Outstanding, we were there this past Saturday night… ordered at the bar… drinks, cigar and food only $ 46, and the nice bartender, a lady even brought all our food and drinks up to the top patio for us:) the entertainment was great and the environment was so smooth and relaxed;) We will be back… we just moved to Cottleville from Virginia Beach and this place is a great place for us «east coast beach bums» !!!

Great atmosphere!(as all the pics show) Great food! The pretzel bites were good but the asiago cheese sauce and honey bacon mustard sauce were gross. I asked if they had a grilled chicken sandwich cuz I didn’t see one on the menu — so they subbed chicken for turkey on the turkey panini — soooo good!(without the sauce, of course) The chips look cool but taste like grease more than potato chips cuz they’re extremely greasy. The Homemade Peach Sangria was yummy! It’s true — expect to be here awhile — but enjoy the atmosphere and relax!

This place is horrible. Nasty food is over priced and service is horrible. The«owner» is the rudest restaurant owner I have ever met.

Don’t waste your time or money! This place is the worst! It took 15 minutes for a server to come up to us and when mentioning this to the owner he was extremely rude! My family and I were the only African americans there and we were the only ones without a menu or a server. I had to go up to get my own menu and the owner decided to tell me off just because I was voicing my complaint to him politely. Im sorry but if it take 15 minutes to just come over to my table with out menus then that is a problem! The place was dead on top of that! I will never go here again!

CWS is great to sit outdoors today in fact my friend Lisa Bocci took her daughter Alyssa and some friends They had French Dip that she said her husband Paulie would eat. They had club sammies and a chicken wrap too. The sangria was tasty but weak. They did say the patio is great and their waiter was talkative. Located in the Cottleville Town Centre at 5314 Highway N, Saint Charles, MO63304, United States

Visited for the first time today. Warm welcomes and great outside atmosphere. For a Sunday mid afternoon we enjoyed live music, a vast wine list, and plenty of beer to appease to any beer-snob.

Different types of wine, outdoor seating, beautiful weather, good food. It was simply a lovely day to be out when we set foot inside this establishment. Although, technically we weren’t inside since it’s all outdoor seating within their wine garden. The waitress did, however, mention that the front room of the building where the kitchen is and where they store more wine is a wine tasting room on the weekends only. That was a bit disappointing as we were expecting to sample a few before settling down at a table for dinner. Before I proceed, the reason why I even came upon this place is that my colleague invited me over to her house to visit her dogs and suggested that we go to Cottleville which is just a few minutes drive to grab some dinner. I have not heard much about this area but was truly surprised by the restaurant rows that reside in what looked like a 2-block area amidst the quaint little downtown of Cottleville. It was quite exciting! We walked up to the Wine Sellers about 5:30 or so and there were only 6 or 7 people all sharing the same table. It started getting slightly busier later on but the place is quite big that it never had the feeling of being packed. We started with 2 glasses of wine: a cabarnet(for myself) and a malbec for my colleague. The waitress already brought some iced water with the menu which I highly appreciated. It was quite a bit humid yesterday and bringing water right away was a very thoughtful and considerate thing to do. Their menu consisted of shareable plates, soups and salads, sandwiches and wraps and I opted for the Lorenzo wrap: sliced roast beef, harvati cheese, lettuce, tomato, roasted red pepper and garlic sauce in a sundried tomato wrap. The wrap came with chips and a kosher pickle spear. I thought my wrap was delicious, the garlic sauce flavor was great but not overwhelming and the sliced roast beef was fantastic. My colleague ordered a chicken salad and fruit which was served on a bed of lettuce with sliced almonds and fruits(I believe she said cranberries). Hers was served with some multigrain crackers. She seemed to really enjoy her salad and mentioned that she usually always orders the same salad whenever they come to this place. The wine garden was fantastic and we overall had a wonderful evening out enjoying some wine, good food and a bit of chit chat. I would love to come back to this area and stop by here for some relaxing time with a glass of wine. My first visit has been impressive and I am glad I made the drive!

Wow… what a great place for a Sunday brunch. Came here with some friends and enjoyed myself very much. The staff was very friendly and attentive to our tables needs. On the gorgeous day I arrived at this place a bottle of wine was definitely the way to go. Then ordered a chicken salad sandwich which was fresh and delicious. With a nice glass of wine and a delicious sandwich with great live music where could you go wrong? I’m a fan and if ever back in St. Louis this will be a place I stop in again

Decent. It’s a cute place, but it just kind of has a stale, Applebees, lacking character, feel. Staff was very nice.

Really nice. We reserved the gazebo for a bridal shower. It included servos of chicken parm, steamed veggies, & mostacolli. I got there late but they saved me a plate, it was solid, better than I expected but it’s standard catering quality(I work in a catering kitchen). I had to pull teeth a bit to get 3 wine samples, but the wine was good. Def buy by the bottle rather than by the glass. Bar service was pretty slow. The musical performance was Colin McAfee he was excellent, he played my requests, even played Tenacious D!!! Cuz you gotta have the D with your wine. Beautiful venue I’ll def come back & keep it in mind for future events. I uploaded pics of the place & of the menus. Dress is causal, smoking & vaping is allowed.

Nice outdoor restaurant. There is a large patio, with a water feature and fire pit. There are heaters for cooler weather so this is a perfect place for outdoor dining from spring through fall. They have a larger variety of wine and beer. The menu is simple with salads, sandwiches, wraps, and cheese plates. They have live music on the weekends. It’s worth the drive if you don’t live in the area.

