This is the same restaurant as Snowy Taiwanese Café Tea House. There are two sections to the restaurant. One section under the Sno-Crave Tea House entrance that has 3 large booths(enough for 12 people each) and another section under the Snowy Taiwanese Café Tea House entrance. There are 7 or 8 tables that seat four. First off, if you enter through the Sno-Crave entrance, good luck trying to get someone to serve you. You’re kind of hidden. You’ll need to go to the counter to flag someone down. Second, the service here is substandard, even for Chinese standards. The servers seem nice but they’re not very experienced. The girl who brought us 3 bowls for 5 people said, «it doesn’t look like that’s enough bowls, is it?» We said, yes, we need two more bowls. She left and never came back. Third, we ordered shaved snow with strawberries, condensed milk, red bean, and jelly. You cannot get more than one fruit per shaved snow order. Bummer! They coated the shaved snow with the jelly syrup and it tasted horrible and soggy. Fourth, we ordered two grass jelly soups which never came. We waited… and waited… and waited… and waited. After 35 minutes(and this after we finished our shaved snow), I asked the owner and she said just 2 more minutes. 5 minutes went by and no grass jelly soup. Finally, I told them to cancel the order and we left. I’m not sure how this place will survive if our experience is indicative of their establishment. Sorry Snow-Crave.

Like some reviewers have stated, Sno Crave is located in a spot that’s kind of easy to miss. Keep your eyes open because it’s in a back plaza. Anyways, this tea house wasn’t particularly any better than the tea houses around it. It was a bit on the pricier side with average drinks and desserts. The brick toasts, while eye-appealing, were rather disappointing. Haven’t been here since new management so hopefully service has improved. A plus is that it’s open a tad later than some other places.

I don’t know what happened but this place closed for a while then reopened. If the inconsistent hours are to continue, I might as well not come. As for the food drinks it’s great. I would continue to come. Cmon management. Make it happen!

Well, I had a good time here! Despite all the mixed reviews, I had a great experience with the new management. Granted, that banner outside stating new management was worrying, but let’s try to be positive here, ok? My friend was craving shaved snow and we got the Green Tea Snow with Red Bean and added mango. Adding the mango was weird and to make it weirder, it was unripe so it was kind of crunchy. Otherwise, the snow had a nice texture and it wasn’t too sweet! There was only one non-Asian worker there and he was SUPER nice. He gave us all extra plates, utensils and bowls to share our desserts and helped light up a candle for us since it was chilly that night. We all agreed that he would be more fitting in a more classier atmosphere. That’s how nice his service was! I had the Mango Crêpe, but unfortunately for me, they had run out of mango ice cream. THEHORROR! I got vanilla instead and this mango was not as unripe as the previous one on the snow. Hmm. I mean it wasn’t perfect, but it was not bad. They drizzled the delicious crêpe with Nutella and it was crunchy on the edges and soft in the center. Yum! I loved the different textures! My friends shared a huge brick toast complete with 3 scoops of ice cream. It was pretty humongous with unnecessary strawberry syrup on the side, tons of whipped cream and plenty of thick toast with honey. I’m personally not a fan of brick toast and having had quite a few upon the insistence of my friends, I would have to say this one was just ok. Overall, I still liked the place, even if they left the doors open, inadvertently letting the patio smoke inside. I would not make it a point to go out of my way to come here, but I would not be opposed if my friends and I visited again.

First of all, one star is being very generous and I hardly ever write bad reviews. I have been to many dessert/boba places & I must say, this place is horrible! The staff seems very undertrained and unorganized. The«shaved snow» that we ordered came in a bowl that was partly melted. It wasn’t even shaved snow. We added mango which was a dollar extra BUTITWASMANGOJELLY. NOTREALMANGO Their«fresh fruit» smoothie is definitely not fresh. You could taste the syrup. They even forgot my friends which was the first thing we ordered. The milk tea isn’t even partly decent. NEVERCOMEHERE

I will never ever go back to this place. My usual snow place I-Sweet recently closed so I went here to try to find a place to fix my strawberry snow craving. What a big mistake this place was. First off they were out of almost all of their flavors. I was forced to try their Taro. When it came it was flat, sticky and icy, not the light delicate snow I crave. Also it was way to sweet I felt like I was spooning cake batter into my mouth.

