I’ve been here twice! Once was for high tea and another time was for a friend’s baby shower! The decorations were super cute! So were the food and dessert. This place is a dream for hosting parties and events!

I bought the Groupon and will be expiring soon. Very disappointed because you can never talk to a person over the phone. When you walked in, there is always a party and you cannot sit down and have lunch over there. Very difficult to connect to this place, I have left messages and waiting for them to call back. Don’t waist your time and money at this place.

I thought the décor was adorable and the food tasty. I brought my grand daughter there and the chef had called out sick, but the management made up for it with great snacks and teas. We were both very happy. I’m coming back. They also had a fabulous looking selection(pictures) of wedding and party cakes.

Please change your business hours to: RANDOM. Hours on your store front is incorrect. If you want to simply host private parties, then state that on your business. Terrible business concept of not being open when your hours are clearly posted. From previous postings, this seems be be a normal way you run the business. Disappointed!

Bought a living social deal for afternoon tea here. We have gone to several tea rooms before, and this afternoon tea experience was not what we were expecting. I called a few days ahead and asked for a reservation when Wonderland opened at noon on a Sunday. I later learned the reservation was unnecessary since they are not busy and the reservation at noon didn’t even ensure they opened on time for us. When we arrived at 12:05, the place was still locked. An employee saw us waiting outside and told us she was waiting for the owner to arrive in 20 min with the key. There’s nothing else to really do in that plaza as far as window shopping or entertainment. We waited in Smart and Final for 25 min because we didn’t want to make another trip out to this area another day. In our experience, most afternoon tea sets *look* a bit small, but actually fill you up no problem as a regular meal. In contrast, we were still a bit hungry after the tea set here. We each got 3 open faced sandwiches the size of 2 fingers, and 2 little«scones»(more like muffin consistency) that tasted and looked like they were out of a box not freshly made. There were 3 tiny desserts each. Our desserts were crème brule, a tiny macaroon, and a tiny Oreo parfait thing. They did not allow us to choose our sandwich, scone, or dessert flavors when I asked and said it was a pre-decided set. We are used to choosing 1 tea pot each which allows us to try 2 flavors, but here we were told we could choose 1 flavor to share. My partner wanted a cold tea, and we choose the milk tea. This surprised me as the most tasty part of the set. The cream/milk added to the tea was frothy and the tea had good flavor. They also offered a refill. At least there was that…

Came here at 8pm on a Friday night and it is closed. If you guys changed your hours then change them. Because people try to have tea at a certain time because of busy days. And if you’re not open it just disappoints all of those customers who are trying to have tea.

Came here recently for a friend’s baby shower. She booked the place for about a group of 20 of us. My first time here and didn’t know much about this place. Parking was a bit hard to as it’s located in a busy plaza but finally was able to find a space right outside of Lin’s Wonderland. When you first walk in, you’ll notice the decorations fit for kids as it’s like an imaginary place filled with enchanted decorations on the ceiling to the walls utilizing every space possible. Two huge bears up in front sitting at a kid’s table with pictures. What a great place for kids especially with the small play area that they have for kids to enjoy. Food wise, it’s about $ 16 a person I believe if you come here alone which comes with food, desserts, and drinks to choose from. Not a bad menu set up they have going on as there are plenty of choices. The taste wasn’t too bad either. From fries, sandwiches, cupcakes, pudding, salads to drinks like ice milk tea and fruit teas. If you’re looking to rent out a small party for an event like a baby shower, this is the place to go.

This is my favorite tea place so far! Their tea always tastes good and their customer service is alright if you’re okay with silences that come once the music turns off. Sometimes it’s hard to get their attention, but they’ll get to you soon enough. Their tea is the BEST thing about this place, in my opinion. Their desserts are good too!

First off, I just wanna say the decorations here is incredibly cute! I just love the decorations and environment it gives off. As for the drinks, I think they should work on it some more. I tried one of their Fruits of Wonderland theme drinks, the Alice Malice, and it honestly wasn’t that good. I like how it comes in a huge fish bowl with little pieces of berries, but it honestly didn’t do it for me. I felt like I was just drinking berries in water. My friends honey green milk tea was good though. So maybe their non-tea drinks are better? Over all, I’ll give this place another try. Hopefully their drinks will be better by then.

