Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Great staff. Their fries are amazing!!! And… the frozen custard is delicious. Definitely worth going. Great place.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The interior was clean and relaxing. The food was delicious and fresh. A better version of steak and shake in my opinion. Very satisfied.

I’d weigh 500# if I lived anywhere remotely close to this place. Fortunately for me, I live 300 miles away and was in town chilling. We stopped here on the drive back. Super smooth, rich, and creamy custard. Just get the large size concrete of your choice, and thank me later. My personal fav: PB cup with extra hot fudge (on top). Just plan on hitting the treadmill for an extra hour tomorrow.

Amazing burger place! Great for the kids and parents. Food is great and service couldnt get any better. Best part you can order desert all in one place. Best custard ive had.

A surprising burger joint. The simple menu delivers awesome classic steak burgers and patty melts, but leaves room for hidden jewels like their Vienna hotdogs.
Service was quick and friendly and took time to get our order right even though it was super busy.
Their fries and fry sauce were a pretty nice choice but be warned that their fries are truly shoestring and it takes a few in your fingers before you really feel like you are eating something more than great tasting air.

We ordered the bacon cheese burgers, they were excellent, fries were hot and drinks icy cold. service was prompt and friendly. Most of all, we loved the caramel cashew vanilla crunch sundae… freaking awesome! Highly recommended if anyone is in the mood for great All-​American cuisine.

I’ve dined in or gotten take out from this location several times and have always had a good visit. Freddy’s is a chain and there’s nothing unique about this location. I’ve always gotten the correct food I’ve ordered and the people working there do a good job. On my most recent visit, I ordered the single with cheese — my goto at Freddys. It was done correctly and tasted delicious like always.

I was surprised how good this place was. My visit here was awesome! I took the advice of the cashier and replaced my bun with the Texas toast. Wow! It was just done perfect and seriously made that burger even better. I didn’t try any of the shakes but my friend who did get one really enjoyed it. I’ll have to try one out next time.

It’s actually a very good burger but it’s more of a young adult burger place. Burgers and ice cream. Families with a pack of kids.
If your looking for a real burger place Freddy’s isn’t one of those burger places like a Dive burger joint.

Freddy’s is exactly what is seems — it’s a high-​quality fast food joint, specializing mostly in burgers, but also frozen custard (which, in my opinion, is really just ice-​cream). I personally like coming here every so often for its burgers, awesome fries and usually a plain caramel sundae. It’s a nice place inside, and a speedy drive-​thru on the outside. Also, there’s plenty of parking.
This is the only location I’ve come to as far as Freddy’s is concerned, but I’ve always been impressed with the service that I’ve received. The drive-​thru has always been quick and convenient, whereas the staff on the inside is there to make sure you’re enjoying your meal, have the right condiments and just to really see if you need anything else. They’re also very nice, so that’s a plus!
I’m a huge fan of the fries. They’re in between normal fries and shoestring fries with just the right amount of spice and tanginess, and even without the ketchup, they’re just as good. The burgers — again, high-​quality — are well-​cooked and have a great taste to them, especially with the actual steak patty and their burger buns. And their ice-​cream… It really just tastes like normal ice-​cream anywhere else, but they do have a lot more various concoctions that make picking one item a lot more difficult.
I’d say to definitely check this place out, especially when you’re just looking for a simple, good quality meal that’s both affordable and convenient.

I’ve been to Freddy’s a few times now and I usually order the #1 (single patty) with lettuce, grilled onions, BBQ sauce and double bacon (yes I said, double bacon). The burger and fries are usually AMAZING. They have some amazing Bulls-​Eye BBQ sauce too (ask for it when you pickup your order). For this I’ll give Freddy’s an «A»
Where Freddy’s loses some points is I was told they had good shakes so I tried one of those and it was quite the opposite. I ended up throwing it out as soon as I got home. It tasted like someone had put huge chunks of strawberry that should’ve been better cut up in the bottom of the cup. They tried to fill it with custard but about ²⁄₃ of the way ran out so they filled the rest of the cup ¹⁄₃ of the way with whole milk. I wish I were exaggerating. I’d say pass on this one! «C» (and that’s being quite generous).
Order Accuracy: C
I’ve found if I go inside and order, they get my orders right. if I’m in the drive-​thru they almost always get something wrong. I should be able to drive up and tell a person exactly what i want ONCE and they get it right. Instead I drive up place my order and when they repeat it back it’s wrong and the order ends up wrong in the end even though I correct it (take today for instance, I specified I wanted a single patty, and got a double; I specified I wanted BBQ sauce and I got TWO Freddy’s sauces).

The menu seems pretty basic, but they do let you customize burgers somewhat –i.e. they had no problem with me kind of making my own burger because most of their burgers are double patties but I really like a single so I basically did a single-​patty California burger with bacon and there were no problems with customizing it and it still came out accurately (most importantly).
Service: C
Going back to order accuracy — I wish people would LISTEN — Especially in the drive thru. What else do you expect to do in the drive thru when they hand you that headset?
Price: B
For the amount of food and the service, the price was mostly justified.
Other thoughts:
To make things easier, maybe they should just have plain burgers and let you build it with the toppings. Even if you do a #1 it includes mustard and pickles which makes for one TART burger.