I’m sorry, but you guys failed. BIGTIME. We got a green tea shaved snow with aloe vera, pudding, red bean, and mochi, and a wonton soup. First time around, shaved snow with only condensed milk and aloe vera. We told you that you messed up with our order. You came back with pudding and red bean, no mochi. Third time around, came back with something that wasn’t mochi. Then, we found out that you completely forgot about our wonton soup. It’s a sad sad day :(the bf informed you of your screw up and the manager James Stephenson got all confrontational pointing fingers at my bf threatening him, «Where do you work? How would you like it if I come to your place of work and harassed you?» Bf was baffled. Manager’s demeanor was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. This is not the way to run a business.

This place is apparently under new management and definitely deserving of a visit /re-visit! The folks working here are super sweet(dessert pun intended), and my gal pals and I had a very enjoyable time catching up over desserts and drinks. Must order: Golden Brick(aka honey french toast) topped with matcha ice cream because that is pure gluttony heaven Also great: iced honey green tea They also seem to test new drinks with their daily specials — such a neat concept!

This place is great! I was waiting outside while the hubby parked the car and a darling little lady came outside to greet me and give me menus. Right from the start the service was top notch and very attentive. Her name is Ms. Annie and she is so sweet! She was most knowledgeable about the menu items and could easily help me choose an item. They have this new kind of boba that looks like candy caviar! Its called Popping Boba. Its like a little delicate burst of sunshine on your tongue! You cant stop eating it. Ms. Annie kept us entertained and offered water while we waited for our desert. She was also sweet enough to give us samples of lychee and mango flavored popping boba so we would know what to try next time we came. During our honey brick toast desert, we were going n about how sweet and decadent it was and how were going to get diabetes from it! Around this time two very good looking guys, I later found out, named Basie and Min were at the table across from us. Basie is very knowledgeable about health and even gave me some new information I didnt know! I later found out he was the artistic mastermind of that 4 layered brick toast from heaven! It looked way smaller on the menu ha ha! when it came out it was full blown dinner plate size and I near peed my pants with joy! This was by far the best cat toast honey brick I ever had. This honey toast was sincerely soaked in honey and I could literally feel the sugar doing the Cha cha happy dance in my mouth! I could see how the bread was saturated with the good stuff whatever it was… and thats the way. Uhuh uhuh I like it! If I am going to break my diet by golly, it had better be good and this was so dang good and pretty I almost got sick off it! This rose up to kick my ass and I loved every single bite! Perfect! The milk tea was taro flavored with mango popping boba. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! All in all everything was sweet, the place was cool and comfortable, quiet with good music, heck even the bathrooms looked awesome(see photos) and I died and went to heaven where the beautiful eye candy swept me past its gates and into mouthgasin bliss I went! Props to Ms. Annie, Basie and that hottie Min! XOX Will be back! P. s. Get a facebook ad start hosting cosplay events and have Japanese maid café nights!

From the BAE to LA what’s this place about? Seems that a lot of SF businesses are making a trek down the coast to test the LA market nowadays. I’ve heard the rave, and wanted to try it out myself. Sadly, this place failed live up to its hype. We ordered the almond cake and macaroons. Macaroons are well, macaroons; you can’t really go wrong their. Although here they seem to be VERYVERY small and cost a lot more than what they are worth, but like I said they’re macaroons. I’m not overly surprised. Now let’s get to the almond cake. I literally sat and waited for a hour. Yes you read correctly. A HOUR to be served a small almond cake. That is waaaay to long to be waiting for a bread. The owner realized I’ve been sitting for the longest without receiving my order, so took it upon himself to serve me a little fruit cake pastry while I waited for it to be prepared. He told me that my order slip got stuck under some other papers. Regardless the reasoning it is unacceptable to be served something so simple 45 minutes late in my opinion. I will give it to the owner though he was extremely apologetic, thoughtful and honest while discussing his business to us and the struggles and the triumphs. I will say though through our discussion and his honesty and his willingness to try and make everything okay even when there seems no way out of the hole, I will give this place another opportunity to do and be better. When I do return, I plan to check out their different teas. I had a sneak peak sleuth the party next to me. The teas are so aromatic and not to mention the funky & futuristic apparatus they are served on. Totally makes it fun for the guests. I sure enjoyed it and it wasn’t even mine.

