Charged $ 15.99 for 8 piece leg and thigh chicken only that costs $ 10.99 a few miles away. Rip off!!!

We love El Pollo Loco but sadly NOT this location. I understand having to wait for chicken to finish cooking or waiting while they’re busy… but it’s completely ridiculous to have to wait 45 minutes when its super slow. Yes… they told me it was a 45 minute wait for chicken! I don’t get why they don’t start grilling more when they see they’re running low! To make things worse, it was 3pm on a Wednesday so not during a «rush» period and the place was practically empty. There was a line in the drive thru, but again how do you NOT cook more chicken when you are so low and chicken is the only thing you serve? This isn’t the first time this happened. Once we were told 25 minutes and we did wait that time. We just went to Walgreens to pick up a few things, but again that was just 25 minutes and on a busy Friday night not 45 minutes on a Wednesday at 3pm! Needless to say, we do like El Pollo and will eat there again, just not this location if I can help it.

I went out my way just to come to this food spot and must I say, GOODCHOICE! They closed at 11:00pm I had arrived at the drive thru window about 10:51. From past experiences coming to a restaurant right before it close sucks because there is no food or everyone ready to go… Not the case here The cashier/supervisor luz was amazing on her patience with me in ordering the PERFECTBURITTO! I order the pablanco BURITTO and it was amazing, filling and BIG! Customer service A Food quality A Oh yea n she wasn’t in a rush in leaving we even held a quick convo about the Kings, GOKINGSLOL See you guys soon, thanks!

In this neighborhood. Hungry for some«Mexican like“food. Decided to go thru drive thru big mistake. I have been in line for 37 min. My order was taken 5 minutes ago and I have yet to move. If we weren’t «committed» in the drive thru I would have left… this is ridiculous. Poor planning on anticipating the demand. Rainy day = eating out. This will probably be my last time at this location. Not giving up on the crazy chicken all together.

Food is fresh and on point with what you order. Good customer service. Only thing I dislike about this el pollo loco is the parking. You’ll see when you come here.

Came in on a Monday night around 7pm. Restaurant was about ¼ capacity. Drive thru was pretty busy. Food: Like any other El Pollo Loco. Good taste. I had a spicy Chipotle Burrito and Chicken Avacado Burrito. Good portion size, well stuffed burrito. Establishment: The restaurant itself is small, located in a street corner. Parking is localized to one side of the restaurant, and maneuvering around it is kind of tight. Overall clean and well maintained. Service & Overall: The cashier was professional, had a coupon and had no issue with it. However this particular restaurant enforce the rule of 1 coupon per person. Although I have not tried a series of a single transactions. Would not mind coming back.

The chicken here is so good! I’ve probably only had the food here 3 times but I would rather have this over Popeyes, kfc, or church’s any day. I also like the variety of food that they have. The salads and chicken tortilla soup are also amazing. We came late the other night and the guy at the drive thru was very friendly and patient with us since it was my first time ordering here. The only thing is they never give a lot of hot sauce no matter how many times you ask for more. Definitely try el pollo loco if you’ve never had it before.

Last night on 1÷18÷2016, my father and I were heading to El Pollo Loco(the Crazy Chicken in translation) located between Stockton Blvd and Elder Creek Road which it’s near and after 47th Avenue to ordered and redeemed one of the their coupon offers. El Pollo Loco delivers the finest grilled chicken and Mexican food entrees from tacos to bowls at anytime. The atmosphere and the concept remain the same as most El Pollo Loco location does on every map of the U.S. The employees are doing a fine job here although it does has some few flaws on it like overburn the cooked chickens and customer service. I’m sure this place needs more improvements to make El Pollo Loco faster in the near future. Now onto the food! We did ordered a coupon offer from the mail for a $ 10 deal which includes one whole chopped grilled chicken with a choice of flour or corn tortillas and salsa. So far after carry out, their chicken tasted flavorful and delicious! I can feel the flavors of their spices very well! The chicken did cooked properly, so it doesn’t overcooked for a long time! The salsa also top the notch too. I did enjoyed the Mild House salsa so much, so I can enhance the chicken totally flavorful! Finally, the tortillas baked perfectly and chewable to eat. Overall, not a bad chicken dinner meal! Parking can be limited here, so park it wisely during the lunch or dinner peek hours. Otherwise, you can also use their drive-thru easier, so you can order any food you want to go. In the end, El Pollo Loco is a good, national fast food chain where you can go nuts for their grilled seasoned chicken! A worthy visit! My rating: 3 ½ stars.

