My husband and I went to Carrabas on Thursday around 5:30pm sat at the bar. I felt water on my head and the two bartenders said that is the condensation from the A/C. Couldn’t move seats as they where full at the bar. No apology. We had already ordered our meals. Our utensils, wrapped in a white napkin, so some one had to see them, where filthy like they where not even washed. The knives had an oily substance, salad oil, on them and the forks no better and there was dried food inside the napkin with the utensils. YUK! Quality has gone down considerably. There are too many other good places to eat and spend your money in Naples!!!

Wow, have their portions shrunk for what you pay! My husband had to go home and eat another dinner after paying $ 25 for what was suppose to be a steak. Very disappointing. The pasta dishes were all noodles. Hard to find any seafood in the dishes. Very small cocktails also. All ice. It amazes me how busy a place like this is. People don’t seem to know good quality.

If we paid attention to the negative reviews on Unilocal we never would have gone here. Thank goodness we didn’t. Our family is in the restaurant business in DC and we generally try to support small mom and pop restaurants. So glad we tried this Carrabba’s. The service was great and the food was delicious. We tried 3 apps, the arrancini, the wings and the bruschetta. All were excellent. The entrees we had were spaghetti with one meatball and one house made sausage, two different chicken entrees which were moist and delicious, and one of us had the three small plate special. We all enjoyed everything. I would go back for the chicken in Chianti sauce anytime!

Now I been to Carrabbas before, way before I knew what Unilocal was but now I recently came back and the memories of it being good is now a distant memory. First, we made reservations for 5:30. Good thing we did because when we arrived at 5:25 it was packed, however we were told we would have to wait(15mins) but we were able to get seated at 5:30. One thing about busy places the waiters/waitresses tend to run from table to table, our waitress did a pretty good job, I ordered a Ceaser salad and Margerita pizza. The bread came(which they are known for) it was still warm and tasty. The drinks came at a reasonable pace. The food is the down fall. The pizza wasn’t good, something about the taste. My salad was okay, wasn’t enough croutons. I wouldn’t be coming back, maybe it was that location but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Wow how far they have fallen! This place used to be good. We typically get take out in season due to crowds, but I can say we won’t be doing either again. They have obviously jacked up their prices AND I just got veal Marsala that cost $ 21.79 which I kid you not had 5 small thin slices of mushroom and one tablespoon of sauce. There might have been 4 ounces of veal. What an incredible rip off!!! Never again!!! And the upcharge for fettuccine Alfredo that was all oil and no cream? No thanks. There are much better choices in Naples than this!!!

Overpriced crappy chain food. Had a free entrée gift certificate, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Waitress was uninspired, $ 20 steak was edible at best, and $ 10 appetizer was all salty breading. How chains like this stay in business is beyond me. This will be the last visit I make to this establishment. I’ll stick to mom and pop places where my food is made in house and the people are friendly.

Excellent food, fast service. We ordered the file and it was very tender. Nothing to complain about.

It’s tourist season and place is mobbed. Waited nearly twenty minutes with a reservation, and it was not worth the wait. Soup was home made and salad was unimpressive. Another in our party had the small plates and felt it was not too impressive. Pasta was typical of a chain restaurant, not nearly as good as a small independent would make and priced higher than it should be. Suggestion for Italian food is stick to a neighborhood place with a good reputation

Ordered the Tues evening special of three small meals(actually appetizers). It was an interesting experience my wife ordered three I had three; therefore, we had six with a variety however all of the dishes were cold. The service was very very good. As usual, carrabas is a very noisy busy place. Would we return — yes! We wouldn’t order the miniature meals again The full menu looked appetizing and exciting that’s where we will go again Bön appetite

This is an update to previous review of 4 years ago. We stopped going there after last review but decided to return last week. We were seated immediately, which was a shock, but it was only 5 pm. The service was ok, but not especially friendly. We decided to only have soup and salad. My husbands chicken soup was mostly broth but his Caesar salad was great. My lentil sausage soup was excellent but my side salad with their house dressing was not good. The dressing was very bland and watered down. Asked our waitress for more dressing but she disappeared and never returned with more dressing. After adding lots of salt and pepper, I was able to finish it. This used to be our go-to place once a week. Not sure we return again. Very disappointing.

