Whoever answers the phones left me on hold 3 times for more than 15 minutes and after the 3rd time stopped answering the phone, i loaned someone my car and was trying to order 3 mountain pizzas but as soon as they get back i am going to drive over there and punch the manager in his kidney as hard as i can, i didn’t get to eat the pizza because this garbage heap never answered the phone again and lost business not just now but forever and considering i was ordering for a business he lost my business and everyone i knows business, i will stick with any other locations for my future pizza dwellings. JOJOs pizza right down the street puts the hammer to the entire mountain mikes chain anyways

The dbl pepperoni is by far the best pizza i have ever had! Ive traveled all the lower 48 states and have eaten pizza all over the country and this location is the best.

This is my favorite pizza place in all of Sacramento. The owner always gives me the coupon price when I order from him. The establishment is always clean. The workers are always friendly. Oh yeah and the pizza is ALWAYS fresh. Im also noticing his up grades to his building every time I go in.

The older man, who was most likely the manager, treated me as badly as he treated his horribly mannered staff. My club had a fundraiser here and we were told because of a previous miscommunication, that we would get 20% proceeds from anyone who came into the restaurant from 6 – 9 pm. Upon ordering my food(after about 5 other club members) he asks me if i was part of the fundraiser and when i said yes he yelled at me and was absolutely annoyed that i didn’t mention it before the female employee rang me up. He raised his voice at me and then at her for not asking. She was embarrased, i was uncomfortable and she even mouthed the words«I’m sorry» to me apologizing for her manager’s uncalled for behavior. Come to find out he hadn’t counted anyone’s purchase towards the fundraiser at all up until this point. After all was said and done his employees could not even say«you are welcome» when we thanked them for delivering our food. OH! And it took one entire hour for a club member to get his food. It was a mini pepperoni pizza. And he asked the girl politely to check on it and she came back three times. once to make sure he was telling her the right order, the second time to check his receipt to prove he was not lying, and a third time to tell him he had to wait longer all the while with an attitude and making him feel in the wrong. Horrible place, horrible people. Food was the only saving grace. Sonewhat. To the nice but verbally abused cashier, get out of there girl! Run!!!

The buffet pizza is pretty weak. Thin, dry, mostly crust. Staff is friendly. Small tv’s but good sports coverage.

This is what happens when you loose your pizza coupons… Well actually your entire beloved collection of coupons for that matter… Beyond exhausted and hungry as we had just completed the move of Casa’s sent straight from the bowels of hell and didn’t know where the pots and pans were nor had the energy to cook even if we did know their location plus we were ravenous… And as I mentioned earlier I could not find my beloved collection of pizza coupons which is never a good thing… Not up to a drive to our usual pizza connection ol’ Papa Murphy’s I Unilocaled and Mountain Mike’s at this location is what came up and just a few streets over from the new Casa. Called, ordered and damn near fell over as I was told that our large meat pizza was going to be just under $ 28 bucks. My man reassured me that Mountain Mike’s is a superior pizza however and that I’d be amazed at the quality. I wasn’t. Nor was I at the actual size of their ‘large’ which is more accurately a medium. Toppings were fresh but not at all plentiful & although the young man with whom I interacted with at the counter was fantastic & engaging as we chatted briefly at the register about he and his girlfriend and our pizza preferences yet his name escapes me but he was a clean cut friendly, attractive younger Asian male, as I was still in sticker shock mode at the pizza hosing I had just sustained it was the manager or maybe owner who I really found to be rude, creepy & for lack of a better term a jerk. I have no idea who this man was but he did appear to be either an owner or manager but I am leaning towards owner; it’s just a vibe he gave off. He was a tall clean cut middle-eastern in appearance male dressed in a long sleeved dress shirt and slacks of some sort he was standing over at the pizza prep counter peering over the shoulder and directing the employee who was putting together a pizza and as soon as he heard the front door open saw me approach the counter and begin to interact with the polite fella manning the register he turned completely around, took a few steps closer to us and glared at both me and him as he slowly paced back and forth while doing so. Never taking his eyes off of us both but particularly me. The entireeeeeeeeeee time. It more than felt as though he was expecting me to run off with the pizza without paying or that maybe he was making sure the register guy wasn’t giving me too many cheese and chile packets. Personally I have no idea nor do I care. What I do care about is that this ‘man’ was not at all welcoming, never said one word to me yet gave me the death stare during my entire encounter with the register employee. I even smiled genuinely a the rude scary man behind the counter delivering the non stop if looks could kill death stare at me. He didn’t flinch yet continued to glare. I paid $ 28 bucks for a mediocre undersized under topped pizza and got a dose of creepiness & hostility for free. You will not find me in this location again. Even though I am rebuilding my pizza coupon collection and have one for a MMP, I will not use it here.

