I needed a change, & found Felix Salon on Unilocal.
After a thorough consultation… Sherry took my color from blah to beautiful. She’s warm & friendly and what I appreciated was that she took her time… I did not feel rushed. And she gives a great shampoo! The salon has a great energy and is sunny and bright. The front desk gal isn’t the friendliest., I did not feel welcomed by her on arrival or departure. Robin, the owner, cut my hair. He has a great energy and I’ll have to see how my cut feels in a couple weeks to truly know if I love it. But all in all, I’ll be returning!!!

Amazing! We just moved to the area and were walking by, and my teenager wanted a haircut. They took us right away, and she got the most amazing, sassy cut ever! We’ll definitely be back!

Have you visited this new rocking SALON? It is so awesome. Best of the best! Great team of stylist– very accommodating with fitting you into getting your hair done as needed. I started using Pyhto a few months back– incredible product! Highly recommend the pills for hair growth and nails works! Super clean, modern, and great products! Coco has been doing my hair recently as well as Robin! They rock

$ 50 for a simple straight blow dry? Wow. That makes about as much sense as paying $ 10 for a cup of coffee. Perhaps their other skills are worth it (other prices quoted over the phone seemed about average in comparison to other salons) but I would never pay $ 50 for someone to blow dry my hair straight. I’ve had red carpet updo’s that included blowdry which were cheaper. Sorry, but my conscious would rather I buy a family in need some dinner with those funds than to blow it away.

I love this salon so much. It’s beautiful inside, peaceful and so nice. My stylist is amazing. I love her so much that I don’t want to post her name, because sh is MINE! Lol. I have super curly hair, difficult to cut and Stacey hooks me up with an amazing cut every time. Yes, I shared her name! I feel so lucky to have found her! Been going to her since the old location.

Going to Felix Design Studio in Palos Verdes is like going to the best salon in any large city without the hassle. The expert stylists and colorists make for a very relaxing atmosphere. I love the full line of Phyto products. They are amazing. Each one is designed for a particular hair type. And the staff are so terrific!

Very friendly and personable staff with excellent technique. My first experience was the best I’ve ever had at a hair salon. Jessica and Robin are top notch.

The salon gets 5 stars and Stacy gets 10. The staff is all super friendly. The new location is beautiful and convenient, and the products they use are natural and wonderful for my hair. The owner, Robin, is very into keeping up with the latest techniques and trends, so there is a lot of professional development for all of the stylists to ensure that they are all fabulous. But Stacy is the absolute best. Her skill with color is perfection. She has absolutely transformed my hair from dull brown to beautifully colored using a great mix of balayage and highlights. She is the best!

Extremely botched balayage/​ombré, charged to get it fixed, average salon at best for color. Had to get an extreme color correction from another salon in Beverly Hills. Nice people, great atmosphere, but not recommended for anything other than very basic services. I wish I had known before the nightmare.

Wow can’t believe I haven’t written a review of Felix Design Studio yet. I absolutely adore this Salon. I have seen Sandy regularly for over a year now and my most recent visit I had Jessica. The attention to the client is what I truly appreciate about this Salon. Everyone is so friendly and really cares about giving you the best experience possible. I have had pretty much everything done from highlights to lowlights, allover color, trim, layers etc. Every experience is better than the last.
I first found out about this Salon when a good friend of mine who works for Ok Magazine was holding an event at the previous location in Palos Verdes. Since then the Salon has moved inside the Silver Spur Peninsula Mall it’s great! You can get a Starbucks right next door and shop afterwards all without moving your car.
I can’t wait for my hair to grow so I can get another hair cut!

I’ve been with the same hair stylist for over 20 years, and was not able to get a time. I live in PV, and needed a haircut badly so I did a walk-​in. I was very lucky, as Stacy agreed to fit me in. I was so happy with the job she did, I am now exclusively going to Stacey. Since then, my wife and two daughters are also on the bandwagon.

love this salon– feels like I in Beverly Hills without the commute– Robin has been doing my hair for years and extensions. Absolute satisfied not only by how personable he is but the color, price and quality. I wouldn’t and couldn’t imagine anyone else touching my beautiful Goldie locks. Trust me you’d never be disappointed. He has awesome stylist– up to date with his training. Offers wine, coffee and scones as you wait not to mention catered food.

I dreamed I went to Beverly Hills & came home looking like Jennifer Lawrence.
In reality, I only had to drive a few minutes up to the peaceful PV Hill and I don’t look EXACTLY like J-​Law cuz I’m too damn old.
Yesterday I got haircut and color done by Robin, owner of Felix. All the great Unilocal reviews lured me to this salon.
In an attempt to keep this review short & sweet, like my sassy new hairdo, let me just say that Felix is a bright & welcoming & friendly salon with beautiful views of local greenery and tons of free street parking.
I had so much fun chatting with Robin, his assistant Jessica, and others at the salon… that I kinda hated to leave.
So I already booked my next appointment.
Heads up: Robin is a popular guy so one must book well in advance.

I’ve been following Stacey around for years! Every time I leave I have an amazing cut. I can never make up my mind, so I let her do her thing and I always walk out to nothing but compliments! I even got my bf to start seeing her!

This was my first visit and everyone made me feel so welcomed! Spray Chambers was so nice and so helpful, she really made my visit beyond enjoyable. Chatting with Felix about the Kings just made it that much better. :)

The Salon: Clean, beautiful, large windows, and in a great neighborhood. Plenty of parking and it’s easy to find!
Service: Truly exceptional. Everyone there is friendly and the best part is, they are all friends! They chat and laugh and it makes for a great environment to just relax and feel happy. :) I’m always offered tea or water before I start my haircut and you I can always count on a good conversation too.
Hair cuts, Robin, & my experience: I rarely give 5 stars, but this place really deserves it. I used to have long hair down to my waist (about 6 years ago) and Robin always helped me trim up the dead ends and give me nice clean cut. When I finally got the guts to chop off 15 inches to donate and get a bob cut, Robin was the one to make it all worthwhile! We did an asymmetrical A-​line bob and my hair was literally the talk of the town. (I swear, it was almost 1 compliment a day!)
Then I just got addicted to changing my hairstyle, or more like, I got addicted to going to Robin, closing my eyes and saying, «Do what you think is best.» From there, I did a pixie cut, highlights, and now he’s helping me grow it back out into a stylish shoulder length bob.
Long story short, Robin can do exactly what you want, but if you’re brave enough, let him take the reigns because he can tell, with your hair thickness, color, and face shape, what will look best one you!

Katherine Lewis=Hair Whisperer
Moving to Denver, one of the hardest things for me was leaving the person I trusted most with my hair. Katherine is so talented. She has taken me from dark brown to blonde, installed extensions on me (she specializes in DreamCatchers Hair Extensions), you name it and my hair still maintains its integrity that it has had since day one, which is unheard of for a blonde with extensions! I highly recommend her to anyone not only for her talent, but her amazing personality. Katherine will not at all make you feel uncomfortable, infact she makes you count down the days to your next service with her (especially the part where she washes/​massages) your head. I referred a guy friend of mine to her because she also specializes in men hair cuts and Ive never seen his hair look better. The salon also has a great atmosphere and friendly staff!