Carrabba’s is usually fantastic but at my visit last night I was underwhelming. The usually hot, fresh, doughy bread was hot, but not fresh or doughy. Service was underwhelming and the server didn’t offer the freshly grated cheese that Italian restaurants(Carrabba’s included) never forgets to offer before even serving entries. We had to ask another server if they had any.(Obviously they did, but who wants to wait, while food gets cold, to ask!)

At a first glance, this place looks like an attempt to draw people willing to spend money and drink their hearts to spend time here. The food, while pricey, is great with size able portions. There is a kids menu which has a good variety of meals. The service is very good, and the servers will make you laugh. I definitely would recommend eating here. My only issue was the length of time between courses, but other than that, no problems occurred.

Not much a choice down in south Naples. It is good to see Carrabba’s in this area. As a result we decided to have lunch here. After long day under sun working, it is good to be under AC. Even a glass of ice water is refreshing. The restaurant is not busy during lunch. Many retire customer in this area on the meet up. They do have the lunch special. I have order wood grilled salmon. When I am travel, fish is my obvious choice. This dish came with orzo — short cut pasta with herb and tomato. The orzo is well cook and maintains the rice look. The salmon is wood grilled with tomato basil vinaigrette. I don’t like my salmon raw inside. The chef did a good job to well done the salmon and make it crispy on the exterior. The interior is contemporary. The service is good. The bathroom is clean. This is good restaurant when you travel here.

This place was great! We had the mozzarella sticks and calamari for appetizers. We came on Amore Monday and had Quattro Fornaggio ravioli and my wife had shrimp scallop lingual any with vodka sauce. Apparently, Mondays are there snow days, so the offer lots of specials. Then, we ended up with the Pennecott time. We also had the Frangelico and Grand Marnier for four dollars each shot. Ask for Abby, she was very pleasant.

Great experience overall the food was more than what I was hoping for so I was pleased. Hopefully I’ll be back when I visit FL again. The waitress were all very attentive so maybe they have new staff in regards to prior negative reviews.

Delicious! Some of the best Italian food I’ve had in Naples. From the moment I walked in my family and I were greeted with smiles and a fresh scent of garlic. We were brought hot bread with a delicious marinara sauce to munch on till we received our entrée’. I ordered a Caesar salad along with ravioli which melted in my mouth. The service was beyond what I expected after reading the other Unilocal reviews and was astound on how help and fast we were served. I give them two thumbs up and will definitely come back in the future. This is one if those restaurants that will be one of your regular ones you go to after trying them.

Cookie cutter food for the masses. Prices are high for the quality but the place was packed on a Sunday night out of season so apparently my opinions are in the minority. To help with the evening try the sangria which was sweet and strong.

Used the call ahead reservation and it worked well. Food was as expected very good. Service was pathetic. Our waitress forgot our appetizer order and only stopped by once after food was delivered. We had to ask other staff for drink refills, boxes for leftovers, etc. really disappointing as I have eaten at this location several times before with no issues.

Ok let’s understand first and foremost this is a chain and a very very busy chain aka it’s popular. That being said I’m ashamed to tell you I think it’s great. There I’ve said it and there goes my street cred but if I’m going to Unilocal I might as well always speak from the gastronomic heart. I’ve been here a million times and I don’t think i’ve ever had a bad meal. Everything is made fresh. I eat out almost every night and I think I know good from bad. I usually sit at the bad so I’ve never really had a table experience. I’ve also sat on the chief table overlooking the cooking. So here is the way I look at it. Caraba’s some how found a way to manufacture great italian food on an assembly line but in the end my taste buds never cared. I’ve always tasted über fresh flavorful ingredients in all their dishes… I’ve watched these«cooks» trained like military precision assemble all the fresh ingredients by the book into amazing dishes. There is one other Itlain chain restaurant I also thought was great«Maggiano’s» So to be fair the worst food I’ve ever eaten has been Bucca Di Peppo and Olive Garden«Chains». So in sum I’m simply love Caraba’s and it’s my go to place when I want to have a great meal in and out! I «love»(I’m being real sarcastic) these other reviews where people feel they have some god give right to have their ass kissed just cause they are a «customer». I believe you have to treat every situation fairly, respect the wait staff and if they are«weeded» understand you may have to wait a little. For the record I’ve always found the staff there very courteous and trying there best to keep up with a very high demand. So if you want a review based on the food alone there you have mine above…

Overall a huge disappointment. Small portions, the food was mediocre. I wouldn’t return. This place is all hype and proof that there is an ass for every seat.
