Does an ok job but as soon as you have a problem they suddenly claim they can’t speak English anymore. I should coin the phrase «you complain we forget English syndrome»

I love this cleaners! I started going here because of the price on shirts. 5 or more on Thursdays for 99 cents a shirt. They have since raised it to $ 1.25/shirt which disappointed me but it still is cheaper than other places. I just got some pants back that were perfectly altered. They have never lost any of my things.

I had been using this business for over six months, but will not be returning. One time they lost my order. Despite the inconvenience, they were able to find it a day or two later. However, the reason why I will not be returning no matter how cheap their service for shirts is that upon picking up an order, I noticed that one sleeve was still dirty. I brought this to the attention of the staff, and was informed that they tried, but that it will have to be cleaned again next time? Ah no – if an item isn’t clean at the time of pickup the cleaner should offer to clean it again. They made this my problem, lost my business, and now I will be looking for a new cleaner that can do the work right the first time.

Courtesy Custom Cleaners is my go to place for not only dry cleaning services, but alterations as well. The staff is great and the owners are super friendly. In a hurry to get your garments back? They offer one day service for dry cleaning and a rush service for alterations. I believe they also offer pick up and delivery services.
Prices here are super competitve. I’ve taken dress shirts here to get dry cleaned, and pants and dresses to get altered. They also do a great job with the alterations and the shirts are always nicely pressed/cleaned…I never leave disappointed! What’s nice is that the lady who does all the alterations is now on site (this used to be done in their DC shop), so now I’ve gotten my clothes back sooner.
The owners don’t speak English too well, so you do need to make sure that you clearly state what needs to be done. Other than that, Courtesy Custom Cleaners is a great place.
BTW: They offer a dry cleaning special on Thursdays (3 for the price of 2).
