I was a YMCA member off and on over the past decade. I let it go this year. I really enjoy the large outdoor pool in the summer months. It’s ideal for lap swim for my purposes. However it’s a massive pool and it’s used for much more then lap swim. This facility is big and open with allot of variety. YMCA is a family gym.

I like this place, the facility is fairly large and there are lots of classes to choose from. I took off one star for child care, because while the facility is great and the staff is attentive, I think they should turn away children who are obviously ill. The other day I went to drop off my child and the lady dropping off her kids ahead of me was discussing how her kids were both recovering from colds with the child care worker, and both were coughing a lot. The lady took them anyway. I understand parents having to bring their kids to daycare sick if they might lose their job, but this is recreation. If parents aren’t going to be considerate and keep sick kids home, the YMCA should enforce a policy about that to protect everyone else.

Love this Y.
I come a few days a week and it is such a great place. They are always inviting when I come in-​the Child Care Center is awesome-​they do a great job and my little girl loves coming here.
Great hours for the pool-​great equipment-​all in all a really great place for our family.

This is my YMCA.
They have great member services staff, they always greet you and are warm and inviting. Most of them are very helpful and knowledgeable about the Y.
The Personal Trainers are nice and they keep a good eye on the fitness area typically. I have noticed a few times members just chatting away on their cell phones while working out (which is against the guidelines) and no one as said anything to them about it, but it’s rare.
They have a great variety of classes to attend — many of them offered at multiple times throughout the day and week.
Head in and get a membership!
