After 3 different failed online swimsuit orders(all way too big even though I followed the size chart exactly… beware), I went to this location for the returns. They were so helpful and offered to help me with reordering. I had already done so, but decided to stay and take advantage of the sale and tried on tons of clothes. Easily the largest and nicest fitting room I’ve found. My 5 yr old daughter couldn’t get enough of watching herself dance in the huge mirrors. Weird thing, I’ve been to multiple J. Crew stores and they all seem to have the same fantastic smell. Why do they not sell it!!!

Best personal stylists in the company. Go see jill, nada, Brian. Always more than happy to help out whenever possible. There’s usually pretty good deals going on in store. Much better than the other locations nearby, so this one is highly recommended as opposed to el segundo. The store is large and they carry flats and tennis shoes in store. They don’t carry cashmere but it can be easily ordered with free shipping plus promotional pricing in the store! Check them out!

Shockingly restrictive return policy. I received a gift with labels attached and J Crew symbols on the item. I tried to return it(within days of receiving it) as it didn’t fit correctly, but unfortunately wasn’t given a gift receipt or the original receipt. The associate and manager refused to complete the return without a receipt or the original credit card used for purchase, even though the exact item was in their store, listed for regular price. I could get neither cash nor credit(in even a discounted amount).

I love J Crew. I love their style. I love the bright colors. The clothes are very well-made. This particular store doesn’t always have the most stuff, but I can usually find what I need. The staff is very friendly. Many of the people have worked here for a long time so they definitely know what they are doing. Big, bright store. Organized and clean. This is my go-to J Crew :) J Crew is a little pricey, but teachers and college students can get 15% off their entire purchase. This works on sale items too. Sometimes they try to tell you that the discount doesn’t work on sale items, but I read the small print. ITDOES!

In Palos Verdes mall. Great to find some deals that others J Crew don’t have

I would never review a J. Crew, but there is a secret to this one. Every time i go back to my parent’s place, I try stop by. Usually the men’s sale selection and prices are reasonable and sometimes a steal. Careful on the quality, somehow i feel it’s hit or miss.

I used to be a big fan of J. Crew about 10 years ago but as I mentioned in my quick tip, their whole men’s clothing line took a turn for the worst a few years ago. It seemed to be around the time they became a publicly traded company; not sure if that is coincidence or not. The clothes just don’t look that crisp and sharp anymore. Everything is made to look broken in, faded, or is just plain wrinkled. That’s ok for a t-shirt or hoodie here and there, but not the entire collection, especially the«dress shirts» if you can call them that. J.Crew used to make nice looking clothes that could be called«preppy»(but not in a derogatory way). I used to love getting the catalogues in the mail and seeing what was new, as well as wishing I could be living it up in the Hamptons or Martha’s Vineyard as their models appeared to be. Not anymore. The clothes now look like they are trying too hard to be casually cool, even hipster, but it just looks sloppy. For God’s sake, this is the company that provided the wardrobe for Dawson’s Creek at one time. Worst of all, the prices have shot up while the quality and look have moderately declined. Thankfully I found Land’s End and LL Bean. They both have excellent quality at fair prices, and you won’t look like you passed out underneath a pier when you wear their clothes. RIP J. Crew of 1998 – 2005 p. s. this review is for the company and their products. i have always liked this location and would give it and its staff 5 stars. but a 1 star for J. Crew as a whole plus 5 for the PV store brings it to 3 stars.

J. Crew is doing some nice stuff these days. Good fabrics from Thomas Mason and Loro Piana. Attractive shoes from Alden, Sperry, and Red Wing. Too bad you won’t find any of it at this store. That, and they don’t stock XS. =(
