looks updated too. It’s kinda of in an odd location, blink you could miss it. Parking is odd but living in LA now, really not bad. The inside was very clean, the vegetable table looked fresh and inviting. The burger was great. They weren’t busy as it was early, I can see it possibly being a madhouse on busy nights. The staff was nice and welcoming. I was happy it was still a great place to get a good burger. And I love the soda machine, so many choices. Prices are average $ 8 – 15 depending on what you order. Lots of options for burgers, beef, chicken, fish, buffalo and Kobe beef. What’s not to like

Was not impressed with this location. We have been to many locations and this one was not the standard. I got the 3 cheese burger. They didn’t even melt the cheese, they just laid cold cheese on top. My husband ordered a medium done burger and they gave him well done. Now let’s talk about the building. It’s old and the parking sucks. Overall, I would never eat at this one again.

Let me start off by saying thank you to my husband for choosing this place for us to go to last week! I am very picky when it comes to hamburgers b/c I LOVE them and I LOVE fries! But my only experience with the Fudd was over 15 years ago and I did not like it. Anyways, when we arrived the staff immediately greeted us and gave us information about the different burgers. I ordered the Texan Burger w/o sauce(not a big fan of bbq sauce… except my husband’s) and my hubby had the ½ burger. We both had our burgers on wheat which was a wise choice. When our order was ready, we both got up so we could get the condiments we wanted. My husband looked at his plate and said, «They were a little skimpy on the fries.» In his defense, he did have a small amount. One of the workers saw his expression and immediately asked if everything was ok. He asked for a few more fries and they obliged! Very Nice! The burgers were sooooooo good(both cooked to medium) and the bread was nice and soft… not dry and hard like some wheat rolls can be. The condiment bar was very clean and the veggies looked SOFRESH. We were VERY happy and plan on making this one of our regular spots! The atmosphere was so nice, my hubby and I just stayed and talked for like 4 hours! Time flies when you are having a good time… and have good company! Thank you Fudd staff for such good service and food! Highly recommend!

Well, the kids had fun with the video games. I was excited that the exotics were back, and ordered the Elk burger medium rare. It came out medium well and I asked if I could get it medium rare. They complied while saying, «It’s hard to do medium rare with the frozen patties.» Well, there’s that… explained a lot that it still came out tasting very blah. It’s just too bad because I remember Fuddrucker’s being the bomb when I was younger… now it’s just expensive. They are milking their 8 customers to make up for everyone that is already onto their decline, I guess.

Can always count on a great burger here. I ordered managers special it’s 1⁄3 pound burger fries and drink. Love the soda machine, able to choose any flavors. I always make a cherry Coke. They offer free melted cheese, I dip my fries in and jalapeño cheddar melted cheese too. Fresh vegetable bar to add to your burger. The atmosphere needs some updating. Remodeling with some paint new carpets new decorations. Looks exactly the same from when I was a kid.

One of the best Fuddruckers we’ve been to. The burgers are cooked to perfection and the sides are well portioned. Service is always excellent. Can’t wait for the Thanksgiving turkey burger with the bleu cheese cranberry chutney. Special thanks to Martin Reyes and Priscilla Sutton for the FANTASTIC service.

This has been my go-to Fudds location. It’s the original and the first I ever went to. Not sure what it is, it’s just better here. Saw that they had a new item, a Bison Chipoltle Burger. Decided this is what I would have. I didn’t notice if they had a smaller version i.e. 1⁄3 lb and forgot to ask. This is a pretty good burger. It would have been better had I not used deli mustard. I love mustard but it clashes with this burger. Mayo would have been much better. The wife’s burger was a bit dry and she didn’t care for it much, but she gets it well done. Maybe to done? The fries weren’t quite as good as I remembered. A bit grainy inside, but passable.

The burgers here are always delicious! They are never dry only juicy. My favorite is the cheese sauce.

