Gift cards are good. Really good. So much so that I wanted to take my wife out for something good. I had a GC for Chili’s, so we decided to visit this location at Loop 410⁄151. Went in on a rather busy Tuesday evening. Waited about fifteen minutes at the bar. Got our drinks and had started when we were called for our table. Seated quickly. I had the Chili’s famous baby back, baby back(ok…GETTHATCOMMERCIALOUTOFMYHEAD! PLEASE!) ribs. Wife had a steak, rib eye, medium rare as is her usual choice of doneness. Loaded mashed for both of us. I had asparagus with grilled tomatoes… YUM! The wife was content with just the steak and taters and an order of their new Panko breaded onion rings as an app. Those were good! Service was very efficient, attentive and spot on. No issues at all! Knowing that this is at a major intersection, this Chili’s is probably one of the busier locations. We had previously visited the locations at 410/Evers and 1604/Bandera. We’ll give this one a go since it is close to the new home.

I was debating on going back to give them another shot. Because my last visit didn’t go well. But luckily for them Crackle barrel dosnt serve liquor. I was craving a little jack and coke. I’m glad I did come by Chili’s. Thomas the bartender was awesome! He had on point Customer service! He made my drink just the way I liked it, Strong. Lol RESTROOMS: Clean. Restaurants dining area was clean. FOOD: My daughter ordered a pizza. But the pizza was served burnt. They apologized and brought her another one. I had the chicken crispers. All in all we enjoyed the food. Tried to pay with the tablets on table but was out of service. No problem, Tomas took our payment. I have to say I will come again.

This is my families«Go To» Chili’s…they usually exceed our expectations as far as food, service etc. Today we went and there was a wait… totally understandable as they are the busiest location in SA not to mention we had just got out of church so we had expected there to be a crowd. Once seated our server took our drink order and appetizer. Everything went well until it came time for our food, for my youngest we had ordered the kids pizza with fries, everyone’s food came out except his pizza, we had told the young lady who had dropped it off that we were missing his meal and she said ok and that was the last we saw of her, we had finished our meal and still no food for my son so I asked the manager whom happened to be walking by if he could remove it from our bill as we were leaving and I didn’t want to pay for something we never received. This is where I was impressed, he brought out a hot pizza, took it off our bill, apologized and gave me two free meals coupons for my children. Thank you for addressing the issue and going above and beyond, my simple request to just have it removed from the bill! We will return to this chilis of course as it is the only one we are 9 times out of 10 completely satisfied with in every aspect.

My boyfriend and I ordered ice waters and a dessert. THAT’S IT. We were literally there for over an hour, not intentionally. Yes it was a Saturday night, but that is still no excuse for FOUR tables to get their ENTREES before our one dessert. Our server was nice, but careless. After he saw my annoyed look he told me he’d have the manager come talk to us, came back and she still hadn’t come. Five minutes later she brings our dessert and asks, «Can I get you guys anything else?» as if we hadn’t been here waiting for ever. Only reason we didn’t get up and walk out was because I had been craving that brownie all week long. One star because they comped our meal.

Had the margarita chicken and tortilla soup. Soup, beans and rice were all cold. Not room temperature… cold. Chicken was good though. Well seasoned and tender. Service was fine. Too bad this newly remodeled restaurant has a subpar cooking staff.

There was no wait and was sat promptly. After that, it took at least 20mins to be greeted by our waitress who we realized was on her break the whole time, as we saw her smoking in the parking lot on our way in. She was friendly and apologized for the wait and gave an excuse as to why it took so long for her to come to our table. Our drinks came but had to wait for another walk by to receive straws. After that, we went the whole meal without a refill. Lights in bathroom didn’t work, awkward. The food was good as normal, dining area was clean.

