Best beef bbq ribs ever! Came here a 3rd time still holds it’s great taste and all my friends ordered different meals each time, all got the thumbs up. Service was perfect as well. Highly recommended for sure!

Visited Vinsetta Grill today. Hours have changed dramatically. Now open 4pm to 10pm Monday thru Thursday and 4pm to 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Don’t know what’s happening. Started closing on Sunday the end of last year. Now no lunch time hours. Assuming no more breakfast menu. Food still good, but this isn’t a good sign. Three stars based on food.

What have then done to VG? Décor changed, new menu with much fewer choices. Turkey burger like pressed sawdust. Burger in a bowl tiny portion of lettuce. So disappointed.

Crazy deelish burgers and our server Marly was AWESOME! We’ll be back. Great bike ride down Vincent, too

I love the baby back ribs, bread sticks, and their strawberry daiquiris are pretty good. You can get a side order of half onion straws and half french fries to share that is really good. I think of this place as more of a restaurant for adults. I just wish they had more items to choice from on their menu.

I am not sure what has happened but this was one of our favorite restaurants. I think it has changed hands and is changing its clientele. It is still a good restaurant but no longer a five star. The menu is limited now no more chicken fettucine Alfredo. No more cloth napkins. And now attire is come as you are where there used to be somewhat of a dress code. There is now a bar atmosphere to the place rather than dining which it used to be. I guess you have to draw in the bar crowd if you want to make money these days. I just miss the way this place used to be.

Love Vinsetta Grill, one of my favorite restaurants in Royal Oak. Their build your own burger is great!

Was very disappointed. My husband and I used to love going there years ago. My co-worker suggested we go there for lunch and I was excited to go back. I was really disappointed. I love the place itself but their lunch menu was unimpressive. And then there is the price. $ 11 for a chicken creaser wrap that comes with nothing. And it was only eh.

Stopped in for lunch craving a delicious burger. Was sadly disappointed with what I received. I had a totally stale bun, mealy tomatoes and some sub par beef. Plus it was $ 9 just for the burger. Our server was also in a bad mood making the whole experience poor. Won’t be coming back. You can find way better burgers with quality ingredients in many other spots along Woodward.

Consistent, high quality — for years. This is my go-to place for BEEFRIBS. Most places serve pork ribs, which I generally do not like. I’ve traveled to Fort Worth TX often for business and always eat at Riscky’s Barbeque for their amazing bottomless beef ribs. The only place in Michigan I have found that comes close to Riscky’s is Vinesetta Grill. Overall the food is quality. Deserts are excellent as well — go for the fudge brownie Sunday, the brownie is remarkable. I don’t really understand the low reviews here from some people but most of it appears to be ‘whiners’ that are never satisfied, and like complaining about trivial things like ‘Oh my food took 3 minutes too long!’. GETOVERYOURSELF. Also, I have a theory — many restaurants are victims of the atrocious ‘Dream Cruise’ or as Royal Oak Residents call it ‘Nightmare Cruise’. Where the REAL customers go away — and stay FARAWAY from Woodward, and restaurants shift into ‘Here’s your junk food out of towner, now eat and go away.’ mode. Can you blame them? NOBODY likes these events except people that do not live here. If you factor out the Douche-Cruise reviews, I bet this place would consistently score 4 – 5 stars with everyone. This place is great, trust me.

I love this place from the servers right down to the food. Food is the best. Very juicy& tender meat. They give you alot on your plate. Employees are very helpful. Owner goes around to tables to make sure you are happy with everything. Beautiful place to eat.

This place has the atmosphere of many of the old hangouts on Woodward — Mavericks and Lemon Peel come to mind — but as they all are gone thankfully this one remains. The food here is great — love the fish n chips! Skip the hype at Vinsetta Garage, and get some real food here!

Came here last week for lunch with a friend from work. We split the fried pickles and the Mike’s Special. The Mike’s Special was more than enough for 2 people! It’s freakin’ huge! The fried pickles were delicious, but I wish the sauce was more than just ranch. A spicy ranch would taste better IMO. There were only a handful of people there during the lunch hour, the waitress was nice, friendly, and kept our water glasses filled.

This place is quantity, not quality. Had the lake perch with sides of macaroni and cheese and green beans. Lots of fish, overcooked macaroni and beans. :(

I got a tuna melt. It was the complete opposite of a tuna melt. The pita was hard and the tuna was cold. The cheese was nasty and not even warm. I also got onion strings which were more like charred onion strings. Never coming here again. The food was horrid.

I haven’t been to this place in a very long time, but I’m so glad I did. The food was so yummy and the portions were big, so if you’re hungry, this is the place to go! I did the«build your own burger» and I had the turkey burger and sweet potato French fries. The sweet bbq added the perfect topping! Our waiter was a little pushy, but nothing disturbing. My friend had the salmon and she said it was just as amazing! Looking forward to going back there soon! I wonder what’s the different between the grill and the garage.

Careful, folks, this isn’t the hipster joint across the street, this is just a regular old restaurant. Had dinner there last night because we wanted to try something new but didn’t want to wait in line anywhere, and this turned out to be a great choice. We started with the onion… thing(loaf? they called it something strange). It tasted just fine, but I couldn’t see any advantage to serving deep-fried onions in a weird tangle instead of just as onion rings. Still, tasty. I built my own burger, and the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the toppings i chose worked well together(grilled onions, grilled pineapple, swiss cheese, bbq sauce + mayo). My companion had the prime rib dip, and I intend to try that next time! My only small complaint is that the burger, which was something like $ 13, didn’t come with fries or salad or anything. Just the burger. We split a tiramisu for dessert, and while not the most authentic version I’ve ever had, it was delicious. Overall, a great place to grab dinner once in a while.
