This is one of my favorite places to eat and drink! We went for the wonderful happy hour and found awesome food. Then we went for brunch and found more great food, plus tasty cheap mimosas. The chicken fried chicken(at dinner and breakfast) is the best I have ever had. Definitely a place to eat and eat again!

Love this place! Great food and atmosphere in the middle of downtown Round Rock. Just wish they had a better beer selection. Must try if your in the area

Yummy food. Cold beer. Service is hit or miss but food is always on point. Fried pickles are spicy but delicious! Queso is good. Good place for a casual dinner, or after a long day and you just want to relax and have a beer.

This small-town inspired addition to downtown Round Rock has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and undeniable Texas feel. Owner Michelle is usually there and is very friendly and helpful. The food is always fantastic and they are very reasonably priced so you can stop by for lunch or have a few drinks and play darts while you eat. There are giant high-def televisions mounted everywhere so sports fans won’t miss a thing while they’re enjoying a cold beer and some grub. They also recently expanded their outdoor area to include an enclosed courtyard with extra seating. I recommend the Rock Sports Bar to all Round Rock, Georgetown and surrounding area residents.

Stopped in and had some fried pickles and a few drinks. Place is set up nice, people were nice and food was good. Good stop on the downtown strip of round rock. We were exploring, happy with our stop.

First, server was wonderful… Thank you Kimberly! You are awesome! We stopped in for a quick drink after a long day of shopping and love this great little place. Everyone’s food looked delicious, but we were just looking for a snack so we had the chicken tenders & Texas toothpicks. Everything was delicious, and the chicken so tender. Next time we are in the area we will sure stop in!

I took my family here and I thought the fish and shrimp was good but my family thought it could’ve been better.

We were looking for a place for a good dirty martini. We looked on Unilocal but only the fancy places were mentioned. So we took our luck because I wanted to watch the end of a basketball game. Luckily, the manager Gino took our order and didn’t miss a step when the Mr requested a martini. My gosh this was an amazing vodka martini! He mentions that he enjoys them as well, and he made us 3 great drinks. Very nice bar. I would say a 4.5 really, but I’d rather round up. Nice curved TV on the wall, always had the good games on. Hard when there are big crowds, as there are only a few paths to walk. And only one bathroom a piece. But really, for the space that they have, it works. I prefer the casual environment, and it feels less douche-y that Quinn’s.

Solid sports bar with an outdoor patio, plenty of TV’s, easy parking, decent food, weekend brunch and weekly dinner specials. Comfortable layout, two bars, and a nice place to spend a few hours. Check the website for daily dinner specials. The weekend brunch menu has a fantastic breakfast burger that is topped with two perfectly cooked-to-order eggs. Four dollar bloodies also listed(I hear they are good) for brunch, however, 22 oz Dos is how I roll. The meatloaf dinner special reminds me of good home cooking.

I was in town for the weekend and needed to find a pub or 4 on a Saturday night. Well, this place had 4.5 stars and knew it was the place to start. I was not disappointed in any way. I was greeted very friendly by Gino and Annadette, and they made me feel right home, wonderful people that do that place a lot of justice! My food was great, the beers were just as good. I never went anywhere else and sat there the entire night. Just a GREAT place to hang out. I am so looking forward to my next visit to Round Rock, mostly to spend an evening here!

Drink prices are awesome and the atmosphere is a great spot to hang out with friends. Nice patio out back with heaters if it’s cold. Which is a nice plus. Owners are super friendly and are very attentive. Staff is super friendly as well and the bartenders know what they’re doing. Never waited more than a couple quick minutes for a drink. Good mix of ages so it’s not too rowdy or have annoying frat/sorority type of customers. Very laid back place and one of my go to downtown Round Rock spots. Great place to watch sports as there are plenty of TV’s. Food is great for a sports bar. Frito pie is good, chicken fried steak won’t disappoint, and the fajita nachos are consistently great. Comes out fast and never had a bad experience. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about their brunch and I will try it one of these days. I always stop by when I’m in the area and will remain a loyal patron!

Used a coupon from the Community Impact magazine, buy one brunch item and get a second for free, we really enjoyed the chicken fried chicken and waffle, nice crunch on the breading and super tender barnyard plump… had to say that… sorry…and a tasty omelet, pick any four of their toppings, I chose spinach, bell pepper, sausage and chorizo. The coffee and service far surpassed my expectations, our friendly waitress offered to go cups of coffee, above and beyond… me likey! Posted a video on youtube titled the rock sports bar and grill in round rock… i’d put it on Unilocal but you can’t do anything but a 10 second clip.

This place is crazy good. It’s bananas. I’d never expect a sports bar in Round Rock to nail apps and entrees spot on. I mean bulls eye. This food is f-n good. Finger licking delicious. If you make it for happy hour between 3pm-7pm they $ 3 wells and a variety of specials. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed and you’ll probably return within a week like I did. Kiara was our waitress. She was friendly, accommodating and super sweet. Michelle is the owner and came by to say hello. She’s always personable and eager to chat with customers. Like I mentioned before, The Rock exceeded my expectations and will more than likely exceed yours. Brunch on the weekends, open late night 7 days a week and consistently delivers impeccable service, delicious apps and entrees and solid at service.

