Horrible experience multiple times at the deli, in particular getting subs at lunch time. The staff are the most non-customer service oriented invidivuals. I’ve seen them throw bread back in the storage bin violently when a customer makes a special request or change their mind. One time I was questioned if I really wanted spinach, because the bin was empty requiring the employee to go in the back and refill. Online ordering is a whole other issue. I place the order so I can have a quick lunch. Ordering ahead, only to have to wait another twenty minutes defeats the purpose. Please whatever you do, don’t question the employees about why it’s not ready.

Love the staff. There is an especially good looking fellow who always happens to be in the produce section… I tend to stay in there a little longer! The guy who makes the food is really talkative and nice… plus he makes great food! I have to remind myself to leave his station and get on with it. Have nothing but good things to say about the cashiers. Always friendly and asking to help me take my groceries to the car. If there is a backup at the registers they always get extra cashiers quickly. Only negative thing I can think of is they ALWAYS run out of rotisserie chicken. Publix has the BEST rotisserie and I feel like crying when there isn’t anymore lemon pepper. Why you gotta be like that Publix? Always a nice easy shopping experience at Publix!

I’ve shopped here for years now and it seems that the store has overall been declining. The staff are overall pretty good, especially those that have been there for a while. Some of the newer staff is not as knowledgeable and this may be due to a lack of training. However, there are some staff who easily stand in your way while you are trying to shop and have no awareness of their surroundings(and the fact you are trying to get down the aisle). I’ve also experienced an employee sweeping in the evening who would stop once he reached where I was in the aisle like he seemingly expected me to back up out of his way. Each time I was left to say excuse me and to try to move out of the employees way as not to inconvenience them. If this happened once it would be easy to forget, but when it happens multiple times in a single shopping trip it leaves you wondering. This store is convenient and is usually pretty easy to get in and out of. This publix is also usually pretty clean. The main reason I’m giving this Publix 2 stars because the food on the shelves always seems to be expired. I can’t keep count of how many times I have purchased a ton of groceries only to get home and later learn that the food I just purchased is already expired. When I use this store now I have to actively check the expiration date for every item. If I forget to do this I find myself having to take back multiple items. On the last occasion this happened the bakery acknowledged that the pies were all expired and had since been thrown away, but still they had just been out for sale the day before. This store does have potential but currently it requires a lot of effort to shop at if you don’t want to end up sick later or eating stale food.

From the pharmacy to the cashiers, this is absolutely the best grocery store in our area. Management is concerned about their customer base and responds to all requests. The pharmacy is wonderful – I even had a prescription delivered to my house in an emergency. Everyone is friendly, produce and meats are fresh. I have shopped here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

I’d actually give this Publix 3 ½ stars if that were an option. I like Publix a lot because they have a variety of items that are sometimes unavailable in my local Kroger or Wal Mart. The deli is great, everything is fresh and they do a good job helping you find something that will cater to your specific tastes. SUSHI! If I have to get sushi from a super market, more than likely it will come from Publix. It’s made fresh daily(I’ve actually been there when they make it, and they go pretty quickly) Meat department: They will cut your meat exactly how you want it. Selection: It’s almost a shopper’s paradise. You can find almost anything(within reason) here. Then why the 3(.5) stars and not 4? Well, it seems as though the employees’ moods change with the weather. When it’s raining, no one wants to be there and it shows. When it’s sunny, everyone is chipper and making conversation. However, every time I go in, there are always two or three employees doing more to impress each other, rather than help the customer. Not cool. Then when you try to get their attention, they look lost. The actual customer service desk is ok, depending on who’s manning it.

A sub. 6 minutes from order to moving on with my life? Not here. Especially when Andrew and Victor working the station are busy hitting on(an, albeit very attractive) co-worker. I stood staring at Heckle and Jeckle while they were putting on their best moves. Guys. Take it from a pro. If you are wearing a name tag, visor, and apron you probably should bow your head in disgrace and forget about the hot chick who will most likely be heading back to college in a few weeks. Anyway, Heckle reluctantly came up to me after what felt like 5 minutes of me watching him make an asshole out of himself. I ordered some Asian sub, and he kind of laughed while pulling out the empty bottle of sauce that apparently is critical in the construction of the sandwich. He looked at me and said that they were out of sauce and suggested something else. It wasn’t like I showed up at 10 pm looking to eat. I got there around 6, so you would think that they would keep up on their prep. I agreed to his other suggestion, and he looked like he was about to get busy until Jeckle had an issue with the scale while checking out the woman he had no chance with. Apparently the Batman of the deli department, Heckle ran right over to aid the other dipshit as I stood and watched the two Rhodes scholars labor over a POS scale(that requires an IQ of 48 to operate) for several minutes. I have millions of dollars of invoices to reconcile, an ERP system that needs attention, and two new software programs that I’m about to implement with my team. I don’t have time to watch two morons figure out where the ‘enter’ button is on something that they should know inside and out. I had no choice but to walk away sans sub, and figure out something else.

This is my neighborhood Publix, and I love it! From the cashiers and baggers to the meat and bakery departments, everyone is super nice and happy. I always find great deals on items I buy and the baby club is awesome. They send coupons for various stages of the babies’ life to help you with the products you need. I also use the publix app to find bogo deals and weekly specials. I recently switched to the Publix pharmacy and it is great. The pharmacist even called to see how my baby was since she was on antibiotics! This Publix goes above and beyond!

