Jenny fades me up for black-​tie events effortlessly! And when I’m in the mood, she can also hook me up with a purple mohawk. That’s why I’ve stuck with her for years, now. She can catch onto what my mood is looking like and can turn it into a hair cut and a look

If you want a badass haircut, you need to see Jenny. She’s been making me look good for years. She’s very creative and has a real passion for what she does. She’ll hear you out if you know what you want or if you don’t, she always has great suggestions. She really knows how to make your hair work for you. She’s one cool chick and always a pleasure to talk to.

Center Street Salon is a friendly, comfortable, yet hip and unique vibe. On a side note… Brad works up front and rocks… super friendly and helpful and honestly makes the salons vibe what it is.

Ruthie Jewel does my Keratin and color. I have never had so many compliments on my hair. My best friend told me that my hair has never looked better and I better never move away from Ruthie. When I go home to California, my friends all touch my hair and tell me Michigan has done wonders for me. But its ALL RUTHIE!!!

After falling in love with my aunt’s new haircut 7 years ago I went to see her stylist, Michael. He did such an amazing job on my hair that I’ve been going to him ever since. I get so many compliments on my cut & color. He also cuts my daughters’ hair and they receive many compliments as well. He has such an eye for which styles and colors will not only work well with your hair, but also flatter your face. I am 100% comfortable giving him free reign with my hair knowing it will come out great every time. I can’t say enough good things about him. My mother & cousins also get their hair done by him & have for years now. He’s so good that when people saw how much of a difference he made they wanted to go to him, too (& kept going back). The salon is very comfortable and welcoming. Brad couldn’t be nicer in greeting you warmly, offering a drink, and handling payments and appointments. I always look forward to coming in and getting my hair done. Highly recommended.

I super love my stylist, Ruthie. I moved to Chicago about three years ago and have been to at least four different stylists here at very chic salons (it’s a very posh city — you think I could find some one to do a great job?!? but no). After about every one I end up driving back to Michigan to have Ruth fix it. I love what she does with the cut, she is very knowledgeable on technique and she takes care of my nightmare grays with really good color. The salon has a very inviting atmosphere, the people are all really friendly and good natured. I don’t know anybody who meets Ruthie and doesn’t like her! I totally give a reco for her and the salon.

I have been going to this salon for years and I love, love, love it! I love my stylist, Andrea, the receptionist, Brad, and everyone else there. Laid back, attentive, comfortable, trendy. Nowhere else compares :)

From the moment I called I knew I would love this place. The receptionist was very friendly and made small talk as she looked for open appointments with my stylist, Jenny. When I got there I was immediately offered something to drink. Jenny called me back within minutes to begin discussing what I was looking for. I began explaining that I was thinking of bangs, similar to those of one of my favorite actresses, Zooey Deschanel. Turns out, she’s a Zooey fan, too (bonus!). She told me to hold on for a moment and disappeared into the back. She emerged with a laptop and pulled up the EXACT photo I was thinking of. She then talked to me about my color and picked out a rich, warm chocolate color that instantly warmed my skin. She then trimmed my bangs into sexy, eye skimming fringe.
Jenny is so adorable and talented! Hands down, 5 stars.
