Omg. My husband had never been to upstate NY, so we Unilocaled for the best wings… and yes. Richmonds. A divey, loud, friendly establishment… with freaking fantastic wings. We got hot and honey sriracha, and I don’t even know about the upstairs of the bar because we sat at a table right by the cook and never moved except to get more beers. Why are the wings so much better here? Is it the juicyness? Is it the sauces? Is it the atmosphere? Is it the music? The beer? The people? I think it’s all of it. Just go. Don’t expect clean tables and a waitress… expect a bar. Add wings. Mmmmmmmm.

The wings and service are 5 star for sure. Definitely the best wings in Rochester and buffalo for that matter. Now we came here on a Sunday afternoon and at first it was good. Good service and fairly quite with a couple people at the bar. But then the«regulars» came in. I know this cause the knew the bartender and we’re all talking. They were complete idiots and loud and talking about crap nobody cares about except their other doush bag friends. I still received great service from the bartender as he did a great job. Just a warning if you come here and this happens they do have an upstairs deck to escape the rejects of society. Fantastic wings though done just right with some killer sauces!

We had three different flavors. Very good! They use fresh not frozen wings. Great service. Lots of beer choices.

It’s hard to find a good lesbian bar in this town anymore. Sure, there’s places where you may feel comfortable going for a pitcher of blue light with your softball team after the big game(talking to you Distillery), but not a place to go out on the town in style. Richmond’s fills this void! If lesbians love anything more than ladies soccer, it’s friend cheese and richmonds has it in so many forms– including a sandwich with taquitos inside! Super yum! No one likes to come up main at night, especially this far up, but I absolutely recommend taking a field trip from the east end to check out Richmond’s where the charming slogan is «sorry, we’re open!» See ya there ladies who lunch!

Their mantra is «Sorry we’re open» I’m not you should be thrilled they are open too… It’s like a dive bar, but not, but. Oh whatever… You walk in seems like they have regulars. That’s cool. It’s a non descript place. Unless you know where this place is you would be like where? Unless your in the know. Thanks Unilocal and to my Elite Crew for the love for this place. Ok you place your order at the bar. Take a seat or play some darts or go upstairs to the rooftop and chill. They have large screen tv’s and a jukebox type of thing. This is a bar, it has a long bar when you walk in. This is a BAR not a cocktail place with a mixologist. You would get a proper drink and yes they have beer. You come here for WINGS. OMG those wings… It’s obvious when you bite into these beauties, meaty and juicy that they make their own sauces. We had the Medium Buffalo sauce(you can taste the butter and spices) and we got the Honey Sriracha(the sweet heat is perfect) we got 20 wings, so ten of each. You get blue cheese dressing(again house made) and some carrots come with it. The blue cheese is a nice cooling counterpoint to the heat of the wings. What we got was the perfect amount of heat. Not to little not too much that your saying WTH! I should have asked for more blue cheese for the wings. My bad next time I will. The staff is cool and the crowd is chill. It’s a good place to come for wings, specials(yes they have them Thursday wings & a pitcher for $ 15.00; Monday Nights .50 a piece wings! SCORE and other specials!!) and some booze. When it’s warm out go upstairs to the rooftop and hide out. I could see Quentin Tarrintino setting a film here. What a riot. It’s a chill place with a dive bar feeling with excellent wings. The only other place this reminds me of is Cigars & Stripes in Berwyn, IL Ronnie they are doing it right too. If you are visiting Rochester or live here you gotta come here. Seriously. Bring your friends, chill, drink and have wings. Slante’

Don’t come for the beer. Small selection of low end beers, and no ciders. But the wings! Lordy, lordy! Loved the dry rub! Had a side of sriracha honey sauce, but ended up not needing it. Good Caesar salad, run of the mill tater tots. But the wings!

If not for anything else, Richmond’s needs to be visited solely for their wings alone. Maple-Bacon? Ooh! Siracha-Honey? Ahh! Wasabi-Ginger? WUTTTTT?! I’m a huge fan when it comes to unique flavors to provide a switch up from the tried and true recipes, and Richmond’s nails this on the head. Despite the«open» kitchen, I’m convinced there’s a top secret wing sauce lab somewhere on the premises. — And if the remixed flavors aren’t your thing, fret not; As they carry all the traditional wing sauces as well. Venue and atmosphere wise, Richmonds is similar to that of the Monroe and Park Avenue area bars — TVs, dartboard, jukebox, etc. They have a great rooftop patio area, that seems to be under utilized, but great for happy hour work meet ups during the summer.