This Publix is my weekly shopping destination. Their deli counter is courteous and prompt, the bakery is tasty and they did a wonderful job on my daughter’s birthday cake in July of 2013. Produce is fresh and well stocked, however I shop on Sundays and often find specialty items that are on sale missing. I do believe this is not an isolated issue, but more standard practice. The seafood counter is friendly and well stocked, and I have had wonderful experiences with customer service there. Occasionally I have run into a checker or two… or three, who have had personal conversations with me about my purchases but that hasn’t happened in about a year. So overall I am quite pleased with this Publix. Now if they would just carry gluten free beer for my chili recipe!

The customer service department isn’t exactly their shining glory, they’re pretty slow and lazy, but their bakery is awesome. We had our wedding cake done there recently, and it was incredible. Michele(the bakery manager) and Greg(former bakery manager) managed to pull off a miracle(they made my 125 person wedding cake happen with less than 2 weeks notice). Michele knew EXACTLY what I wanted(a 90’s style Pièce de résistance), and it was fabulously flawless(and so delicious!). Huge kudos to Michele and the bakery department.

I love this Publix more than any Publix out there. I have no idea why, but this place is just amazing. It’s so spacious, the produce there is always amazing, and all the employees are really helpful. It’s a shame I don’t live next door to this Publix, but I will continue to come back whenever I’m in the area. Love this place!

Publix is usually a class act. I always look forward to my trip to the grocery store just because they make the whole experience painless. Not so with this particular publix. From the moment I entered the store, to the deli line to get my sub, to the bakery to get my sweets I had to double check the signage to make sure I wasn’t in a Kroger by mistake. The employees seemed out of it, disgruntled and overall not very friendly people. I’ve worked in the business before and I understand that not every day can be a stellar day, but you have to «fake it until you make it» for the sake of your customer. After all they are the ones who keep the lights on and a check coming into your bank account. I would have given 1 star but the sub that was made for me was so delicious it deserved a star all to itself.

This Publix is huge. Of all the Publix stores that I frequent, it’s the largest, with the largest variety of number of items. Additionally, there’s a lot more square footage, so the aisles are wider and there are more check out lanes. But, interestingly enough, there isn’t the same variety of ethnic items that the have at the Publix at the Prado. It’s amazing the difference that 10 miles makes in the size and stocking of a grocery store. The deli moves pretty fast at lunch time, with plenty of higher level(denoted by the clothes that they’re wearing) employees stepping up to get the customers served in less time. The check outs move decently fast at lunch time. They keep a good variety of express lanes and regular lanes at that time, so the people getting deli meals end up in one lane that’s really moving. #Yelp365 — 248⁄365

Sushi here is really good! I really don’t see myself writing a lot of reviews around grocery stores. This store is pretty average for a Publix. Nothing wows me and nothing is wrong. Overall a good experience each time I go. However, I am writing this review ALL for one reason. The woman who makes the sushi here is amazing. The sushi at this Publix is always super stocked with a ton of variety. There are way more options than I’ve seen at the other stores. I probably get this Publix’s sushi once or twice a week(my office is less than a mile away) and it is always fresh and delicious. She even knows to add extra spicy sauce to whatever roll I pick when I walk up. Love it!

I am aversive to the whole Kroger Plus Card thing so I usually hit Publix for my routine grocery needs. This one is often convenient for me and usually makes me happy plus I really like the little Apron Meals guy with his little plastic shower cap. But, what is the deal with the“back to the future” bananas at Publix? Publix’ bananas are always greener than the smocks that the employees wear. And it is not a seasonal supply thing either. Yesterday I passed their banana display which were greener than I was the day I smoked a cigar on a salt water fishing trip! I then drove right over to Kroger where there was a huge display of beautiful yellow bananas ranging from ready to eat now to ready to eat next week. Come on Publix. I am in your corner. But you can not expect me to plan at least 10 days in advance for my peanut butter and banana sandwich. Let’s have some spontaneity in our relationship. I might want to eat a banana tomorrow at 2. Come on be there for me!

This location moved to 1425 Market Blvd… off Holcomb Bridge, right on the east side of 400. When this store first opened, I was happy that I had another supermarket within 2 minutes driving distance of my house. Howver once it opened I started to rack up disappointments when going there. Here’s why I only give Publix two stars: 1) The Publix is smaller than the local Kroger, meaning less selection. 2) Every time I go there, the checkers are slow, not at their register, or something happens to make my checkout experience longer than it needed to be. 3) My %##*&$ Verizon cell phone doesn’t work inside the store past the checkout stands or so. Maybe that’s not Publix’s fault, but I’ll hold it against them anyway, its nice to be able to call back home if I need to check on something(hey? didn’t we already have 4 bottles of vanilla extract are you sure we need another?) 4) They are not open 24 hours like the Kroger, for goodness sake. Yes this is an issue, I DO often go to the supermarket after 9 or 10 or whenever Publix closes. They get two stars instead of one because of their delicious deli sandwiches, and their produce is often much higher quality than Kroger’s.