Some areas were great, some not quite. Theoretically this is a great place to host children’s parties, but practically many little mistakes add up and it was a bit disappointing. I came here for my friend’s baby’s 1 year old party. It’s a neat idea to be able to reserve the whole tea house to your party with everything decorated and food prepared to feed all your guests. You just need $$$. It’s a good place to have kids’ parties since the place has cute Japanese cartoon stuff and a children play area near the front of the tea house. Theoretically everything could’ve scored 5 stars, but realistically they were not quite there. Pros: very good macarons, amazing chicken wings, cute décor, clean bathroom, very nice personalization for the party like a big poster on the wall where the cake was, water bottles with the baby’s name on them, cute colorful cartoon cookies, etc. At the end we had a lot of leftovers and the staff were kind enough to pack everything to go for us. Cons: we saw a small cockroach on the floor. It’s alarming when you have toddlers running and crawling around too. The staff were not professional. They spelled the birthday baby’s name wrong and said there’s nothing they could do to rectify it. That day, with more than 30 guests, there were only two girls working there, and they didn’t seem too good at problem-solving. They weren’t even ready when the hostess came in and said she came early… Huh? Since this was a private party and no staff bothered to put a sign at the door, there were couple of customers coming in trying to order drinks and got turned away. The set up just didn’t make sense. They had three gigantic plush toys that can be theoretically huggable, but not until you see a couple dark stains on them. The model displays were cute but very dusty… It’s nice to have a children play area, but why did you put it right next to the door where they could easily run out or have their fingers caught in the door? One toddler almost got his finger hurt. Also one 4-year-old could reach his arm over the glass wall to the bar and grabbed something to play with… There are just little things here and there that are all missed. There’s a lot of potential in this establishment but this place needs some improvement to deserve 5 stars. I really hope the management will improve down the road because it’s got potential. If you plan to host a party here, make sure you do your research, check out the place and talk to the owner to ensure a great and safe party especially for the kids.

hm where to begin. I got a living social deal for this place. I’m an avid tea room person. Always seeking a new tea room to check out. So when I saw the deal I thought why not? Let’s drive 45mins to check out this tea room. First thoughts — crowded parking lot, cute interior, dainty china ware Seemed to be a good start all in all. My friend and I are Pescetarian and Vegetarian. We never have an issue going to a tea room and not having something to eat. This place seemed to be out of everything except chicken/ham/turkey/bacon. Not even a fish or cucumber option(Though they were on the menu). We finally just asked for the ham and cheese sandwich sans ham. So kind of like a grilled cheese. Not edible at all. Obviously the chef is use to just assembling precooked things rather than actually cooking things. I could forgive this slightly because the desserts were edible, though I suspect they were the frozen variety that only required a microwave or slight cooking in the oven. I don’t say this to be mean only because of the fact that the scones we received were obviously microwaved. This leads to the biggest mistake any tea room should not be doing. Serving BURNT Scones!!! Who does that?!? I’m not just talking burnt on the outside. They did smell burnt and once I struggled to cut it open I saw the center was completely chard! Chard! I couldn’t believe it. The server did seem sorry-ish but come on… They did bring out more scones(totally looked like something that came frozen or from a tube) I picked at it but again they were over baked/microwaved. Such a shame that they spent more time on the décor and china ware and forgot about the food. Definitely will not be coming here or recommending this place to anyone.

I had such high hopes for this place being that I’m obsessed with Rilakkuma and the Rilakkuma décor everywhere was just adorable! That was probably the only positive of this place. Other than that my friends and I didn’t enjoy any of the food we ordered. The hello kitty waffles that we had were as hard as a rock. I literally dropped it onto my plate and it made a loud clunk sound. It was inedible. The bear pudding didn’t have much taste to it and ice cream’s consistency was off. Overall they get an A on presentation, however the taste of their food just wasn’t very good :(A prime example of something that looked IG worthy, but didn’t taste great.

