All Occasion Banquet Center

Attended a reception here last night. Although we had a great time a few things stand out. The bussers were practically non existent. When you did see them they were not good at all about clearing the tables. We cleared our own table several times. One of the guys that seemed to be in charge stood back ALOT when he could have been assisting clearing tables. They were young which is no excuse but all two of the ones I seen looked miserable to be there. I have done this job, people are in great moods and want to see the same. I think it was unacceptable to not have water at each of the tables. If there is an additional charge and that is why then that is ridiculous. There should always be a craft of water on each table. The bartenders did a good job. The food was good. Staff needs to smile more (excluding bartenders) as said above they did a good job.

Attended a wedding reception here recently for a cousin who got married, and we had a great time! I had never heard of this place over in St. Charles and it was a little hard to find… it’s off the beaten path a little and behind several buildings. Seems like kind of an odd spot, but as long as you’re using a GPS you should be good to go!
They seem to have several different rooms here that can be utilized all at once. As we were walking in the main doors, we heard a loud «SURPRISE!» coming from one of the neighboring rooms. Regardless of how much was going on, the reception we attended was great. Let’s start with the top priority: the drinks were strong. Totally solid. The food was A-​OK, and there was a good variety of things. My favorite thing to eat were the pumpkin & red velvet cupcakes at the end… yum! From what I hear, you can design your own package and figure out what food would work the best for you.
The dance floor was a good size and everything was fun and comfortable. One note, though… don’t try to bring in your own wine. They’ll take it away. Who brings their own wine to a wedding, anyway? Okay, it was me.
Great place to have a reception or party. We had a great time at All Occasion!
