I came in here hoping to get some really nice yarn for a sweater I’m knitting and was hoping to gain more information about sets of knitting needles. I did end up purchasing some yarn from the store but will never be returning the shop again. The staff is quite unhelpful and lie about the store return policies. When I came to look at the sets of needles, the clerk, Cindy told me to try a pair of of the needles before investing in the set and insisted that she would take the pair of needles back if I did not want them. Since I was treated nicely and helped very quickly I figured I would purchase the single pair of knitting needles. The next day I decided that I really didn’t need the pair of needles since I’m an occasional knitter and already had some that would suffice. I went back to the store to return the needles and was told by another lady that all needle purchases were final and could not be returned. I was quite upset to hear that I had been lied to about the return policy. There were no signs at the checkout desk stating their return policy. The only place they print their return policy is on your receipt after you make a purchase. If I had known about the policy I would not have gone through with the purchase, I wish the staff had been more honest instead of lying to make a sale. Cindy the clerk who had lied to me about being able to return the needles was there that day and did not apologize, or even try to help despite acknowledging that she lied to a customer. Both women did acknowledge that I was lied to about the return policy but did nothing to help fix the issue. The complete disrespect for their customers and treatment of customers should really give them zero stars. Avoid this yarn shop at all costs unless you enjoy being lied to and treated like trash. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

I just walked in here, and they have a beautiful selection of specialty yarns and it seems like a nice place to learn as well. Unfortunately, it seems they are very lacking in the customer service department. The person running the store was helping teach someone(the only other person in the store,) and my presence wasn’t even acknowledged. I didn’t mind at first, figuring that she would finish and then say hello and ask if I needed help(I did,) but for the 15 or so minutes I was in the store, my presence remained completely ignored. I have a young face and get mistaken for a teenager sometimes, and I was feeling bad at the time and wasn’t dressed as well as I normally would(I had just come from the doctor,) and would like to think that my appearance didn’t have anything to do with my lack of any treatment, but really, I can’t think of any other reason why you would completely ignore a customer. I’m new to crocheting, had plenty of money to spend, and have been having a health crises and it would have been nice to learn some more about crochet, perhaps sign up for a class and leave with some beautiful yarn. But instead I left feeling totally ignored, and left the store without so much as a glance. I couldn’t even buy anything if I wanted to! It’s sad, I really wanted to like this place.
