High Performance Martial Arts

My son has been going here since January ’15, when his other Dojo at Sportset closed. He has been very happy with the instructors and classes. Instructors (Master Tony & Master Suh) are very supportive, encouraging, firm and also have great teaching personalities (i.e. they won’t scare your kids away or make the experience miserable for them). They have the right mix of discipline and teaching skills that continue to keep my son engaged and interested. I also like the various mix of the classes that allow children from various belt levels to observe as well test their skills with the higher belt levels. The belt test and award ceremony is impressive and certainly keeps my 8 y/​o continually excited, because he wants that next belt and trophy. I have definitely seen continual improvement in my child’s focus, discipline and athletic abilities with the program and would highly recommend this school.

This is a fantastic school. There are three master instructors, all of them are great. They all have schools elsewhere so you get a chance to learn from all of them and they have a ton of experience. So great with children. Also as far as the level of instruction, all of these masters are very legit (4^th degree black belt to 6^th). They are well plugged into the tournament circuit, one master was even an Olympic coach. So if you’re serious about sport tkd these masters are a great training option, but if you’re not and you’re into it to get in shape for yourself or get your child more focused while having fun, this is the place.
