Moore’s Furniture

They lost out on an 8,000 budget I had for furniture. I walked in the store and an unfriendly man came up to me and talked for a few minutes. He really looked like he didn’t have the time of day for me. I walked around the store on my own but really needed someone to help me in choosing furniture. I walked out. I called the store about an hour later because I was upset and she told me they were short handed. I would have totally understood if he had said he was shorthanded and busy and would help me if I gave him some time instead of seeming like I was a bother. But, he did me a favor as they aren’t rated too highly with the different review websites. There are other furniture stores that would love to take my money, so I won’t be back.

I went into Moore’s today with my sister because she is looking to furnish her new house. I’ve purchased items from Moore’s in the past and have always had a great experience. Until now.
We drew the short stick and got the crankiest middle aged man as a salesperson. My sister told him exactly what she was looking for and her budget for the different rooms. He proceeded to give her a hard time about how much she wanted to spend on a sofa stating, «well do you want it to last a year or 10 years?» He asked questions and didn’t wait for the answer. He was rude, condescending and completely unprofessional. I will never shop at Moore’s again.

Absolutely awful! We ordered a couch and the pieces don’t match… there is a color variation however The company refuses to acknowledge that there is a problem with the product even though we have showed it to them at our house and at the warehouse. They are not refunding our deposit because it was a custom order so it looks like our attorney will need to get involved. This company has no interest in making the customer happy nor are they willing to listen to what the customer has to say. In speaking with neighbors this is not a unique occurrence as they also had to involve a lawyer to resolve a dispute. I wish I was aware of their unethical business practices prior to doing business here.

Bought Sectional Sofa. The Sectional was Delivery and the colors do not match. It is a micro fider however no matter how you move the fabric the color was aways a shade or two lighter. I had found out that I spoke with Mr. Moore and had not ideal who he was at the time. I had drove to the warehouse at their request. We looked at the sectional and there was even a color difference there! He told me that it is the way it should be. They kept telling me it is the light. So they moved the sectional and the same section ws still lighter… He told me it was a 100% match and that he would not let a Customer take advantage… Take advantage… Really… We just wanted you to fix the problem… Great Customor service… Far from it. Now we had to call England and they are looking into it. I know Mr. Moore would not put this sectional in his house. It is not over but do not go there… They do not back their productions and the customer is always wrong because he has been doing this for 40 years!
I had told him I would write a Unilocal and all the sites and he didn’t care… So my first review of many to come…. Will up date as we move forward.

On a visit to the Eagle store I noticed that the store is overcrowded and the prices seemed to be on the expensive side. However, I did see a few quality pieces.
I would say they are ok if you are looking for traditional furniture and dont mind spending more money on the stuff just to support your local businesses. But you can definitely get the stuff cheaper online in my opinion.

Great customer service. Delivery was very quick since the bed was in stock. Delivery was within the scheduled time frame. The delivery men were friendly, professional and took special care protect the wood floor. They were also willing to switch the mattress from the other room. I bought another bed and mattress set from them a few years ago and extremely happy with them.