NO-CRAVE for Sno-Crave, what a huge disappointment for an establishment that looks so promising. I hate to be a negative Nancy and it’s a rarity for me to write a pessimistic review. Here’s my compiled complaints: 1. I understand we’re in RH and it doesn’t surprise me that the person taking order my order has limited English… that’s why I always point to what I want on the menu to prevent a lost in translation. I ordered a honey milk green tea but got a regular iced green tea instead. Whatever, I didn’t complain and just drank it. It was alright. 2. The brick toast was waaaaaaaay below average. It wasn’t even mediocre. It took foooooooorever to come out. I was hoping that it was going to be worth the wait but nope what a fail. My brick toast craving was left unsatisfied. 3. J wanted waffles but they didn’t have it so she chose macarons instead but didn’t have the flavor she wanted(what a blessing in disguise). 4. This is what upsets me the most, we were given the bill before the toast even came out. Should’ve just slapped me in the face and told me to GTFO!

This place is pretty new and located in a newly opened plaza. Business and traffic is a little slow, but I have no doubt that people will be coming to this plaza because there’s a lot of good options for food! This place is pretty big with a patio on the outside. I have sat outside once and won’t ever again. It seems like everyone on the patio likes to smoke and they don’t have manners when it comes to where they direct their puffs of smoke. -.- TO-GOSERVICE: I came here to get drinks to-go. I was only there for 15 minutes and overall first impression of staff wasn’t great to me. The cashier spoke Chinese well, but her English was awful. I asked her how long ago has it been since the store first opened and she answered«since this morning.» Then when I tried rephrasing the question she replied«for about 12 hours»…talk about a complete awkward turtle moment. I worded the question in Chinese and she answered it correctly. Third times the charm! She was nice though, but if she’s taking orders for others… it could be a potential issue? The other employee sat at an empty table in front of the cashier and was just on his phone. I didn’t even know he worked there until the cashier called him to make the drinks. He seemed so bored and unhappy.): TABLESERVICE: It’s terrible. I’ve sat inside and outside and it’s the same thing. I have to chase them down whenever I want an order, refill on water, and check. GREENMILKTEA: I ordered it half sugar and it was perfect. Loved the flavor and quality! PASSIONFRUITJELLYICE: Tea Station has a similar drink. Saw that and decided to give it a try and it tasted exactly how I expected! It was really good and you should try it if you’ve never had it before. You can choose between other fruit flavors such as strawberry, mango etc. and that’s blended into a slushee with blended jelly bits and boba. Will definitely satisfy a sweet tooth fruity craving! SHAVEDSNOW: I ordered yogurt shaved snow with strawberries to share with a friend. It was the crunchiest snow I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know if their machine is weird, but it’s not as smooth as snow and not as crunchy as regular shaved ice. It’s weird. I didn’t like the hybrid-ness of it. So far, I’m only going to come back for drinks because that was the only thing that they could get on point.

Wow, this place is at like seriously hidden, but it’s one of the rare«snow dessert» places in town. The other«snow dessert» I know of is in Cerritos… called«Snowflakes.» So… it’s about $ 6 for snow plus another $ 0.50-$ 1.00 for toppings. The carnation for the dessert is free. It’s a LITTLEBIT pricey for dessert, but they give you such a heaping portion. I was like wow! So if you think of it, it’s like going to yogurtland with toppings and it’ll come out about the same price for the same amount. So it’s not too bad. Nonetheless, the dessert was amazing and the boba was so savory. I started singing«Aint no mountain high enough» when I saw my snow dessert. Yum! Good to try if you’re on a date. The ambiance was nice too and they have a patio to chill outside. Definitely Hot and New!

Came here last Friday night and we didn’t know that it was the grand opening of the plaza where Sno-Crave is located(Pearl Plaza), it wasn’t that busy but the service… ha! What service? The guy(I think he’s the manager) took our order and told us that their drinks were only $ 1 each only for that night. Okay. So we ordered some drinks and a mango crêpe with vanilla ice cream. After 20 minutes, one of the drink came out. Another 10~ minutes, the second drink came. We got the crêpe last and the guy just put the plate on our table. no fork. no knife. no napkin, just the f’kn plate with our crêpe on it. We had to get the forks and napkins by ourselves. -.- The base of the crêpe was hard. Blehhh. We ended up eating just the ice cream and the mango pieces. We didn’t even bother to ask for our check coz we know it’ll take them half a year to print it out lol we paid at the cash register(the same guy was there) and walk out never to return again. NEVER. AGAIN. Drinks were ok, but when you’re in this neighborhood, your choices of tea house/snow place are endless. Do your self a favor and just skip Sno-crave.

