My wife and I worked with Matt Sines at FitzGerald Mortgage as we were in the process of purchasing our first home. Matt was excellent to work with and helped us each step of the way. As we were first-​time home buyers, we had a lot of questions, and were unsure of many details. Matt was very helpful in clarifying things for us, and was always available to answer our questions. My wife and I wanted to look at various options and see how the numbers change between 30 yr, 20 yr, 15 yr, and ARM loans. We also wanted to see how things change between putting more or less down up front. Matt was very quick to work out all of these options for us and sent us all of our options via email. We were able to clearly see what we wanted to do and go from there. Communication was consistently quick and painless. Even after our home purchase, I had reached out to Matt to ask him to forward me an Amortization schedule. Matt was quick to do this and made himself available to clarify any questions for us.
Buying a home for the first time is not easy. Working with the right lender is crucial. We were fortunate to meet Matt and have him guide us through this whole process. We are now very happy home owners. The process with Matt was seamless and painless. Almost everything was electronic. Matt is clearly dedicated to his work and prioritizes his clients. We are very happy to have worked with him and will definitely do so in the future.

Throughout the process, Matt made himself available to us — by phone, in person, by email, including during nights and weekends and at short notice. The home buying process is nerve wracking and unsurprisingly we had a ton of questions (including a few we needed to walk through a couple of times before totally understanding). Matt fielded our questions expertly and patiently every time.
Matt has years of experience working with home buyers in the DMV. He knows the market, the players, the neighborhoods, and his product. We always felt like we were in good hands with Matt. You will too.

Excellent service, loan officers, processors and underwriters. The mortgage industry in general sucks right now but monarch/​Fitzgerald financial have found a way to insulate the customer from all the changes in the industry and continuing to provide competitive loan products and excellent/​prompt service. As a realtor, having a reliable loan officer that I can recommend to my clients is integral to my success, and Matthew sines at monarch has been my guy for years and I will continue to send clients his way because of the responsiveness, knowledgeability and attentiveness that he brings to every deal. Rick Raimond was incredible to work with. I felt his knowledge was truly top notch. Refinancing is a rather lengthy process, but he helped me stay on top of the countless documents and steps along the way. Avoid these people like the plague — their shenanigans are beyond belief. They pull all kinds of tricks to try to get your business, and the network of appraisers they use as part of their mortgage process are incompetent beyond description (feel free to contact me for details/​specifics, if you are interested).
