Starbucks

Changed employees. Which is sad because the other employees knew me by name and knew my order. Now I wait over 10 minutes for a mediocre burnt tasting coffee. Will be finding a new favorite location. Or sadly I’m becoming a big Peetes coffee fan.

This is one of the most average Starbucks I’ve been too. The employees aren’t friendly, yet they’re not mean. The store is not immaculate but not dirty either. The drinks aren’t exceptionally good, actually my veinte salted caramel hot chocolate is a little more tasteless than usual, but not bad enough to put it down a star. They’re starting to close up already 2 and a half hours early which is slightly annoying. Compared to other Starbucks I would say that this location is a little understaffed. However for a mom and pop coffee shop the amount of staff would be normal. Just your run of the mill Starbucks.

So much has changed… sort of. but good enough to update my review.
It’s much cleaner, the employees are accommodating with «difficult» orders and I no longer loathe coming to this location.
One small request to the fellow Starbucksters, do not gather around the pick-​up bar like it is a watering hole.
There are plenty of people who ordered before you and they stand clear of the bar to let others grab their drinks.
I don’t like to behave rude by dropping my «excuse me» to «can you move out of my way»…so just be mindful of others that have waited before you.

convenient starbucks in rockville… i was craving something with eggs (or protein) and found this starbucks on Unilocal and decided to order something using my trusty starbucks app. i placed an order for a reduced-​fat turkey bacon sammy, and drove 3 – 4 min to the store. i walked inside, a fairly small storefront, located the pickup counter, and informed one of the baristas that i was looking for my online order. she confirmed my name and handed me my order… hot and fresh! i grabbed a napkin and headed out. easy peasy. thanks starbucks, for having a convenient location and processing my order so quickly!

This is by far the worst Starbucks. There sense of urgency is lacking. They don’t have any of the holiday drinks written/​displayed anywhere.

very clean place, every time i went there the series is good and they give me exactly what i order. it’s nice to seat with your friend for a good coffee

All I order every single time is an iced coffee, sweetened, with milk. It’s not hard. Yet they seem to mess up my order countless times. It wasn’t even busy when I went in the morning. Is it really that hard to make an iced coffee?

This is the Starbucks that is most conveniently located close to my place of work so naturally I would stop here for a coffee break. It just so happens that it is a really good Starbucks.
I have been coming here since 2006 and somehow astonishingly not one single time was my drink ever made incorrectly, and my specific drink is a complicated one to make: and iced venti two pump white mocha with whole milk and whipped cream.
The attentive and friendly employees are always hard at work and eager to assist you. Not a single person here ever looks tired on the job or has that expression on their face like they don’t want to live or like they hate their job.
Mark (his full name I believe is Marcus Muffin) does and outstanding job of taking out the trash each evening. Monica of the Dominican Republic always puts a smile on the customers’ faces should those smiles ever be missing. Amadeu keeps everything neatly organized and professional– looking and he always greets me with a friendly face. Tao makes my drink really delicious always but all these people do as well and I will always come back.

BoOOOoOo! This location is the most inconsistent of all of the Starbucks I’ve visited. Also, today, I ordered an Iced Coffee with light 2%, and I guess the cashier didn’t make note of it, and the barista put a ton of milk in the coffee. I politely stated, «I’m sorry but I asked for light 2%.» She huffed and puffed, and said «light milk can mean different things too different people» while she made my drink. I let it go. She didn’t even sweeten the coffee like I asked because she was so upset. There is a reason I go to the one North of this spot. Better management I suppose. Terrible customer service!!! There is a reason I tell my coworkers not to go to this location. Drinks are made half fast too

Shopping for the right gift can be exhausting. So, I decided to go for a coffee to energize the weary shopper. I entered the shop and had my mind made up on a Carmel brûlée. Unfortunately, they were out of that drink, so the barista recommended the chestnut praline. He said if I didn’t like it, he would substitute something else. How could I pass that up? It was love at first sip. The whipped cream floating on top of the warm nutty liquid. The pralines added the perfect amount of sweetness. I finished it in a few minutes and was ready to finish my shopping. Fabulous service and pleasant staff made my day. I am now hooked on a new coffee flavor. I am sure to add money to my Starbucks gift card. There is nothing more delightful on a cold winter day. So, stop by Starbucks and get rejuvenated for the New Year! Enjoy! My 100 th review for 2014. A sweet way to end the year.

Quaint Starbucks location in the corner of congressional plaza. Busy location with limited seating inside. right outside the door though is ample outdoor seating and on NICE days im sure its great. :) Staff is professional, courteous, and efficient. If the coffee was free it would be a full 5 stArs! ! Haha! Enjoy!

Super slow service on early weekday mornings (7 AM). It shouldn’t take 10 minutes total to order and get a drink when there is no line.
By midday parking is a mess – you are better off going up the Pike to Wintergreen plaza, between Edmonston and Wooton.

I’m in here too often and the staff is great. Love them. Otherwise it’s your typical Starbucks.

Very nice and friendly baristas. Very enjoyable place to sit and do some work on a Saturday morning. Can get busy especially during shopping weekends because of the surrounding businesses.

I used to really like this Starbucks. I would even pass other Starbucks on the pike to get here. Then today I went in and was just shocked by the ineptitude of the staff.
It took 15 minutes from the time I placed my order until my drinks were ready… and the store was nearly EMPTY! Rather than making my drink, the Barista loudly complained to another coworker about how their manager asking them to «clean» all the time was the reason they could never close on time. Then she proceeded to take 15 minutes to make an Americano! Literally all she had to do was push the button and add hot water!
Starbucks needs to clean house here. The store was filthy, ironic given the complaints of the Barista, and the staff was worthless.

The service here is beyond awesome. I’ve never had a problem and the employees are super nice and cheerful every time I stop in. I enjoy coming to this Starbucks, It deserves Five stars all the way :)

yes a starbucks. what s so special about this out of all other millions of places. should i say, the view out on to rockville pke nothing special but at night… it looks nice. with pendant lamps around the big windows that cover two sides of the shop. did i mention fire place? yes it has it. imagine sitting in a couch by the fire place by the bigggg windows under yellowy pendant lamp. you want more. add snow or rain. snow would be best. for that reason, this place is worth being mentioned on