Had our daughter’s 1st birthday here at the tearoom. I had the pleasure to work with owner, Mengya, on the planning of this party. She’s professional, prompt and very easy to work with. When I was looking for the venue to hold this party, I had the idea of an intimate, no fuss party. This place is fully decorated. They offer a lot of options for parties! Just tell them what you want and chances are, they have it. Of course you pay for the service and the quality of food they serve and although it’s not necessarily cheap, it was worth every penny for us. Since this place is VERY girly and pretty, we did the boys a favor and had a all-girls party and it was so much fun! There’s a play area for the kids(with LEGOS!!!) and the mommies got to catch up! Their staffs are attentive and very friendly. We had our party around 4pm, so the small portions they served were perfect for our little tea party. The food were really good and nicely presented. All of us had a good time! Oh, if you guys do not know what to order, GET their iced TEA! Any of them. They have a good selection and unlike some places, it is strong, high quality and very very delicious. We will be back. I didn’t get to try the macarons my guests were raving about at the party. Macaron and tea for our next visit!

We got a Groupon for lunch for 2, which included sandwiches, macarons and unlimited tea. We had dropped in a week before but it was hectic and crowded, so we made an appointment to come in this afternoon. It was quite empty at opening time, and like other reviewers say, the food does come out a bit slow, but what do people expect? It’s not a fast food restaurant! The whole space was very cute and the Wang Lee Hom music kept the meal very relaxing and fun. We ordered the Pastrami Sandwich with fries and Cubano Panini with salad. I preferred the Pastrami so much more because the Cubano’s pork was mediocre and had a weird taste to it. For the macarons and tea, we got what was available that day, which were coffee macarons and rose green tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but would not pay the $ 45(what the Groupon was valued at) to come here. Perhaps we’ll use this space for a bridal or kids birthday party! It is so cute and has all the elements I love about an event that I can envision myself planning. Excellent décor and friendly staff; the staff was very helpful and attentive, and even gave us our final refills in a to-go cup without us asking! :)

Assumed it was a kids playroom upon entering and thought I was trespassing. It didn’t help that they do not have their store hours listed anywhere outside and it was completely empty inside. Later saw some older women enter and then followed them in. Checked in and received a notification for 10% off and showed it to the waiter. He said«we don’t take those anymore.» What? Then remove it. Otherwise, you should honor it like any decent business would. Friend and I tried ordering 3 different drinks orders before we finally found one that was not«all out». Noticed some staff-members making party favors at a different table. Like the other reviews say, I also have a feeling this place will close up shop real soon given the emptiness and their unprofessionalism.

(Review based on 3.5 stars) Located in the same plaza as Smart & Final and Subway, specifically right next to XOX Pub and Restaurant. My husband and I came by here for their afternoon tea a little after 1:45 pm. We parked right in front of this place and walked in. No one greeted us when we walked in but saw someone in the back kitchen washing dishes. I just waited by the register until she was able to acknowledge me. She told me that we can sit anywhere and brought two menus over to us. We ended up sitting in a yellow booth and as mentioned earlier, opted for their afternoon tea, $ 28 per set, good for 2 people(I am a fan of high noon tea and want to try all the ones in the local area). This afternoon tea comes with 2 scones with a mixed berry jam on the top tier, 6 little assorted desserts on the middle tier and 5 small finger sandwiches on the bottom tier. You are also able to choose one tea under the hot tea menu. We ended up choosing the fruit platter tea, which had a a night light fruity taste. The employee who took our order said she would make it a little sweet for me because I was in the mood for sweet flavored tea. Now I do want to mention that another Unilocaler mentioned that the crystal tea pot that the tea comes in has a flimsy lid and that she had broke it by accident and was charged $ 25(in her review, she said the lid just fell out and onto the floor). Knowing that information, every time I poured out tea into my cup, I either held onto the lid tightly or took it off so that I would not fall off. So if you order the afternoon tea, be aware of this problem as the lid doesn’t fit the tea pot properly and can easily fall out. My husband and I both liked the scones with the jam. The scones had a melt in your mouth crumb with a light sweetness and was also a good size to start off with. The finger sandwiches we had included lobster, shrimp, chicken salad, tomato bruschetta and cheese with ham. The lobster really didn’t have much flavor, but the shrimp was good. I didn’t like that the chicken was just one large piece and not really shredded up or cut up in small pieces, so it was harder to eat. I thought the tomato bruschetta was just okay and the cheese and ham was pretty standard. The 6 assorted desserts we had included a small pistachio macaron(delicious by the way), oreo cream dessert, mini crème brûlée, almond cake(my favorite of the desserts), fruit tart(my least favorite, as the tart itself was not flavorful) and mini cream puff. I liked most of the desserts, my husband liked the crème brûlée(one of his favorite desserts). Service was not very attentive. Since there was only one employee, she was busy in the kitchen most of the time. I did not see her check up on the other restaurant patrons. I wanted some cold water to drink and was not sure if we could get more hot water for our tea but never got a chance to ask. But even though the service wasn’t attentive, this employee was nice. She answered my questions about the different teas when I had made my order in the beginning. I think if I was to get up and try to get her attention from the kitchen, I am sure she would be more than happy to answer my questions and bring a glass of water to our table. Anyways, as all the other previous Unilocalers have mentioned in their review, this place is very cute. It reminds me of being in a little girl’s room who loves stuff animals and all things cute. I love the chandeliers on the ceiling, as it just kind of adds a bit more elegance to this place. In the end, I enjoyed my time here and the afternoon tea goodies(which is a pretty fair price). My husband on the other hand only comes because I want to come, not because he wants to, lol(happy wife, happy life). But luckily the free WiFi(password is business phone number, 6269657771) helped him pass the time. Cute place, would like to come back. By the way, there are only 3 booths, a few couches/large arm chairs. There is also a little area that can be used for private parties with two couches, as there was a little girl’s birthday party going on during our visit. But this is not in a separate room or a is closed off though. The woman’s restroom upon this visit was clean and had cute little stickers on the walls and door.

