I order my goods on-line through my airline site to receive frequent flyer miles. Then, I have my goods sent to the store for pick up to avoid shipping charges. Yes, I do not get my impulse buys immediately but have to wait a few days. The up side is, I can accumulate airline miles and fly almost free out of Monterey Peninsula Airport. Yeah!!! Bön Voyage!!!

The bathroom was clogged and just a mess ! Gilroy Walmart 100x better and I wanted an item the girl didn’t even bother to check the inventory she would just argue with me saying we don’t have any in the back that there’s nothing but she was just lazy to even just check for me ! I could tell because her co work even said check but she’s didn’t even bother ! Horrible experience save your time

I went into this store to use the Pharmacy. This store has always been bad, and I only went in cause I was in the parking lot for coffee. This store is consistently poor employee ran. The people clearly dont care about you, me, or their jobs and it is evident in their work. This was also clear in this pharmacy visit. I went in with a few thousand dollars worth of prescriptions for an upcoming trip out of the country for a few months. They will not see my insurance’s money. I walked up and was the only person in line. A lady was in the back labeling some envelopes. She made eye contact with me after about 2 minutes of me standing there. She ignored me. She did not say anything, or attempt to get someone to help me, or even say«Hey, someone will be with you in a minute». Nothing. I stood there for a total of about 5 minutes. She saw me two or three more times, and one other person noticed me. No one said anything. HORRIBLESERVICE from people that dont care about customers or their jobs. If this store wants to succeed they need to find a way for their employees to have a major attitude adjustment or FIRE them! Just look at the stores overall Unilocal rating. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Is it possible to give this WalMart a minus 10? It recently reached new lows by not having any bags for groceries, paper, plastic, or for purchase, for the second time in a row, about two weeks apart. How is this possible? If you have 25 items, do you just throw them all in a cart? The first time I did something really stupid. I decided to call and talk to the store manager. After being disconnected and then being placed on hold for 15 minutes, I finally got through. The store manager apologized and said someone forgot to order bags. Really? How do you not do that? This time the manager just happened to be nearby so I explained my quandary — how does a grocery store like WalMart forget to order bags, again?! He couldn’t tell me. Does anyone from upper WalMart mgt ever read Unilocal?Better question — do they really care?

SECURITYCHECKINGYOURRECEIPT, REALLY??? Who do they think they are, Costco? (which I don’t mind because costco has excellent customer service) Questioned the security guard about this Inconvenience to the customers,(by the way, he had a long line waiting past the second register). his response, which by the way was rude was, «we’re only checking big ticket items». Really, $ 2.98 towels? Big ticket item!!! This Walmart on Davis Rd. was actually the only few walmarts that didn’t make me feel unsafe walking into, other then a few rude workers, it wasn’t that bad. I guess it’s time for a change, pay a little more, but keep your sanity. TARGET!!!

This has got to be the worst place to expect customer service. I went in looking to see if they had a specific item, which is a journey in itself. They first cant even use their own stores sku number they needed the official upc. Then instead of using their computer to determine whether it was in stock or not they simply went to where they«thought» it was«supposed» to be and said it wasn’t there, which I’d already confirmed.

This place is broken. 5(!) employees were asked politely if they could help find an item, 4 responded ‘what do you want?!’ The other responded ‘what for?!’(Because I want to buy it you freakin nimrod). None knew where to look for it; none had access to the computer to do an item check(the guy who knows how is on break, sometimes he goes home or goes to sleep in his car and no one knows when he will be back). A manager was overhead paged twice, no answer in 30 minutes. I think I’ll encourage the tweaker in aisle 4 to take a crap on the floor.

Just had the friendliest service in a while. Rocio was professional and friendly at the same time. I appreciated her concern for not announcing loudly that my son could get a soft drink with his meal. Personally, I have no problem telling my kids no, but I understand that others would prefer their kids didn’t even hear that option. Thanks Rocio! 5÷6÷15

Auto center is the worst. I came for an oil chagr, not a big deal about 45 minutes but took me 30 minutes to pay. I had wait beacuas there was no cashier and I was the only one waiting. When finally a cashier came instead of greeting me and everyone else now waiting he goes«what do you want?» Really? I am sure Sam Walton is crying in his grave to see the kind of employees he nos has.

They will fuck up your car. Came here for a standard oil change only to be denied service saying there was too much oil which is impossible because I hadn’t touched it since the last time I got an oil change at this Wal Mart. They couldn’t find it on their computers. How convenient but I had the receipt in the car. So they look at it and say ok they’ll do it. Long story short, because they had done a botched job the first time they had to send me to another place and that they would pay for it. We come back with the estimate and the manager makes us wait 50 minutes before he comes. I had to call and be annoying to get some sort of attention and to top it all off he had told his employees to tell us to either wait or leave. We need our car. That is poor customer and just shows Wal Mart employes need to be trained better in the suit department. The employee helping us however was a sweet heart but the manager sucked. Suck it Ray.

