Aces and Eights Tattoo

Larva did a badass piece for me. He was professional, clean work and it looks sick!!! I highly recommend this shop and Larva for sure.

I had a tattoo done by Pym at Tattoo Technique South in Kona last year and loved the results so much I had another done in May at Aces and Eights in Sacramento. Pym is an excellent artist who listened to my ideas and designed a beautiful tattoo for me, one I had been wanting for years. She is very professional, she will tell you honestly what will look good on you. She is also kind and fun. Both shops are very clean, something that is important to me. I would recommend Pym to anyone who is looking for an awesome tattoo.

If you got tattooed from anyone but Pym at this shop you messed up. Besides her husband Jesse. Pym has done all my family’s tattooes and my leg tattooes and she is amazing. Her style is completely different than I’ve ever seen and her shading is killer. It really brings the tattoo to life. She can do pretty much anything. If you want a good tattoo then make an appointment with Pym. She has this shop and a shop in Hawaii so she does appointment only. But she is easily reachable via her Instagram, Facebook, or website. Worth the wait and money.

Pym IS the only tattoo artist you want to see in Sacramento for ‘proper ink.’ She’s one of the few that strives to create a piece that will stand the test of time and not need continual touch up. I have been going to her for years. Her expertise, attention to detail, and wicked wit keep me coming back. Be careful though: tattoos are addictive!

My niece and I went in and Joey helped us out… He was very friendly and easy to talk to. That helped calm my nerves down since it was my first tattoo. If I ever get another tattoo will definitely go back to Joey…

Love this place have been getting work from the one and only Pym for years now and have no complaints at all! Love everything about her! The shop is super clean and casual and not snooty at all come as you are! But if you dont like pure honesty then this is not the shop for you! They are honest about what will look good and what won’t and will not just do it to take your money! Much respect!!! Can not wait to go in amd get more work done!!!

I send everyone I know to Aces & Eights. I’ve had work by all 3 artists — Pym, Jesse, and Joey. Love them all. Those I have referred to them have all come away very happy and generally return for more work. I think the combination of experience and diversity of both personality and styles makes this shop very well rounded.

I went into this place yesterday. Joeh was very nice and friendly; I really wanted him to do my tattoo. Then someone named Josh walked in and he looked very tired and not all there. he began to talk about what a horrible night and morning he had and said something about how he found his keys in the field next to where he lives. Joeh left to go to lunch so it was just me, my friend and Josh.
All I wanted was my sons name on my shoulder in some feminine writing. He printed something on the computer. It was very plain and there wasn’t anything special about it. I asked him if he could change it a bit and make it look different and he seemed to be irritated by me asking him to work on it a bit more. We were waiting for over 45 mins while he was drawing it up. As I look over the counter, I see him there and he is dosing off and taking forever to draw a damn name. We just walked out. I wasn’t about to have someone that was falling asleep doing my tattoo; something I would have probably regretted getting since he couldn’t even focus on drawing the name on a piece of paper.
I will never go back to this place. Josh completely ruined my experience. There were a lot of different tattoo spots in old town Sacramento we could have gone to and we definitely chose the wrong place. We spent so much time there I didn’t have any time to go anywhere else. If you do go there, make sure to see Joeh or make sure that Josh is actually awake.

Excellent experience excellent work! I saw Joey who perfectly tattooed the most beautiful delicate birds on my left shoulder. I couldn’t be happier. Best birthday ever. I can’t wait to go back.

Pym did an excellent job on my tat. I’ve gotten many compliments and she was able to perfect my completely amateur drawing. Can’t wait to go back and get some new work done.

My wife and I have been seeing Pym (Aces and Eights Tattoo) for nearly ten years. I have had very many hours of very detailed and intricate work done. She is the only artist I will let work on my tattoos (I went to one other artist and it was bad, Pym did a cover up for me). My wife, who said she would never have a tattoo, grew so fond of Pym’s work, she now has acumulated many hours of beautiful tattoos of her own. I trust Ace’s and Eights so much, I even referred my daughter to them and we were both extremely happy with the work. I have referred many friends and other family members to Aces and Eights and all have been more than satisfied. I still frequently get stopped by people who want to look at my work, when I tell them some of the work is almost ten years old, they can’t believe it. The detail in the work is that good. The professionalism, talent and just good company makes Aces and Eights Tattoos a stand out and premier hot spot for the best tattoos in the states. From the planning stage to the finished work, they are a pleasure to do business with.
