Ace’s Body Piercing Tattoos & Accessories

I got my 10^th tattoo here after moving here from the East Coast. I usually fly my tattoo artist from the Boston area out here whenever I want some ink done, since I usually want a significant amount done. However I had an itch for some ink as I’m sure anybody that’s reading this can relate to. I wanted a small poem (one run on sentence) tattooed on my tricep. I had to tell the guy continuously where the apostrophes go, and even though I had CLEARLY written everything, he still had spelling errors in his stencil that I had to correct him on. Which brings me to this-​why did he need a stencil for writing?! I had a wrap around leg piece done by my artist and he didnt need a stencil! ANYWAYS-​this place is not a friendly enviroment, constantly talking about prison and probation, loud music with racial slurs were being played AND on top of it all-​my friggin tattoo is illegible! He tried being all fancy and shit when I told him I wanted basic cursive. It looks like some elementary school kid took a caligrophy class and tried it out on my skin. It’ll be a bitch to get it covered up since it’s black and sloppy. Also very unsanitary. These people are also rude, I dont know how they pass inspection or have business, other than maybe their prison buddies going there after they get out.
It’s gross.

They also take cash only… which tells me it’s super shady.

Hate to see the negative reviews of Aces, I think they deserve better but everyone’s experience is different. Got my nose pierced there and had no problems whatsoever, CJ was able to calm me down, and did a great job– meaning it was fast and he explained everything he was going to do. I’m on day 5 and no infection yet, I;ve been cleaning it every couple hours, along with pushing the post up and down. Still have 5 days to go so if it gets infected I’ll be singing a different tune. For the time being I;d have to say that I’d recommend them

Update: Despite my numerous warnings my friend just got her nose pierced at Ace’s. The piercer took no time to clean the area that he was going to pierce, and just kind of shoved the needle in. My friends nose is now horrifically infected, and when she went into Ace’s for her 10 day checkup they did nothing for her.
DO NOT GO HERE! This place is so unprofessional and filthy. IF you want your piercing done right go to Iris.