This Chili’s was consistently great from 2006 to as recent as January 2013, but there’s an issue every time I visit now. If you read my reviews, it’s noticeable I don’t usually sweat the small stuff, and depending on how you see this, it’s either a good or bad quality. This recent accumulation of problems at this Chili’s compels me to make it known. The service staff is usually overwhelmed, the greeters up front almost always have some kind of attitude problem now, and while the food is still good, it often arrives missing an item. Such were the cases on my visit today, and I’m inclined to stop in less frequently as a result. I don’t know if the management changed, but across the board, this location has a lot of problems. Regardless, my server Alex bailed pretty much the entire restaurant today, whether she meant it or not, so individual efforts may occasionally surprise. If the staff were to pay much greater attention to service, both in terms of speed and quality, I think this Chili’s might be restored to its formerly high benchmark.

Waited about 10 minutes and then were seated. Our waiter Teddy was very friendly. We ordered drinks and fried pickles. The manger brought out a small order of extremely greedy fried pickles and said the rest would be out shortly. Kinda strange but the next batch was a lot better. I did not get my drink until after the food came. It was a margarita and kinda watered down, could not taste the alcohol. I got the green chili enchiladas which were good. The rice was excellent. My bf got the appetizer sampler which looked good. Food took awhile to come out but we were not in a hurry.

Horrible! A couple of coworkers and I decided to go to lunch during the middle of the week no too long ago. It sounded simple enough… Get in, get fed, and get back to work within a reasonable amount of time. Not so much! We were seated right away… but it took more than 10 minutes before I server came by. After the drinks were brought out…(and she got the order wrong #1), then it took another 15 minutes before she came out to take our food orders… After 30 more minutes, the food arrived… One of the orders was wrong #2)… Not to mention that my chicken fajitas were far from sizzling on the skillet plate expected! All in all, the total experience lasted a grueling 1.5 hours… which exceeded my allotted 1 hour lunch time… Thanks for that! So let’s recap… Two orders wrong… Brutally slow service… and a NOT to Talented Waitress… I don’t care if the manager comes out to apologize… You can’t give me that time that I lost. I will never go to that Chili’s again…

My food was cold and they said that they ran out of chips so my coupon wasn’t accepted, yet I saw other people still getting chips and salsa, probably just because I had a coupon!!!

One of the worst Chilis I’ve gone to, where do I start? My food was cold. The floors were dirty. Very slow service. We had a coupon for free chips and salsa and we were told there«was no chips» then a table near us got some(after us). And to top it off, I got really bad stomach aches afterwards.(I was my hands right before every meal.) The only thing I liked was my waitress, she was so kind.

I wanted to like this place. I had a gift card and didn’t want to cook and this place was close to home. Ice tea was terrible. Someone else must have complained since they brought a fresh one before I could complain. The fresh one was slightly better but still not good. I ended up getting a soda instead. Ribs were just okay. There was an annoying fruit fly buzzing the table. I just wanted to leave. I don’t think this place is worth a second visit. I’ll just drive to one of the alternate restaurants on the card.

Slow. We waited 25 minutes then when we sat down there are many empty tables. After waiting another 25 minutes, and no one even looked at us we left.

Just plain terrible. Order was wrong, drinks were wrong and manager gave us a whopping $ 4 dollar discount. Waitress blamed asst manager, asst manager blamed manager. If you eat there good luck. I only gave it 1 star so I could post my review.

I try not to come to Chili’s since I know I will leave disappointed. Nothing has changed my mind. Came here with coworkers for dinner. Food took forever to get to us and they got one of the orders wrong so we felt awkward having to wait for her food while ours just sat in front of us. We get our checks and they ran my bill on my friend’s card and used my 20 on my friends bill. We didn’t bother to have the waitress fix it since it may have caused a bigger issue. My other friend got charged twice. There are so many choices in this area that is easy to stay away from here. My other check ins were to go and even that was unsatisfactory in the service dept. I arrived and stood by the bar(sign by the counter stated to pick up orders at the bar) while several workers passed by me and not one asked if I’d been helped. Finally asked if someone could check if my order was ready… ugh frustrating.
