One of the best places in East End. Always have live music and you can’t find find better drink specials… you’ll load up a bar tab and be expecting $ 100 but it comes back at $ 50, always a great feeling while you sit there in fear of what number is going to be at the bottom of that receipt.

Say wassup to the big man at the door. He stares at me. Stares at my ID. Black light cross my face. Squinting. Smile. Never mad dog the bouncer. Girl friend pushes me and I’m like all right I guess we’re in. Packed show. Five deep at the bar but no one acting hostile. Beta males and kept woman. Or maybe we’re all too faded for that ego nonsense. Lot of tie dye in the crowd. Worked through lunch so I’m ready for whatever they got. I don’t need a table for eating. Thud. Crack. Pump the music. Shout my order at the bartender and don’t even care if she gets it right. Fat carbs protein. One might consider this a strange spot to refuel but I’m in no state for conventions or consideration. Well whiskey and St Paul St lager. Shorty comes by and plays with my scarf a moment. Oh yeah. It’s Halloween. So far I been called Waldo and Gryffindor. Honestly I’m whatever you think is cutest. Kill the wings single handed. Like literally with one hand. Bounce among the crowd. Try to keep rooster sauce off Tinkerbell and Zombie #7 and whatever ridiculous cultural reference that guy is. Jump up and down. White boy dancing so hard I don’t care. This is a party. Check the wallet. Enough for one more. Crush half as I wade up to the stage. Hand the rest to the bass player. He looked thirsty. I stopped getting mad being called a hipster. If anything I figure it’s a return to form. Uh oh. Rides leaving. Better get out of here before I find myself that trouble.

Such a cute venue with great service. The night I went here it was pretty dead, but the bartender was great and very knowledgeable about all of the drinks. I think it would be a great place to see a show.

This is about the 5th reincarnation of this place since I have lived in Rochester. It is in a tough spot — kinda isolated between two areas that are littered with bars. However, they have really done a great job with moving things around. The bar is now in the area where the old booths were(that didn’t get hardly any use) which helps out with traffic a lot. The stage is in the back corner which is a great spot for it. The movement around the bar/dance floor/dart boards is so much better now with things rearranged. It was always a great spot to watch a live show but now it is actually a lot better. Still has a great patio(which I think is underrated) as well.

A decent music venue downtown that offers a balance between the heavy metal shows at Montage and high ticket shows at Eastman School of Music/Kodak Hall. They get a lot of local acts on stage. They have a solid menu, good open space between the bar and stage area so there’s room for mingling and dancing and you have a good view of the band from all angles. There’s space in the back with some tables if you get food, plus some dart boards. It doesn’t feel like a restaurant, but they offer some solid food options from sandwiches, to a mix of apps, and burgers. As for drinks, I usually stick with my vodka soda with lime standby. It isn’t my first choice when going to see a band, but if there’s someone local I love, I’m down to support. I usually end up here after already having been in the East End area at another bar or restaurant. The patio will be nice in the summer and it’s proximity to other spots in that area is great for walking around and hitting up a few different places in one night. I do have a special place in my heart for this venue when it was Milestone’s. I will always remember my teenage adventures there.

First time was tonight and I had an awesome time. Cool service, great music venue, aesthetically pleasing environment, fair prices, and enough beers on tap to please most tongues. The house sesame jalapeño wing sauce is definitely worth a try if you’re into that sort of thing. Will be coming back soon.

So excited about this new bar in Rochester! Great atmosphere, great food, delicious drinks and live music! You first walk in and see there is a long bar on the left, but then you look around and see there is plenty of space with actual tables and chairs and a huge stage in the back of the bar. It’s a lot bigger than we thought inside and our group of about 8 people had plenty of space to hang out. There is even a bar outside and a patio — can’t wait to be back here this summer for drinks outside! Our group got here in time for happy hour and we first ordered a few drinks and played darts. We decided to order some food and were surprised at the awesome quality for«bar food». It wasn’t just your typical bar menu either… there were options like basil flat bread, and baked buffalo ravioli(which was heaven). The bartender was great and really knowledgeable too. I totally recommend getting one of the special cocktails! :) We were about to get ready to go home, but then a live jazz band came on the stage to perform and we just had to stick around a little longer. Apparently Flour City Station has live music all the time and now started trivia nights on Wednesdays. We will definitely be back here soon!

Stopped in with the wife for a beer and a snack during the fringe festival. Bar food was five star and included vegetarian offerings. Bottled beer selection was uninspiring, but there were good offerings on tap including Caged Alpha Monkey, which is a favorite. Did not have time to stay for the live music, but this place seems promising & we’ll be back.