Ohhhh my god! I just ordered the double chicken avocado salad. DELICIOUS. So much flavor. I went through the drive through, and had wonderful customer service. I asked for 2 dressings they didn’t charge for extra. This Salad is AMAZZZZZZING!!! Friendly staff & perfect order.

The food is ok. I’ve had better Pollo Loco. Still good though. But what I didn’t like was the overwhelming stench of cat feces. From the moment you enter the parking lot to even the drive thru window. it’s as if some cat lady hoards cat there. I will not return. Too much and disgusting while ordering.

Normally we don’t come here for food! Sorry but the competition is stiff out there! This review will be short & sweet! If it wasn’t for the coupon we wouldn’t be here. I love CFA too much more!!! Your two piece grilled chicken doesn’t leave much to be desired:(I like rice normally but yours taste like what??? Like a watered down mess… Mac n cheese was very cheesy not bad! 2 piece left me wanting another frickin piece!!! I’m still hungry! We only do drive thru and that’s it! Prolly won’t be back unless I’m desperate. Almost 9 dollars for that one dish? I rather cook at home or go to Cxstco!

I just had their Baja shrimp taco, it is the worst I have ever eaten. The shrimp are salty and the tortilla had a weird texture. I didn’t finish the first one and thru the second in the garbage.

I was very impressed with the service we received. I tried calling another location, but couldn’t get through. I was able to speak to someone right away and all my questions were answered. When we got there, they were very patient as we made our choices and even gave my Mom a senior discount without us even asking! The food was delicious! We would have given them 5 stars, but parking and access were tricky.

Went to the drive thru and they said they were closed. I saw 2 people inside, but left and went down the street to find something. On my way back, there was a car in the drive thru and all lights were on and people were working. Man, all I wanted was the quesadilla. :(

I worked in the area. There aren’t that many places to eat at the corner of Stockton and 47th. This is why I frequent this establishment. I don’t understand why the incompetency level is so low. Every time I go through the drive through, I know not to leave before I check my purchase and as usual, something is missing. Today, I ordered the taco loco salad and was asked by the employee if I wanted the salad dressing in or on the side. I said I wanted it on the side. Sure enough, she handed me my bag, I made the mistake of not checking, got home, and no salad dressing. So now, I have nothing but greens, sprinkled with some kind of cheese and some sliced tortilla chips. No lime dressing. The next thing is the long wait lines at the drive-thru. Why! Why? If you get there at 11:45, be prepared to spend at least, at least — 20 minutes. I end up turning off my engine. Once I parked and went inside to see if this would make a difference, but it didn’t. The staff there is in some kind of slow motion. They then make it worse by apologizing in a way that you know they don’t care or mean it. Fortunately for Pollo Loco, the food is pretty good. But as far as I’m concerned, today is the last day I play supervisor for this establishment. GETYOURACTTOGETHER!

Not bad. It’s just crowded when I went here at the Drive Thru. It was one of those nights when I was done with school at 9:00pm. I didnt have dinner and I needed something to eat. I ordered one of the Chicken Quesadillas. I enjoyed it but the wait at the drive thru was ridicules. I think I was there for at least 20 minutes. I have no idea what was going on. I couldnt run away because there were already cars right behind me. I have to say though that the food I ordered was actually good. I have never ordered the other stuff on their menu except the typical chicken meals. The workers were really nice and also apologized when I finally got to the window to make my payment.

Not the best area… but they sure do know what customer service means. I’ve never gotten bad service here. The food is great and the location is clean(inside and out). My favorites: Any of the burritos and chicken tortilla soup. The chicken here is made fresh… it’s not your typical cheap fast food. This place is well worth the extra $$ for the quality food.

I have only been here once and will probably will only be here once. Mainly because it is an hour away from where I live and I only stopped here on my way up to Reno. The entrance to the drive thru is really weird and kind of long lol like you have to go through the whole parking lot and you finally get to the window where you order. The order process was a decent pace but my bf’s order ordered a chicken burrito and there was no chicken in there! So boo for that. The food here wasn’t as good as the food at the San Pablo location. So glad I live semi close to that one and not this one.
