The food quality is good here, but the prices are a bit high to begin with. What makes it worse is they either charge«extra» for substitutions, or don’t allow them at all. Nearly $ 10 for a shrimp special that comes with fries and mostaccioli(like I really need both), yet they won’t let me sub bread or a pop for the pasta on Thursdays at all(other weekdays its 50 cents extra). Anyway, I’ve been a pretty steady customer(1 – 2 days a week), but I guess that makes no difference. I’ll be taking(some) of my business elsewhere for awhile, to a place that shows their appreciation a little better.

I normally do not post negative reviews but i have had my share of good and bad over the phone service and felt I needed to share this negative experience. So we used to order from here until we found out that the prices on their website are different than the prices on their menu. Which is NOT why I am giving them a 2 star rating. I have to be honest I never paid attention to the pricing before this but it is a price difference of $ 5 dollars. I was looking at the pricing after placing an order and the prices compared to their website and it did not add up… I called and asked if there was miscommunication or if there was an issue with the order I placed. We were told that the prices on their website are no longer valid because Rosati’s of Romeoville is no longer part of corporate so I was directed to their unincorporated website so I looked at those prices and they where the same. So I called back and asked if they could honor the price on their website which I was told«No it says the prices are subject to change on the website» with an bad«I don’t have time for this» attitude. If I would have been told«yes we can honor it this time but just know for next time the prices on our menu are the correct prices we apologize for the confusion» I would have been happy to keep the order and continue to order from your place of business. I am not saying that this business has bad food because they have great food. But don’t just dismiss a customer and loose a customer because your website is incorrect. Before ending the call I was returned my order and I said«this is the first bad experience I have had with you, sorry you will be loosing my business» which he replied to very quickly«sorry too hear that…» No… What can we do to change that? just a dismissal… Thank you, but no thank you. I was very generous with the 2 star rating. It was not your food it was your customer service that I will be choosing your competition.

HORRIBLESERVICE!!! I called in tonight to order a Pizza and bread sticks at 7:40pm. It only took one minute to place my order. I was told my food should be delivered within the next hour. Once 8:40pm came around I called and requested to know how much longer it will take for my food to arrive. The young lady stated it should be there«shortly.» 8:50pm hits and the food is finally delivered. The pizza was so cold the cheese wasn’t even melted anymore and the breadsticks were cold as well. I called in to speak with the manager/co-owner(Bill) who was very rude. I informed him of the situation and he stated that my order was placed at 7:51pm(although my receipt shows 19:42, for those who know military time that is 7:42pm) so my food was not late in his book. He then stated that the food was delivered over 25 minutes ago. He said he wasn’t calling my wife a liar but needed to verify with his driver when exactly it was delivered. Funny thing is I called at 8:40 requesting where my food was but per the owner my food was at my house already… makes no sense… He then said he could credit me for a free pizza for my next purchase or send a new one. I wanted neither. After a few minutes of going back and forth my wish to receive a refund was finally granted. I will be checking my account to ensure this refund goes through since he did not want to send his driver back out to pick up the cold food nor drop off my refund receipt. My family and I have been ordering from this Rosati’s for years now. By your actions today you have lost a whole household of customers. We will be calling Michael’s pizza next time.

You can just tell that everything is freshly made here. The sauce is great and certainly doesn’t come out of a can. I tend to stick to the pizza but they have so much more here and great daily lunch specials too. I have had the fried chicken and several of the pasta dishes over the years. All being very good and so affordable. They only have a couple picnic tables out front and no room to dine in. Lots of love goes into the food here and it shows. The delivery people are top notch too. ;-)

Used to order from here all the time… until one night they delivered my pizza to the wrong address and never told me(the lucky recipient called me because my receipt with all my info was still on the pizza). When it finally arrived(still no contact from Rosati’s) it was burned and cold. I’m pretty sure it’s a health hazard to give someone’s food to another party and then take it back and bring it to the correct person. I complained but they did nothing. I’ll never go back there again.