We had a living social deal and came in on a Sunday afternoon, it was rather empty, but more ppl came in later on. With this deal, we got a pot of tea(we chose lavender), ice cream with dry rose petals-Nice touch, though, I wasn’t a fan(tastes like potpourri) and a tower that starts with scones(it was really dry), assorted sweet desserts and savory open face sandwiches. Overall, it was good.

What a cute, beautiful fantasy theme tearoom! This is what I wish my childhood room looked like. The environment is so fun and colorful. I can really see that the owners took a lot of time and effort to decorating this place to provide an «escape» and get lost in their teas and desserts. Rilakumma stuffed bears are everywhere(my favorite!) and I love their big cushion booth seats/tables! Absolutely stunning, visually. Can’t get enough of it. Love their drinks tea. To me, it tastes high quality and they even put bits of REAL fruit inside. My friend and I also ordered a waffle w/a side of ice cream for dessert after dinner and it was ok. The plating and presentation was exquisite, though. I’d like to try some other desserts they have to offer next time. A bit on the pricey side, but I can see that you’re paying for the experience and honestly, it’s a really nice, quiet environment. I would recommend for bringing kids for a tea party, for a date, or even to just catch up with your girlfriends. Private parking lot in the plaza they share with Phở Ha. Lin’s Wonderland Tearoom, just know that I, personally, appreciate your efforts and and notice your vision! Thank you for bringing it to life!

Came here for a quick Milk Tea run. Unfortunately they dont have boba! The interior is cute and perfect to bring kids along. But what felt wrong was the type of music they were playing. Straight hip hop in a «tea house» thats filled with Rilakuma dolls everywhere! And i mean EVERYWHERE! Not my type of joint.

One of those rare days I actually crave for dessert, I decided to look at my Bookmark list. I saw fruit crepes and I’m off. This is located at a busy plaza but parking wasn’t hard to find. Or maybe it was because I got there a bit late, around 8:30PM. There was no one inside except for the two servers when we got in. Of course I had to sit a the pink-est booth I could find. This place is so darn cute!!! From the colors, stuff toys, chandeliers, tables and stuff toys. Everything, everything was cute. Looking at their menu I was disappointed to see they crashed out crepes. The one thing I wanted to get. Hot taro milk tea(3 stars) — It smelled great; smelled more of milk than anything but the sweetness was perfect; meaning, it wasn’t too sweet. Great for pairing with their desserts. Fruit tarts(2 stars) — the tart part tasted great, with the crust really crumbly but the fruits tasted faintly of vinegar. Was it added on there to keep the fruits fresher? Too bad coz it gives the whole thing a weird taste. Kuma pudding(2 stars) — really cute but taste-wise, a lot to be desired. I don’t know what I expected but it certainly wasn’t what I got. It was okay. Great place to try but maybe if — IF — I go back, I won’t order any of their desserts.