This is the FIRST ever Fuddrucker’s! The very first. The original! All of the others are a copy of this one, but it’s different from the rest, somehow. I really enjoy the hamburgers from this place, typically. However, things have gone downhill since they started churning out burgers like they did back in the day. They used to have a full butcher in there, when you’d walk in on the left. Now it’s some weird storage room. I guess we can’t see the burgers getting made anymore. Do they still make them here? Who knows? I came with a buddy for some burgers– I was a bit disappointed that mine took about 10 minutes longer than my friend’s burger. He sat there and waited for my burger, while his got cold. Then, it didn’t show up with the french fries. Ugh. They did bring out the fries, freshly fried, but that took about another 5 minutes after I got the burger. I’d prefer it if all the table’s food can come together. I guess that’s a bit too difficult to coordinate. The burger was good– lightly salted and spiced. It’s served on a sweeter bread than most burgers I get, like a Hawaiian roll almost. The toppings were fresh and plentiful. The fries were heavily salted, but not soggy at all. The fries were probably some of the best stuff there. I really like their fancy soda machines, where you can get literally hundreds of different styles of soda. Want grapefruit flavored root beer? I’m sure they can make that happen. The prices are a bit higher than what I’m used to paying for fries and a drink, but they’re both quality, so I let that slide. In all, I know I’ll be back. It’s not my absolute favorite burger, but it’s certainly up near the top.

Fuddrucker’s is Relatively OK; the real downer is that the bun does not last until the end of the meal. Don’t get me wrong — the bun is soft, fresh and tasty in the beginning. It just does not accommodate the moisture of the condiments. By the end, what’s left of the bun is a ball of wet mush. Totally unappetizing. I end up scraping off the mush and just finishing off the patty. It was $ 27 for two hatch burgers with fries and drinks. Ouch.

This Fuddruckers is pretty good. It’s really large once you get inside and they have lots of fun games and toy things for kids. The burgers are always large and my past few visits have been delicious. Get a basket of fries to share with a friend. Tuesday they have $ 25 feed a family of four meal deal.

Dear Fudruckers… You suck. Literally, you have some of the worst food ever. I remember you fondly, and I’ve been to several of your establishments in North Texas… years ago, when you still cared… today we visited one in San Antonio. and all 6 of us were disappointed. Your burgers are worse than McDonalds(Smaller too!!)… and the fact that it cost me $ 80 to visit your restaurant, well… it’s just sad. You are terrible, your food is terrible and you should feel bad. Thank you for stealing from me. I will never see you again.

The turkey burger with Swiss and sweet potato fries just wouldn’t be complete without mayonnaise! Cooked to perfection not dry and the sweet potato fries were a nice compliment to the burger! The company was the best

I am a fan of Fudruckers. And yes I know it is a chain. The burgers a generously per-portioned. The buns are delicious and baked in house. The hot dogs are big and served on Texas toast. The milk shakes and fries both crazy good. So don’t pay extra for cheese just add the melted stuff that is free. I especially like the cheddar with jalapenos. Is there ever a bad time for a burger?

I love Fuddrucker’s(go to the I-10 location), but avoid this location at all costs. I understand this is the first location in S.A., but that is no excuse for how dirty the place is, the poor appearance and unprofessionalism of the employees, the higher than normal prices, how overcooked the burgers are, and the poor quality of the produce. The clientele is also pretty ghetto, although no fault of Fuddrucker’s. Again, avoid this location at all costs.

Great food, however today the bun was a bit subpar and I realized(after visiting a few other restaurants recently) that the location needs to be spruced up a bit, cleaned up a bit, and updated just a tad more. Otherwise, it was a good trip to the ORIGINAL location of my favorite food place!

Meh. My hubby had been Jones-ing for Fuddrucker’s for quite some time so we finally went. I’m not a huge burger fan, but played along anyway. First missing star: the place looks really run down. I know it’s an old building but I don’t like to walk into a restaurant and see dingy walls/ceilings/bathrooms, etc. The air conditioner was also leaking and there was a bucket right in the middle of the lobby to catch the drips. Not a good first impression. Second missing star: Both mine and my hubby’s orders were wrong. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar Burger but it didn’t have bacon or cheddar. Turns out the cashier rung up it up incorrectly; I offered to pay for the extra ingredients, but the manager insisted on gifting it to me, which was much appreciated. My hubby’s burger came on a wheat bun even though he didn’t request it. He elected to eat it as-is and enjoyed it very much. Here’s the thing, I finished my ENTIRE burger! I don’t ever finish a whole burger, so yes, it was tasty! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I like the food but not the people. I got an email about a promotion they were having so I showed my phone with the coupon but when i got there they told me I had to print it out but it didn’t say that on the email so rather than give me the special they would rather cancel my order that was already made. So due to bad service I went right across 410& got better food from chesters. Moral of the review… bad customer service looses customers for good. Note to fuddruckers– i hope the few bucks you tried to save helps your business in the future & the hall way smells a sewer. Ha!
