If you just need a shower and a bed to sleep in it will work in a pinch. Personal I will not stay there again. The bathtub had a slow drain so you was standing dirty water while showering. The doors to the exit and hallways slammed every time they shut. So this kept us up all night. Small stuff like drink rings on the guest booklet. Did not have towels when we got to the room.

Only giving one star because I had to. Absolutely horrible experience. Hotel was so hot. They would not turn on AC in building or rooms. Had to force them to turn it on in the hallway and our room never got to a comfortable temperature. Will not be recommending

This hotel was ok. They get 3 stars for being pet friendly, other than that I dont have many nice things to say. We arrived kind of late so I had to wait a long time for someone to come to the front desk. There were two creepy guys acting a fool at the shared pc in the lobby and the person on staff did nothing to help the situation. It next to a dance club so be prepared for loud music and drunk people. Lastly, its not exactly the cleanest hotel.

I am giving this five stars based on class and value. This is a ROADSIDE motel… not a full service five star hotel with room service, swimming pool or a convention center. So if you need those things, this isn’t it. But if you’re driving through Charlotte and need a place to sleep and rejuvenate, this is a great place. The location in Rock Hill is really good. Lots of shopping and food nearby and the neighborhood feels very safe. The guy, Dale, who checked me in was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He didn’t even give me the usual What-Now-groan when I called the desk two seconds after checking in – bonus. It does have free high speed internet and one of those free breakfast buffets that are always a large variety of prepackaged gross food and a waffle iron. They had eggs, but those little egg squares that taste like eggy styrofoam. Meh. They all do that now. This place is on the newer side, meaning everything looks clean and new. The beds are comfortable and have that double-sheet thing that covers the comforter and blankets completely so you don’t feel like you’re touching where the last people were… I love that so much more than the hotels of yesteryear with the nasty thin blanket and a sheet that came untucked immediately. The bathroom is very nice and clean, there is a coffee maker, a blow dryer, ironing board and iron, a safe, a microwave and refrigerator and a flat screen tv. I never use an in room coffee maker, but as you wish. The cups are paper and individually wrapped… so that’s good too. They have both shampoo AND conditioner, not one of those«conditioning shampoos» that I hate. It says San Francisco Soap Company as the brand… never heard of it but hey, I ain’t living here just crashing for one night. I will upload pictures. As I said, this isn’t a JW Marriott on the beach. But for an overnighter or even a few days in the area, this is an awesome room for the money.($ 67 for a junior suite) By the way, if you’re on the bottom floor, you will have a sliding glass exterior door. That way you can park outside your room and won’t have to drag bags all over the place. Plus, I like being able to keep an eye on my car and run out to it with ease.
