They quickly scheduled an interview with me. I had high hopes. On 8 January, I went in and was forced to wait 15 minutes past my appointment time. I almost left their office, but they finally called me in. After an hour of discussing my history and qualifications, I left with a good feeling. The staffing specialist, who I will not name, told me she would be in touch, but the process was a bit slow so please allow a couple weeks. So by the 26th, having had no contact, I started calling and leaving voicemails, and sending emails. To date, I have heard nothing back. I feel like these so called specialists get paid to build candidate volume and don’t try to staff everyone. I think in staffing, and even HR recruitment, this has become an epidemic. No one gives feedback anymore and its all about volume. They just hope you go away after you don’t get a call back. Hawkins is very unprofessional, in my view. Definitely not going back to these guys.
