I went here for lunch, very«hangry» I was not sure what to eat. My server was Richelle who was super friendly and totally helpful with helping me decide what to eat. I got a salad that was so tasty and fresh, If you go there to eat make sure to ask for her table! I also met Jessica who is one of the managers who came to my table and asked me if my meal and experience is okay which I thought is amazing customer service. She has an awesome sense of humor and made me feel right at home.

We randomly stopped in here for breakfast over the weekend while we were in town. We lucked out and didn’t have a wait. The staff was always around to check on us and refill our cups. I had the spicy turkey scramble with fruit and toast and loved it. The fruit was cut up nicely with a great mix and ripe, juicy delish! The scramble was really good. It definitely had that jalapeño spice to it. We also had a mimosa which was great and def didn’t skimp on the champagne. Overall a super solid breakfast spot. If i lived in the area I would come here way more often. And a bonus for all the mama’s there — changing table in the men’s bathroom too! Let dad put in some diaper changing duties!

Service was great! Dining area and restrooms very clean. Food bland. Not flavorful at all. Neither of us are picky eaters and love trying new things. It’s rare that we do not like something. I had the Loco Moco and my daughter ate French toast(which she didn’t like either).

They need to get their Friday morning breakfast game in order. I came in at 7:20. Three people looked through the window to see me and my wife had come in and had a seat. Fully realizing at Hermosa you are always greeted. About seven minutes later one waiter came to see if another couple was ready to order. Not even bothering to say they will be with us in a moment. No water. Too slow for weekday breakfast. I asked my wife if I was being fair. She said yes and to add nobody was in the restaurant. Every single person was in the kitchen despite three tables being occupied.

This is my first time at this Good Stuff location and what a great atmosphere! Tonight we had the blackened chicken pasta — yum! Now on to service, our server Ashley made our visit complete! She was so fun, friendly, and attentive! The manager, Tadeo, stopped by our table just checkin in — he was awesome as well! What awesome service! Will return soon!

That moment when you open the huge menu and you literally can’t decide what to get because EVERYTHING is your taste. From protein breakfast plates, to hot melted sandwiches, to your health-conscious quinoa dishes, Good Stuff truly embodies comfort food with your calories in mind. First off, the interior decoration of this place is great — very new and rustically modern. The crafty driftwood artwork above the round black iron chandeliers contrasts very beautifully with the blue walls and modern seating booths, making it feel like a beach house with a contemporary twist. As if the interior design wasn’t already impressive, the menu was HUGE and each dish I read sounded better than the last! Our waitress took three tries before we finally decided what to order! I have nothing but good things to say about the selection, you’ll surely find something suited for every taste palette. We ordered the Chile Verde Burrito and the Turkey Bacon Melt(not turkey-bacon, turkey AND bacon!). Service was SO fast and both plates came out piping hot within 5 minutes, which was perfect. My generous side of thinly sliced sweet potato fries was unforgettable, and came with a side of ranch. In total, the meal was $ 27 inclusive of the 18% tip. I really love the vibe of this place. It’s a lovely place for brunch with a lot of natural lighting and the biggest plus was the choices in the menu. I can’t wait to come back and try the skillet scramble!

I love their breakfasts/brunches! Perfect customer service. They also have this rewards program which I have used it once, they will give you a 25 $ gift card you can use towards everything.

Probably the best place to go for breakfast in Palos verdes. The menu isn’t the best or most varied but it’s decent enough. The staff has always been friendly and the ambience has a modern yet comfy feel to it. Overall, good food for a good price One word of caution however, it can get packed on the weekends.

This new Good Stuff location is so cool! I love the décor and the food. Excellent breakfast and lunch menu. I stopped going to the Redondo Beach location because the food quality was going downhill in a noticeable way. I hope this PV Mall location can keep up the good work.

I’ve been here a few times, and every experience has been solid/good. As a beach cities guy, I’ve enjoyed other Good Stuff locations for many years — and this location keeps up the tradition. This latest restaurant is thriving, it’s located at the Promenade on the Peninsula, which is a quaint mall in Palos Verdes. I think I’ve visited 4X, and I’ve never been when there hasn’t been a wait — which is the result of good food and service. Mind you, the tables seem to turn fast, so a 15 minute wait is not too bad. The staff is all super friendly, from what I can tell most everyone has a Palos Verdes heritage, which you can feel in their smile and friendliness. The food is good, I like their black-n-blue burger, B+. My daughters like the idea that they serve breakfast all day long! They also have a decent wine & beer selection. For those that need distractions, they have a few television monitors which are generally tuned into whatever sporting event is on. On my recent visit I had Gaby the server and she was plenty helpful in assisting our table, we had a good experience. I had a minor check discrepancy, which had everything to do with the array of people assisting our table — this is actually a positive. I noticed the issue once I got home and called Manager Colleen, who was understanding, and most helpful in rectifying what had occurred. Kudos to both Colleen and Allura(s/p?) who understand what ‘customer satisfaction’ means. Good stuff is indeed GOODSTUFF, I look forward to my next visit.