LOL. I just called this phone number as it appears on Unilocal and it would just keep ringing with no answer. If you have ever spoken to the employees there, you wouldn’t think it is farfetched that they don’t know how to operate a phone. That’s probably it.

The auto center is HORRIBLE. You have basically beg them to do work for you, because the staff is so lazy they try to turn all the work away. Examples: 1. We don’t have the tool to change your oil. 2. Our machine can’t balance your tires. 3. The right guy isn’t in today. Management needs to fire everyone in the department and hire new staff that is not afraid to work.

As the reviews below state; the customer service here is awful! Certainly don’t plan on being greeted unless your a certain color… unbelievable! As I’m going to check out at a register, I’m told, «It’s gonna be a while, um yah» Really? Wow come on Walmart let’s get some training programs for customer service, it’s not like you can’t afford it!!! And clean that place up, it’s disgusting!

Lets be honest here. Most people come to Walmart for one reason and one reason only. The prices $$. They can’t be beat. The store in in itself is very poor. But you can’t blame the staff for the lack of enthusiasm or clenliness. I mean c’mon everyone knows how F’d up Walmart is to their payroll staff. So you can’t argue when customer service lacks. Anyway… Main reason I come here is to do my grocery shopping and even thou their produce isnt the greatest it most definitely is the most inexpensive. I spend about $ 60 a week on my lunch meals for myself and my lady. That’s a bargain compared to other Supermarkets in where I spend 20 – 30 on just a few single ingrediants I couldn’t find here. All in all Walmart is Walmart. If you know it, you know it and if you don’t; learn to understand that you’re here for a bargain not customer service.

I will Never go back to this store ever again. No one greeted me nor asked me if needed assistance in the whole hour I was there. The isles were cluttered kids were running around pulling things off the shelves. I was in the sporting goods hoping to get assistance, I waited at the customer service area for 15 minutes and didn’t see anybody. I couldn’t tell who the employees were since most of them were standing around talking or on their phones and didn’t have name tags on. The only way I found out somebody worked there was when it came to check out one of the girls came and scanned my item and didn’t greet, ask me how my visit was or anything. All around disgusted with this store, I’d rather drive down to Paso Robles or drive the extra 15 minutes and go to Marina.

Selection, selection, selection… That is about as much as you can hope for. Check out lines while plentiful are often not open and those that are tend to be rather long. One other observation/question… Why does it seem like Salinas families travel as a group to go shopping?

I guess you really do get what you pay for. And you aren’t paying for customer service at Walmart, because there isn’t any. At all. I was on the phone with them(the Salinas store) for 15 minutes to see if they carried something in store. I got transfered 6 times — twice to electronics. I’m all about ethnic diversity, and I know other languages myself, but please — if you are living and working in an American establishment — you should be able to speak English. I was so incredibly frustrated and tried not to be rude, but the incompetency of the people who work here baffles me. I have been in there multiple times, and the staff is about as helpful as on the phone. They don’t even know where anything is(or, at least, the people who I have encountered don’t). When you try to return something, even though they usually let you, it is a nightmare. Sigh. I guess I should know better and stick to Target.

This review is for 05÷27÷12. After the hike at Pinnacles National Monument and eating at Costco, we decided to just explore the nearby area by foot. Since there was no major mall besides the Northridge Mall, we walked over to the Wal-Mart across the street. I wonder why Wal-Mart didn’t decide to just build a Sam’s Club across the street and do a Warehouse Shopping War. This Wal-Mart was a Superstore. It had everything from Produce to Freezer Section. However, this one did not have a McDonald’s. This one had a Subway selling PIZZA. WHAT?! I did not plan to purchase anything, but I saw a bag of Wonderful Pistachios. I don’t thing Dodger Stadium sells these since I keep seeing the promotions to Clap and Start Crackin, but Dodger Stadium does not sell it. So, I grabbed two bags of Wonderful Pistaccios($ 4.98 each). As we were headed out. I noticed that this Wal-Mart did not have Self-Checkout Lines. What a Bummer?! Also, as I was checking out, the lady did not greet me like she did the others in front of me. Booo!!! My total was $ 9.96. I guess no tax involved for my bag of nuts. If you have been to one Wal-Mart, you have been to all of them. Just like the Costco. Those bag of Pistachios were pretty darn good. It would have been better if I had ate them at Dodger Stadium and bought them at Dodger Stadium. I can’t win them all. Unilocal is My Review, My Story, and My Life. Its time to share it.