Second time I have been here and they clearing have a sign outside that states wine tasting inside. All the doors say employee only. Plus when you ask about it they make a big deal about it. Then say you have to give me a few mintues. Over it.

This place is one of my favorites in the summer! I love coming up here on a warm Saturday evening with friends. They have had live music almost every time I’ve been up here. Great place to sit with 1 other person and just chat for hours while sipping wine. I’ve also been here with groups of 10 or more and it’s just as accommodating. They really do have a great selection of wines here. They also have a decent selection of craft beers. I haven’t tried any of their food, but I’m sure I will sometime soon. Definitely try this place if you’re in the Cottleville area!

The ambiance it fantastic! However there are a few very important things that will need to be addressed before I would think about coming back. First of all the food was quite limited and pricey for what you got(understandable for a small wine cellar, but still people drinking in the hot sun sun= hungry people). Meaning they may want to take advantage of the masses; we aren’t talking a buffet of fried food but some more sampler platters to share and another sandwich or two couldn’t hurt. I had the hummus and pita, the pita was excellent and warm however the hummus tasted like it was straight out of the container you can buy at Schnucks; not totally bad, but bland and not anything like quality hummus(imagine store bought sushi by the deli section vs. fresh made, you get the point but there is a huge quality difference!). The other item that I had was the warm bree and fruit. It was quite tasty but severely lacking in enough crackers(I received 6 for a sixth size slice of the bree wheel), again not a big deal just not practical to share with even one other person). The main issue that I experienced in both my outings there, was the service. Both nights there were about 6 servers, give or take, of varying ages. Though friendly at times to mainly it was largely disappointing. Now, I worked in the food industry for several years, so I understand much more than most people will what goes on behind the scenes that impacts speed and efficiency when serving a table, hence I am extremely forgivable, but several things were borderline unforgivable. While both times I visited were on Saturdays, they were both different situations. One was around 4 or so with only 2 other tables and the other was with quite a packed house. I’ll skip straight to the consistent highlights. The servers generally did not care and seemed to enjoy frequenting a table to the right of the bar and smoking and lounging in full view of the expectant tables. We aren’t saying you cant have breaks but you may not want to be seen gossiping with all the other servers when tables need something. You work for tips? Well show a little more enthusiasm for your guests and don’t treat requests like a Herculean task that you push off until absolutely necessary(i.e. a request for a menu on the lean population night took 10 minutes and apparently very important text message in the middle– mind you it turns out we were only 20 feet away from them). But I digress basically it wasn’t all bad but the service could REALLY use some massive TLC. We are here to drink, have fun and make money for you. The least you could do is have appreciation and be professional. I really hope things do become better, I would like to come back(due to the proximity to home and the amazing setup), but the next would most likely be the last unless service improves. I hope it does! Good luck! :)

Cottleville Wine Sellars — we love it here! We met a couple of friends here on a Friday evening at 8pm. We expected to wait, but a table opened up very quickly. Our server was friendly and gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu since this was our first visit. They had a great wine selection, live music and delicious desserts like the key lime pie and chocolate molten cake. YUM! We will definitely be returning to Cottleville Wine Sellars. What a lovely place!

Javier Mendoza has done it again! I follow him, and he plays at the coolest places! This is how I found Picasso’s on Main, and now, Cottleville Wine Sellers. From St. Peters I originally thought, this is going to be such a long drive, but it turned out not to be. The patio makes you feel right at home and the service has been phenomenal the 2 times that I’ve been here. I don’t know a whole lot about wines, but the Pear Sangria was perfect for a warm summer night on the patio with the cool jazzy tones of Javier Mendoza.

Came here for a tame beginning to my college roommate’s bachelorette party on Saturday; there were only 7 of us in our party. None of us had ever been to Cottleville Wine Sellers before and weren’t sure how things operated out on the patio where we wanted to sit. We walked up to the bar and started looking over the wine list and were even asked by the lady behind the bar if we needed any help. Once we knew what we wanted to order, she then changed her tune and told us we’d need to find a table, sit down and have a server wait on us — which we then did. A female server approached our table and mumbled something about having someone else«deal with this» and walked away. A male server eventually came to our table and didn’t provide the best service, nothing terrible but not what I expected. C’mon, a table full of dressed up ladies who you know are out celebrating — he could’ve been friendly and actually talked to us instead of just taking orders and then disappearing. My biggest complaint was that the menu listed a variety of cheeses with crackers for $ 9, I ordered one for our table. However what came to the table was an unmarked white plastic tub of soft cheddar cheese with some crackers and I was still charged the $ 9. The location and scenery is nice here but the service was lacking. I also didn’t feel impressed by their offering of wine. Meh.

Cottleville Wine Seller is awesome! My parents live in O’Fallon so I’m always looking for a fun place to go with them when we want to grab dinner or some wine. The history of this place is amazing… find the owner and make him explain it to you, because it’s really interesting. The tiny old house is very cool and full of all different kinds of wine(and you can do tastings!) but the real action happens on the patio. The patio is HUGE! Find a table and a server will come over and get your order, and you can get a wide variety of wine and beer… and also some good food! Mostly sandwiches and cheese plates, but it’s all of high quality. The upper deck on the patio is the most fun if you can score a seat up there. There’s live music on the weekends and the vibe is just really fun and relaxing. I love this place! Go check it out and order a bottle or three.

I have been to this place a couple times now and I always find it a quaint relaxing atmosphere. Live music and not too huge of crowds are what set it apart from some of the other«sip wine with your friends» establishments. I went this past weekend with a group of 4 including me. We had a good time. I think the menu is a little small as far as food, and really I think the wine is fairly pricey for the quality.