Okay after coming here a few times I have to say that the snow at class 302 is better than this place. After trying out the green tea snow again I realized that it tasted more like green tea ice cream than actual snow. Also adding toppings to it are $.50 to $ 1 which is fairly expensive compared to other places. Coming here in the afternoon on a weekend and it was not busy at all but it took a while for us to get seated.

My sis was super duper excited to try this place. My sis and my hubby are both big fan of shave snow. I, on the second hand, love or hate it. We got to the place and notice there is valet service in this new plaza. I was like new and fancy place. Nice! Never thought there will be valet outside a shave snow place but I guess it’s also for the other restaurants and shopping stores around the plaza. We ended up just finding parking in their parking lot. Okay we ended up ordering the mango shave snow. This place is a little bit more expensive. I think starting around 7 bucks with no topping. So, you have to pay more if you don’t want plain shave snow. We got our shave snow and it was so powdery. Not the good snow powdery, more like powder flavor and it was not good. I took a couple of bites and decided it was not worth the calories. Maybe the drinks might be better at this place but I will be getting my shave snow elsewhere.

**I Will be revisiting this weekend sometime to try again and I will update my review. But for now. . The other night I was craving some gelato but I was told there’s no gelato place in the area. So I offered class 302 as the alternative and was quickly met with a «no! Didn’t you see my review?» By mr. chu. I’m not too hard to please so I told him if he could find a better place then go ahead and send the address. After about half an hour we get a message with Sno Crave and their address. Brand spanking new in a kind of hidden plaza. First thing I noticed: the luxury car show in the parking lot haha. I’m talking Ferrari luxury baaby! Of course, it was valeted, which is a nice touch to this location. Sno crave is huge! They have a very big location and I’m not too sure if its because they’re still so new or what but I dig the modern minimalist look they have. We ordered… Wait I don’t remember the boys’ orders names but I know it was a honey lemon tea for Jyang & strawberry something something for CC. I ordered(what I assumed would be what they specialize in?) Snow: Green tea snow with red beans and a drizzle of condensed milk. I really enjoyed the honey lemon tea –especially the presentation(see photo ;) very nice! I didn’t taste CC’s drink but from the way he drank it all, it must’ve been good haha. Hmm my snow was aight. The taste was good but the texture was off. It was rough and my tongue didn’t like it lol. I’m a little upset with CC for saying its better than 302… Because I do not agree. But I will retry because I only tried it once and want to be fair.

For the first half of our visit, I was debating on giving this place either 2 or 3 stars. We were seated immediately, because this place is not crowded at all. Except they sat us in the corner where you can’t really see us so the waiter basically forgot about us. We were ready to order our food, but we weren’t even approached for our drinks order yet. After a little while, my boyfriend pretended to go to the bathroom so they would see him walk by. It didn’t work because he had to just go to the front and ask where we order. The man apologized and quickly came to take our order. About 5 minutes later, he said the mango ice cream for our brick toast wasn’t really mango ice cream. We were confused with what he meant, so he offered to give us a sample to see if we would like it. Good thing he gave us the sample, because we ended up changing our order to strawberry ice cream. The mango ‘ice cream’ was a little too icy. We ordered curry fish balls and the macaron party brick toast. The fish balls were good. I don’t know how anybody could mess up fish balls so I didn’t pay much attention to those. The brick toast is what won us over. The toast was good, but not as good as the little toast pieces inside the box. Everything on the macaron party was delicious. I was even impressed by the macarons. They were really soft and the right amount of chewy(even after being on top of ice cream).

A new establishment tucked behind Denny’s and by the golf range. Parking wasn’t the best(they roped off half the lot for valet; seriously, does anyone even utilize their services?) but wasn’t impossible. My main qualm with Sno-Crave was how little the staff seemed to know about their menu and what was not in stock. I ordered a Red Guava tea and they returned a few minutes after to say they did not receive their shipment of the syrup yet. My friend ordered a milk tea with boba and they forgot the boba. We ordered a caramel almond toast but they were out of that too. Isn’t the point of a grand opening to have everything in stock? It still felt very much like a soft opening. Something minor that bugged me though was how they seated people. The entire establishment was nearly empty but they sat a group literally right next to us, which I thought was a bit weird. Anyway, probably would’ve been a 3 star, but they still have several kinks to work out. Their boba was a bit sweet but I thought it was still yummy, which makes me optimistic about this place. I would also recommend the store to get some blinds. Not only will it keep the sun out of customers’ eyes for a few hours as the sun slowly goes down, but it should keep the restaurant cooler as well. One thing I am excited about is their close time(1−2AM).