I didn’t give the Rock a chance for a long time. I love Pluckers and I have a place, Cajun Pizza, where I watch my home team, the New Orleans Saints. I gave the Rock two chances and both times I was impressed. Sports Bar Checklist: –Plenty of TVs: Check –Greasy, fried food: Check –The major sports TV watching packages: Check What really made the Rock stand out for me was the food. The Chicken Fried Chicken, mac & cheese, and loaded fries were all delicious. I’ll definitely go back here.

The first time I came here was for the McGregor vs Aldo fight. I had done no prior research into the place and honestly had no idea what to expect. Fortunately, this place was a great surprise! Every time I come, I receive great service from the bartenders. They are all very attentive and friendly and even on busy nights(like on the night of a big fight), I’m always able to get service without any issues. I have eaten a few meals here and I have to say, it’s surprisingly good for bar food! Whether it’s the mac n’ cheese, appetizers, or a special for that week, I’ve always enjoyed eating the food and never found myself disappointed. There are numerous TVs here, behind the bar as well as on the opposite wall, and in the bar in the back as well, so if you’re looking to watch the game/fight you shouldn’t have too difficult of a time finding a TV to watch it on. This place has a great energy and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy a fight or game on a big night! A great crowd comes here and I’d take it over any other sports bar in the Round Rock area.

Let me say, I did not have high hopes for my brunch at a sports bar. I had a coupon(like always) so I thought it wouldn’t hurt to try(at the least it wouldn’t hurt my wallet). However, the brunch here was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the experience. We ordered and omelette with tomatoes, goat cheese, spinach, and more cheese. It was massive and delicious. Unlike a lot of restaurants they did not skimp on the goat cheese. It was a very prominent taste and created a nice creamy consistency and tang that complimented the rest of the omelette. Also, the home fries here are soooo good. They are delicious little fried cubes of potato. Nothing fancy, but they sure did taste good and provided a nice texture next to the omelette. We also ordered the Migas. It was fine but nothing special. It came with homefries though so I didn’t mind too much. If I go again, I think I’ll try the chicken and waffles. I saw them bring it out to another tables and it looked pretty good. Service was very friendly and when she delivered the food, she automatically discovered they had messed up one of our plates and immediately went back to fix it. We didn’t even have to say anything– she was just that observant! Way to go The Rock Sports Bar! Keep doing you and serving delicious breakfast!

This is an awkward sports bar. The building(room) is long and narrow. If you behave normally the majority of the TV’s will be to your back. Walking in you will find a average size bar to your left with a couple of TV’s. Four-top tables line the center and right of the floor. There are numerous TV’s mounted along the wall, with a 72″ curved TV on the back. At the very back of building is a small bar with a couple of dart boards. We popped in here for supper one evening around 1900. They have a small kitchen. I tried a couple of times to get information on it but the two bartenders/waiters working weren’t very informative. Actually every time they approached the table they were too eager to leave. Friendly but inattentive. We ordered the meatloaf(Monday special) which came with mashed potatoes and green beans, and, the reuben with mac-n-cheese. To our surprise, and delight, the food was really impressive. The meatloaf was nice and moist with a tomato sauce gravy instead of brown gravy. Definitely a winner. The mashed potatoes were fresh and topped with a nice cream gravy. The green beans were seasoned with bacon and not of the canned variety! Total score on that plate! The reuben sandwich was another winner as the sauerkraut and corned beef were the dominating flavors as opposed to the 1000 island dressing. A lot of places seem to think that the reuben needs a mound of this dressing which is kinda gross if you ask me. Not this place though. These guys put out a tasty reuben for sure. The mac-n-cheese was another delicious score. Nice and creamy with a homemade taste you’d steal for. In my opinion I think this place would work better as a social bar/lounge rather than a sports bar. Lucky for us there wasn’t a popular game on. Had there been, we would’ve had to deal with people crowded around our table yelling at the TV’s while we were trying to eat. That would not have been a good time for me. For a bar they have an impressive kitchen. I will definitely go back and tackle one of their burgers! They offer different daily specials on entrees and soups. Check the menu before you go!

This is my new Wednesday hang out spot. They’re brand shiny new. The whole interior is modern but inviting. Stone walls paired with granite style counters. Shades of black and gray with white stone… it looks good. The bartender, Geno, is fantastic. He’s funny, he’s quick, he remembers your name and really knows how to keep everyone happy. The waitresses are very nice. They seem happy and thats a big reflection on an establishment. The food is good! FYI some stuff is made in house and some isn’t. That being said the burgers are excellent. They’ve got a great chicken salad(what you’d expect. Nothing fancy here. Just quality). Not a crazy selection on drafts but it’s not all cheap crap either. Lots of TVs spaced as to not be ‘in your face’. They also have darts! If you’re alone or in a group this is a good spot to check out. This place is much more than a sports bar.