If you haven’t been to Richmond’s you haven’t lived. I was once sitting upstairs at Richmonds having a discussion about what Richmonds wings taste like, with their signature sauce, of course. Nobody could pinpoint the taste. Then the wings arrived. I closed my eyes and I ate the wing. I tried to pinpoint the flavors and their origins. And then it hit me. I knew exactly what that flavor was and it is genius. If you were to take a cheeseburger garbage plate and put it into a blender and make a sauce out of it? That is Richmomds signature sauce. Next time you are at this place and eating those wings, consider this thought and appreciate the flavor. Your wing experience there will never be the same again. Long live the garbage plate wing. Thank you Richmonds.

Best wings in Rochester-crispy and delicious!

Wingedy, wingedy wings, oh my the wings. First and foremost they are meaty, crispy and well sauced. Surprisingly amazing were the fireball whiskey. The siracha honey, predictably amazing cause if you are a fan of chicken, siracha and honey it’s a dream. The maple bacon were also good. We also tried a country berry grilled special which were good and well debated about their delicious attributes. Fairly little seating, good beer options.

Some of the best wings in all of Rochester. Crispy, yet saucy. They clearly make their own buffalo sauce, it’s not pre-made from a jar. It’s unique and very flavorful. Their blue cheese makes the wings even better. In a world of sub-par blue cheese, Richmond’s rises above and delivers a massive, blue cheesey gut punch right to your taste buds. It’s some of the most fresh blue cheese I’ve had. There’s actually«blue» in the cheese, which means they’re using a high quality cheese. I’ve heard great things about the other food but haven’t tried anything. I definitely will though and can’t wait to go back.

Richmond’s is located a little of the beaten path in Rochester but still in Downtown proper. They are known for wings and the wings are still in the top tier of Rochester’s wing joints. The drink selection is ample though not much stands out in my mind. Happy hours here are pretty good though and their rooftop is great on a nice day.

I heard there were several locations of this place, so I was wondering, Whichmond’s? I asked google, but my phone internet had a Glitchmond’s. The frustration gave me a nervous Twitchmond’s. The cop saw me driving and on my phone so he pulled me over and started to Bitchmond’s. I told him I didn’t do it, but the guy in the passenger seat contradicted me, he’s such a Snitchmond’s. He also gets turned on by cops, so the officer noticed his pants, in which a tent was Pitchmond’s. Luckily the officer was flattered, and had to rush off to tow somebody out of a Ditchmond’s. What to get: 5 medium Buffalo wings for $ 6. What else: I said 5 wings for $ 6 are you f***ing deaf. I came here because all of the Rochestonianishicalismalistic people told me that it had the best wings in the city. That’s a lofty claim, but then I’m a lofty person. Six foot seven actually. Okay I can’t back that up. But I can back *this* up(shakes my ass). By the way, thanks Breanna and the others who told me about this place. That ass shake was just for you guys. So I ordered the smallest order possible, and definitely pricing is a bit of an issue. Because the wings are kind of tiny, but they cost $ 6 ish for 5, and I thought that was a little much. 10 of them cost around 10. Bar wings in Buffalo are nearing these same prices now too, but a lot of the time they’re jumbo and incredible. If those women from Eastwick came in here would it be Witchmond’s? Nevertheless, here’s what I like about Richmond’s: (1) They are indeed very good, very tasty wings. Authentic, hot, fresh. (2) The sauce is really good. Not enough of it so always ask for extra saucy and extra sauce on the side too. (3) Service is okay. They gossip a lot in front of customers, but they’re nice enough. (4) Their t-shirts are funny. «Sorry, we’re open.» (5) Best of all, they’re offering half orders of wings. You will hardly ever find this in Buffalo. Sometimes you just don’t need 10 wings… and you still have to part with $ 10 because you can’t order less. However, here, you can order 6 of them, which is an excellent practice. They have ants at the bar though. So much so that I may rename it Itchmond’s. Okay no, just kidding, no ants. They do have nurse’s aides that come here though. And Ants-illary Aides. So yes, the wings in Buffalo are better, at maybe a dozen places or more. But these are definitely some of the best ones I’ve had in Rochester, if not the best. And compared to other Rochester wings, these are definitely 5 stars. And I do appreciate the humour, and especially the half order. Which everyone in Buffalo should be doing by now. If they did, I’d order way more wings. And half-order fish fries would be nice, while they’re at it. Anyway, come and check out these wings if you’re in Rochester. Because like Gwen Stefani said, if I were a Richmond’s, nananananananananananananananana, oh I’d have all the wings in the world, if I were a wealthy Richmond’s.