Since my last review, I’ve been to good stuff Restuarant twice more. And every time I have been even more impressed & pleased with the amazing customer service they gave me. Just tonight I went there with my family. My kids were so tired after a long day & super active & obnoxious. Paige was our server. She was super sweet & attentive. I kept apologizing for the mess my kids had made & everytime she made me feel so comfortable & was very understanding. She said she has a little brother herself & so she totally understands! We ordered the mac & cheese for the kids, burmandi platter & cod fish taco for us. All dishes were delicious & tasty. We got our food very quickly & she even brought the kids food earlier which was perfect. Last time before today, I went there, our waitress was Cory & she was super sweet as well. I highly recommend this Restuarant & will be definitely going back :)

Oh yeah, that’s the good stuff right there! After a couple of hours hiking up the Del Cerro trails, we came to Good Stuff to fuel our bodies. To a wonderful surprise the menu had plenty of healthy dishes. Jones’n for an Omelette:(get it? They are clever!) The perfect balance of healthy protein, fats and carbs. California Wrap: sliced turkey, not deli meat slices, crispy bacon, generous portion of avocado. So good. And the sweet potato fries, I couldn’t stop eating it! Friendly people working in there. Our server was awesome. Brought us condiments and salsas, and refilled our drinks without us having to ask. That is the kind of service I truly appreciate and should be acknowledged. I’m looking forward to my next visit already!

So… PV area has a pretty good brunch spot after all! I’m happy Good Stuff opened up in the area. I liked the place because… 1) The wait wasn’t crazy like a lot of popular LA brunch spots. Thank goodness for this. :) 2) Service was super friendly. 3) The place is open, simple, and clean. 4) Food was delicious. 5) They leave out variety of jelly, jam, marmalade, and preserves. 6) Parking was no issue at all at this mall. Good stuff… I’ll be back…

Good Stuff Restaurant in the Promenade is the newest outpost of this South Bay dining chain. It is conveniently located by the fountain near the parking garage. I thought that the restaurant would be bigger than it is — it looked like they were taking over a huge floor plate — and they do have a banquet room. But, the restaurant itself has two rows of tables that run the length of the with a row across the back and a patio with two rows of tables. It may sound good sized, but it is PACKED! On Saturday at 11:45AM, the wait was 25 minutes, and it was at least as long when we left after lunch at 1:15PM. The restaurant is new, so it is sparkly and clean. This outpost has a very modern feeling — black and stainless finishes throughout. The staff is friendly but a little frenzied with the huge number of people coming to this new eatery. GS is a diner — not gourmet but tasty, American food. It is a welcome addition to the hill, because we have had a void in the diner department. DM had the enchiladas topped with eggs with salad instead of potatoes. The ground turkey enchiladas in tomatillo sauce were mild but flavorful, and the over medium eggs were perfectly cooked. It is a protein packed breakfast. I ordered the Olé Chicken Caesar($ 12 for«dinner» size). Chopped romaine is tossed in a seasoned(not at all spicy) Caesar dressing with grated Parmesan, pepitas and about 5 tortilla strips and topped with a paillard of grilled chicken breast that is well seasoned. It was a delicious salad — not unusual but a little more interesting than your typical Caesar. The menu is huge, and everything — BLD — is available all day. I will definitely be back, and I am glad to have GS on the hill.

Really nice staff. Very attentive and quick. However one of the greasiest breakfasts I’ve had in awhile. Felt very sick afterwards. Ordered the eggs, sausage, toast and hashbrown combo. Smothered in oil, and sausage was low quality barely heated up. Will not be going back.

Good Stuff has brought some much needed excitement to the PV area and I’m glad to have another option on the hill. The environment and service at Good Stuff are a clear 5 — the staff is super courteous and are constantly checking to ensure you are having a good time. The décor is casual but trendy and it’s a nice place to grab dinner with friends. The food that I have tried thus far was good but nothing extraordinary. I had the chili as well as the nachos. Both items hit the spot in the moment but neither was particularly craveable. The menu is good in that there are a broad range of offerings and I can imagine people with different taste still being able to enjoy a meal here. I will definitely be coming back to Good Stuff but likely more because of its location, ambiance and the overall experience than because of any particular interest in menu items!

I’ve been eating at Good Stuff ever since they first handed in Hermosa Beach. And, that location was always my favorite, at least until now. Their new space in PV is very nice. To begin, the last business to inhabit where this restaurant is now located was an art gallery. So, to redesign the space as a restaurant could not have been cheap. But, they did a great job. This location has a similar vibe to the other Good Stuff’s but it also has its own unique character. One example is that they have windows that lift similar to that of a garage door. Great touch. The booths and the tables are well spaced and they have a nice outdoor patio. This Good Stuff is located in a mall so there is plenty of parking. The thing to keep in mind whenever you plan to eat at Good Stuff is that this restaurant chain has a lot of fans. So, it can get pretty crowded and there can be a long wait. So far, at this location, I have been immediately seated each time I arrived and that’s a good thing. But, I have noticed some people waiting when I leave. So, keep this fact in mind. Also, most likely due to the number of customers, getting your food can take some time at Good Stuff. So, be prepared to possibly wait a bit longer than you may expect to begin eating after you have ordered. I’ve noticed the owner of the chain hanging out and helping out at this location. I imagine that is to make sure this new location is moving in the right direction. He’s a nice and friendly guy. He obviously moved some of his experienced staff from the Redondo(and possibly other) locations to make the opening here as pain free a possible. At this location, like the other ones, the staff is very friendly but, in all honesty, sometimes they are not very aware of what is going on at their tables; i.e. you may not get a coffee refill as frequently as expected and they may not return to ask if everything is AOK and so on. This is not a criticism, just letting you know what to expect. Overall fun new space. Check it out.
