Panorama Gardens Pizzeria & Restaurant

Ok, I do not usually hand out five star reviews. But, wow. I cannot even tell you how much I loved this place. I ordered using Unilocal’s eat 24 order out system and everything went off without a hitch.
I have to say that if you order anything from here, and i do not care what, you also must include the homemade meatballs as an appetizer. These meat balls with the sauce they came in was one of the best single things I have ever tasted. I am still gushing about how good this was 2 days later.
The pizza was unbelievable. The crust was perfect with little crumbles that come off as you rub the bottom. it was crunchy and soft at the same time. This was absolutely done to a science and few others have ever been close. My daughters both agreed also and they are not that easy to please.
We will be ordering from here again, and certainly for my daughter’s birthday in August which will be at the RVC Rec center. We have to share the joy of this pizza.

Order seamless delivery and it showed up on time and hot! Ordered their pizza and pasta special. Pizza was delicious and thin. The spaghetti and meatballs were delicious! The value of the family special was very good. Will definitely be ordering from them again!

05/​06/​2016 — I am editing this response to add exactly what I attempted to eat: «Pistachio Crusted Tilapia» — bottom line is that it was FISH
I «try out» restaurants using
Gift Certificates and then I go back if the food was good. Their pizza is GREAT but don’t order anything else. I ordered «Pistachio Crusted Tilapia» and it was slimy and smelly — I just couldn’t eat it.
I ordered a juice but couldn’t drink because I watched the person make it with no gloves — just his bare hands. I wouldn’t be going back here
Garlic knots had no garlic, no taste and was raw on the inside and served with Olive Oil :/

Food is always great. I recommend the pizza and also the entrées are really delicious.

I can’t see what all the fuss is about. First off the place is tiny, with four or five tables directly across from the counter. The food is nothing special, either. My party had eggplant parm, pizza, and ravioli. The eggplant was a smallish portion, cut paper thin. It tasted fine, but nothing beyond pizza parlor quality. The pizza would have been good, but the crust reminded me of supermarket frozen variety. As for the ravioli, they were fresh out of the box, not homemade. The portion was adequate, but the sauce tasted like the pizza sauce, which it probably was.
Next time I’m in the neighborhood, I think I’ll go across the street and try Mother Kelly’s. If it’s even half as good as the one that had been in Cedarhurst, it will still be twice as good as Panorama Gardens. Sorry for the lackluster review, but I need to be honest.

This place is sooooo good. My second time around was even better. The staff are so nice. Food good and fresh. I loved everything. Definitely a repeat customer. Would recommend this spot

Food was great! The man who took care of us, John, was so nice and attentive. Nice portion sizes and very accommodating. Would definitely return.

I’ve order lunch from here 3 times so far. I work in Freeport and order through GrubHub whose ‘crystal ball’ usually estimates them later then they show up (Which is awesome cause I’m hangry in the morning and the sooner I’m fed the better). My favorite are their fresh juices, the Detox is my favorite so far. The Sugar Fighter was okay but I should have known I wouldn’t be wowed given that I am not big into beets.
The lentil soup is almost as good as my mom’s (don’t ever tell her I said that).
The salads are fresh and the protein portions are plentiful.

Went here with my family yesterday. The food is one of the freshest I’ve eaten. Really courteous owner and just delicious meal. I would have given 5 stars but the place can use a little bit of décor. Other than that, I am going again with friends…

Used a groupon… had the chicken portabello… dish was tasty, although I was still hungry after I finished the chicken and veggies, but good food and service!

Great pizza and healthy choices as well!!! Juices, salads and more! The crust on this pizza is so good. And there is a fresh mozzarella slice available sometimes! So good!

Love this place! Everything is delicious and Nunzio’s tiramisu is delicious! Staff are so friendly

I really wanted to like this place. The pizza was good, not the Best I’ve ever had but good. The owner was really sweet. Came over several times to make sure everything was OK. I immediately knew that I wasn’t going to fall in love with panorama when I first walked in. Change the wood paneling on the walls to perhaps bricks and perhaps Wear white pants white shirt with an apron instead of regular street clothing. You know the saying you can only make your first impression once, and this place just didn’t have that pizza feel to it. But again pizza was pretty good.

The food here leaves a lot to be desired. The Sicilian crust is stale. Staff is pretty unfriendly as well. Take your business to one of the many other superior pizzeria’s in the area.

Best pizza in RVC hands down. Great sauce, crust and cooked perfectly. Their pasta dishes are spectacular. Beats the generic pizza places in town with the same basic flavored food. They also are extremely friendly, which you certainly do not see at most other pizza places in town.

This place is pretty new and I want them to succeed so badly! The owner is so nice and the staff just the cutest. I finally got around to trying one of their pasta dishes and was pleased I did! The juices take a while, but they’re always good and the combinations are different and intriguing. The salads are also delicious, but small. They’re ingredients are always so fresh and the candied walnuts are just perfect. I work nearby and will be sure to frequent this place as the colder months creep in and yummy pasta dishes are on my radar.

I went with my wife for lunch today using a living social certificate. We were seated quickly but decided to eat outside due to the fact that the restaurant was very warm inside. We were given a basket of bread and some olive oil for dipping which were both very good. We were told that due to a regulation from the town cold water could not be served so we bought two drinks. We then ordered a piece of Sicilian pie and two dinner platters chicken parm and eggplant parm. The Sicilian pie was not very good and in fact was below average in quality. The eggplant parm was also not very good and was below average in quality. However the chicken parm was very good and was quite flavorful. Considering the cost of 13.00 a platter the portion size was quite small especially for the portion of pasta. Service was excellent and very responsive. The price to value ratio here is below average for this type of restaurant. All in all this was a fair but disappointing experience considering the other reviewers comments and I may return back but only on the day of the chicken parm special.

Went here because of a recommendation from a friend. little did I know that I would end up having one of the best meals in ages.
from the pizza to the meatballs, all the way to the freshly made garlic knots, everything was cooked/​baked to perfection.
since that first meal, I’ve been back at least 4 other times. hell, I might just go after I upload this review.
do yourself a favor and visit panorama gardens, you won’t regret it.

I just came across a new Pizzeria Restaurant in Rockville Centre… Beautifully decorated, clean and very welcoming staff. The pizza was delicious, thin crust. Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. My family and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to coming back soon and try their pasta!
