I just wanted to say thank you for going above and beyond in the field of customer service. I visited this store for the first time a few days ago and received help from an employee named EDIN. I have rarely felt more welcome. Here is the kicker. She says bring in your furnishings from home and use the décor in our store to see if it fits your style. Never pressured me to buy a single item. Well done.

Love this store. One stop shop for home décor. Some things are pricey but others aren’t.

Sales people are very knowledgeable and eager to help. A lot of items are very seasonal however they do have staple décor that will stay «in» for years.
They have great pieces to add accent and a little punch to a neutral colored room!

WHOA, what a big ol’ upgrade Pier 1 got from its previous Fulton Avenue location. While the old store was older, smaller and rather dingy looking from the outside, this new location is in a brand new and MUCH bigger space– thus there is much more inventory to be displayed. The very vaulted ceilings have sequined throw pillows and artisan martini glasses stuffed up to the rafters. Plus there is a much larger parking lot now.
Aside from the big fancy venue this store is the same as all the other Pier 1 locations: packed with pricey home and garden pretties that you may not need, but man do you want it! If I could reconcile buying a $ 200 carved wood end table with my budget, I would happily buy purchase such things. The one thing about this new location that I didn’t notice in the old location is the excessive staff presence. While I do appreciate being welcomed to the store and being asked if I need assistence, I could do without being asked that 5 times in the 10 minutes I’m in the store.

The basics:
While out running around for some finishing touches for my wedding anniversary present I stopped in Pier 1 to check out what kind of goodies I could find. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by an employee and asked if I needed any assistance finding anything. As I was just browsing I declined and began my wandering. Perhaps 2 – 3 times I again was asked by different staff if I needed any assistance. I’m not sure if this is normal or if the staff was just bored but good to not have to seek out staff. They have lots of odds and ends in here everything from fuzzy papasan chairs to colored glassware and wall art.
What works: Plenty of staff on hand to help, lots of goodies
What to improve: A little more space and less clutter so you are not worrying about breaking something
The short version: If you are looking for some slightly more expensive home décor this place has some really nice and interesting options.

I have always loved Pier One and this new location in the freshly remodeled and refurbished strip-​mall on the west side of Arden Way across from Arden Fair Mall is bigger and better that where they used to be on Fulton Avenue.
The mall and parking lot are much improved and inviting. There are lots of little trees planted between the car lanes that look pretty now, breaking up the expanse of asphalt, and will really be nice when they are grown enough to provide some shade.
They have many wonderful furnishings and decorative items, and of course, this time of year they have a delightful assortment of decorations for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. As always there are pleasant and helpful employees.

Looks beautiful! Essentially replaced the location on Fulton Avenue. Got to peek inside and it’s safe to say they have outdone themselves — the setup is beautiful! Pier 1 always has nice looking décor and products, but they just did a great job for the grand opening. Be sure to check this place out on Monday, August 26^th!
