Jim and his team were wonderful to work with. I called to get an estimate from Point Security and set up a meeting w/​someone and was told, «We don’t come to your house to talk through your needs. We can do it over the phone.» So they were out of the running. Jim took extra time to sit down with my husband (who had a litany of questions regarding security cameras and associated costs). His team was at our house the day after a decision was made on equipment, and installed quickly with minimal disruption. They were professional and genuinely concerned for our well-​being. They even came back out to upgrade one of our cameras to provide a wider view.
We had our first false alarm soon after installing and they followed up with us to see that everything was o.k., but I set it incorrectly. They reviewed how to set/​features and we haven’t had an incident since.
I can’t say enough great things about Jim and his whole team.
I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a security system with a company that’s local and truly cares about their customers.

We have worked with Jim and his team at First Call Security on several occassions now and have had great experiences each time. We have a top of the line automated home security system that I can control and monitor from my phone — which is very convenient. Being able to adjust our homes temperature, lighting, opening and closing garage doors, and arming or disarming the security while we are away is perfect. We have also purchased and mounted TV’s, and added video cameras the interior and exterior of our home! We could not say enough good things about the folks at 1^st Call, the quality of the equipment, and the customer service we received. Jim, the owner, came out and explained all of our options. His team was fast and super friendly. I love that I can control our system through an easy to use app on my phone.

I am posting this for my mother because she does not know how to use the Internet.
That being said, My mother just moved down here from Massachusetts, she was living alone and I really wanted her to have a security system. I saw this ad in the Community Impact newspaper so I gave them a call.
Jim Casper the owner went to my mothers house and explained in detail the services they can provide and all the costs associated with this service to include equipement, installation and monitoring. Since she is retired and on a fixed income this really put my mother and I at ease.