Worst Mountain Mike’s ever. We always request our pizza’s to be cooked well done at this location, because they’re always under cooked, I insisted on it this time and we just got our pizza, complete doughy mess, not even browned at all, cheese barely melted. Do yourself a favor and go to any other Mountain Mike’s. This one is a waste of money, my pizza is baking in my oven at home right now, kind of defeats the purpose of take out.

Lunch buffet is only 2 pizzas &1 dessert pizza. Salad bar is nicely stocked tho. It wouldn’t have been half bad if the pizza had tasted good. It seemed to have sub-par meat & cheese products like what you find on cheap frozen pizzas. I want to give it a 1 but the salad bar was actually good.

Having lived on the coast for quite a few years I needed to re-familiarize myself with Sacramento upon moving back. This meant finding a pizza joint(everybody has a pizza spot, right?). I’m still searching, but for now Mountain Mike’s will do. I prefer their pizza to other places for the obvious reason that I think it tastes better. Other reasons: the toppings are on the generous side, the sauce isn’t too sweet or too acidic, the cheese isn’t overwhelming the entire pizza, but there is still enough to coat the slice, and I don’t have to mop grease off the top with a napkin before I eat it. Also, I even like the pepperoni. I normally hate pepperoni pizza, but they don’t use that bright red, heartburn begging to happen, over-sized Slim Jim type of pepperoni. They use REAL pepperoni… at least I think it’s real, but what would I know? I’m not a pepperonologist. I like this location in particular because I like the older man who runs the counter. Aside from having seen him compassionately in action when another customer was having what seemed to be a medical issue, I like his kind, quiet attitude. They say they have free wi-fi, but I don’t want to get sauce in my laptop KB so I can’t vouch for it. The buffet can be a bit of a pain sometimes. They put the pizzas out pretty quickly, but there are only a few at one time and if you get some burly construction workers or big hungry mommas then prepare to hover around and throw some elbows when the tray comes out — no, really, please don’t throw elbows. Big Momma might smack you down and I don’t want to get blamed for your wounded pride.

First off Unilocal,I must confess that I’m an idiot. Why did I ever expect the pizza to look like they do in their ads? Maybe it was because they’re a bit pricier than most other spots around. I figured there was a valid reason for the few extra bucks– that it was a reflection of their quality. So, to fill you in, I just got back from their Wednesday night buffet for 7 dollars or whatever and my stomach hurts and I want to go the bathroom in the middle of the living room floor. maybe I will. to make a statement. take a photo and blog about it. I don’t know. The pizza cheese was gross, the pizzas were all slightly burnt, the crust was disgusting and their«buffet» was tantamount to two really small pizzas brought out every 15 to 20 minutes. 6÷8÷11 Never Forget. Never Again.

Last night we felt like going out and having pizza rather than ordering in from the other nearby pizza chains in the area. I’ve never had Mountain Mike’s Pizza, seen their ads/coupons in the mail every week, heard little about them and got a little curious. Oh boy their pizza was pretty awesome! I’ve always been a fan of Round Table(but they can be a little expensive) and tried the other chains around… but they don’t compare to the King Arthur Supreme. Last night we ordered a Large Everest. There was an abundance of toppings and the bottom and crust were nice and crunchy(the way my brother says pizza should be when you eat it in-house). Service was good, the place looks old but clean. I’ll be back again since I live near by. I think there is also an all you can eat deal for $ 6 on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday.

So I use my entertainment coupon for the buy one get one free pizza pie, cuz I’m a cheap bas-turd. BUT by using the B1G1 °F coupon does not give the owner the right to spread the amount of cheese for one pizza, over 2 pizzas. Literally, I could see more sauce than cheese. It still tasted decent, and don’t get me wrong, it did NOT appear that they skimped on toppings. That would have been a deal breaker. PLUS, the fricking place was freezing! Me and the family had to wear winter coats through the entire meal. Not that it’s a bad thing, it saved me the trouble of undressing /dressing the rugrats while we were there. –1 star for the smegma skimp. –1 star for making us feel like we were sitting outside exposed to the elements, although we were inside. 3 stars overall. I’ll give them another shot, and hell ya, I’m gonna use another B1G1 °F coupon. That’s they way I roll in these tough times. They’re lucky I even go out. I could’ve bought 7 tombstone pizzas and feed the kids for a month, for what I paid.

Decided to take advantage of their buy 1 Large/Get one free. I wasn’t disappointed! Only a 20 minute wait for pickup(they deliver-but it was 1 hour), and since its just around the corner, I hopped in the car. The pizza was hot and fresh. The inside of the place was pretty packed with families, friends and people just having a good time. This was nice to see! I will definitely get my pizza from here!

Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The owner is very professional and nice, and it seems pretty clean inside. I always eat out when I eat here, though. They delivered right on time, and the delivery charge was pretty cheap. They always seem to have a good deal on their pizza, and when you get it, it’s piping hot. If you’d like to have a mouthgasm tonight, order from Mountain Mike’s.
