Diversified Financial Mortgage

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Do not trust this company with your home purchase and do not trust them if someone that’s purchasing your home is using them! For 3 weeks they (their «mortgage specialist» Scott Berry) told us everything was in order and going great when the potential buyers of our home were using them to obtain a mortgage. As it got closer to closing day, they stopped responding to all of the agents involved in the transaction (as well as the agents of the transactions down the line that this sale affected). The NIGHT BEFORE settlement, at 8 PM, we got the call that they needed more documentation. I’m talking a laundry list of items that were outstanding that they hadn’t even mentioned prior to then! Settlement was postponed for 5 days. Again — the NIGHT before we got word that there were still some outstanding issues that needed to be addressed. Then two days later they decided they wouldn’t provide financing due to an issue with the appraisal, of which they had in their possession for WEEKS. This has cost an insane amount of grief and thousands of dollars for us as the sellers, as well the buyers and the other families affected by this sale falling through. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE!