Their delicious wings and other bar foods make this small, neighborhood bar a standout. If you’re a wings fan, don’t miss a visit to this bar. My favorites are honey/Sriracha and ginger/wasabi, although I do wish both were a bit more spicy. Their beer selection is decent too.

It’s all about the Wings people! Some of the best wings this side of Mississippi has ever seen! Came here on Saturday after the Breaking Benjamin concert at the Main Street Armory. Service is always prompt and friendly, not divey. The upstairs was closed and I am not sure if it was for the night or maybe for renovations. I was too hungry to ask. We ordered a few different flavors to share, but on this visit the Maple Bacon, extra crispy, wings were the winner for me. Fried to absolute perfection! Super crispy with all the internal fats melted to the meat without sacrificing texture and succulence! This flavor alone will have me visit sooner than I planned!

This place is quite a small bar that gets very crowded quickly. We got there at 10 on a friday night and there seemed to be not even one spot for the ten of us. We lasted there long enough though to finally find a small table. The atmosphere is pretty cool, they play a very great selection of music and there are two darts at the end of the bar where you and your group of friends can have fun! There was an offer of a free domestic draft with every meal order upon check-in on Unilocal; the waitress«Jamie» was pretty nice and I even got to talk to the owner of the place«Don» who was really welcoming. It was kind of cool to see the owner and have a chat with him. We all ordered wings and got the HONEYSRIRACHA and MILDBUFFALO sauce. Deep fried at first and then sautéd in the sauce, the wings were so succulent and delicious! We played dart, danced a little to the music and got a little drunk with the beers. Richmond’s delivered What a bar is supposed to do for a group of friends. The only drawback was that the restrooms were pretty filthy! Apart from that, I loved the bar.

Richmonds. That’s what’s up. A cozy bar with great drinks, really great food and great company! Live entertainment on the weekends, upstairs, separated from the main bar if you don’t care for that. Upstairs also has a big outdoor patio. The food is incredible, ya gotta order Atleast something! Anything will be good. I had their meatball mozzarella grilled cheese last night and it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had. The meatball had so much flavor!

I’ve been coming here too often lately not to bump this up to 5 stars… Looking for low-frill, great food, good conversation? Just come here. The new owners are awesome, always trying to do new things around the place: charity contests, new bands, they updated the upstairs. They always have deals going on when the Bills are playing too! Cheap pitchers, wings, but everything you order here is going to be deelish. New favorites are their grilled cheeses, they have a few different regular ones on the menu, but they have specials on some new creations every week. Some of my favorites include: the denny(pizza rolls, cheese, marinara sauce), chicken parm, and the POUTINEGRILLEDCHEESE(yes, folks — poutine — it was divine).

This place is a friendly, but somewhat hole-in-the-wall joint. Very laid back bar vibe, not too loud or crowded. Good place to go with some close friends to grab wings and a beer. Mozzarella sticks were super crispy and cheesy. Sauce was excellent and contained chunks of tomato. I got to try the thai peanut butter and sriracha honey wings. Both were delicious, though if I had to pick, I would say I preferred the sriracha honey. Don’t be fooled by the name of the thai peanut butter though — still had a spicy kick to them. Can’t wait to come again and give all the other flavors a try. Note: You can get the 10 pc and get half of one flavor, half of the other. Definitely try to come with a few friends so you can try more flavors of chicken wing! Super friendly and prompt service.

Oh Richmond’s, you have my heart. A great sports bar and hang out for good food and beer. They usually have some special beer deal — not just cheap domestics, which is a plus — along with special wraps or sandos on the chalkboard next to the kitchen. They also have live music a few nights a week. This is one of my top spots for wings in Rochester. They fry then and then toss them in the sauce in a hot sauté pan. Hello, tasty seared bird! Absolutely my favorite way to enjoy a wing — crisp-y! Their burgers are a great hearty option to pair with a pint. And they have tots. Try the Cajun ones. I usually opt for the medium heat wing sauce and their honey sriracha is a good spicy sweet flavor. Really you can’t go wrong. They’re crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I tried the ghost sauce — just a taste and it was intense. Not for me, but for all you heat lovers out there — that is your sauce.
