F– I will never walk in this store ever again. Bought a watch battery and pressure seal for $ 75. 6 months later the watch stops. They send it in and tell me the battery is fine. Lee(petite woman with short grey hair and funky glasses) tells me the watch needs a full cleaning and oil. BS. We leave take the watch over the mall. Nap Repairs tests the battery and it is dead. Jared lied to us so they could attempt to get $ 200 for a cleaning. New battery is in and watch is working fine.

So I had a great experience at Jared’s, took my kids there to buy a mother’s day gift. They were so friendly to all of us. They had an area for kids to play, which is unusual. They gave us bottled water and also had coffee. Such a great experience.

Awful. «He went to Jared»? Hopefully not this store. Jared is a quality jeweler in general, but I was very disappointed at this location. I took a Tag Heuer in since the crown wasn’t screwing in. The watch was purchased at Jared 2 years and 2 weeks ago. The answer on the two year warranty? Oh… so sorry… it’s expired. When I inquired about the difference between having the repair done through Jared or Tag, I was met with little more than a blank stare and«Tag is more expensive». When I informed the assistant manager(woman with short platinum blond hair) that another Jared store would honor the guarantee(and earn future business), I got a snotty reply of, «well, good for you».

Apparently you have to look a certain way to get quick service here. I did go on a Saturday though, but it wasn’t what one would refer to as super crowded. I came in to get a ring looked at to get it sized, and headed straight for the desk that does this. Not one person greeted me, or even seemed to acknowledge my presence until I got to the spot I was going to. There was a couple ahead of me in line, and they had some sort of issue which seriously took more than 20 minutes to resolve. I was patient for once, and just meandered around the store, and still not one staff member spoke to me. There were numerous, sappy, couples in love here who all seemed to get helped instantly. Heck, I think I was the only non-coupled up person here, so maybe that was my problem. Finally, it was my turn at the desk, and the woman working was apologetic. But at this point, there was another couple behind me in line and it’s like«you couldn’t have someone else come over and see what these people waiting are here for». Finally it was my turn and the woman was helpful, I’ll give her that. I had already spent about a half hour in the store though, for about 4 – 5 minutes of time with her. I didn’t end up getting the work done to the ring, as the price was way more than expected. I have had a ring sized here previously though and they did a phenomenal job on it, which is why I came back here in the first place. A couple of weeks later, the woman that helped me did follow up with a phone call to see if I had decided to get the work done yet. If I go back, it’ll be on a weekday.

My boyfriend took me to Jared for our second anniversary, having checked it out online I knew they had necklaces I liked. They have different sales associates for different sections so we had two people assisting us both were very friendly though the woman associate implied we couldn’t afford anything other then sterling silver. Promptly addressing my hatred for sterling silver she showed me some white gold options. When we had a guy associate helping us he turned the focus from a present for me to a present from me and started showing my boyfriend watches. Addressing that issue the attention quickly went back to me. I got to try on anything I wanted even things that were above our price point and I chose a pretty white gold and diamond necklace in the shape of a French crest. The paper work went smoothly as did the alterations needed on the chain though I did feel that a week was a bit to long to cut an inch of a chain. Overall it was a descent experience and i love my necklace.

Walked in the other day to look at purchasing an engagement ring with my now fiancé. We were in the store for five minutes, and not one of the four sales associates standing around bothered to greet us or even let us know that someone would help us shortly. Needless to say, we left soon after and purchased a ring across the street at the mall. I will NOT be back.

Jared’s is over rated! The one in Henrietta, NY, POOR Customer service. Rude, and overbearing! Exchanging something wasn’t an option! Buy pandora at the Pandora store at Easview Mall! Jared’s engagment rings, overpriced, and nothing special. Men, you wanna WOW your lady, Tiffanys is the place. Don’t bother with Jared’s MaryBeth at the Marketplace Mall, Reeds will wow you!!!

Customer service was great. But buyer beware-if you don’t buy the 100 dollar service plan, you have to pay for sizing. Mine would have been 68 dollars just to go up 2 sizes. Your guy can’t just surprise you with a ring unless he is darn sure of your ring size and what finger you will be wearing it on.

My fiancée and I purchased my engagement ring here. From the minute when you walk into the door the service is exceptional. You are greeted and offered water/coffee/hot chocolate and an assortment of cookies and asked what type of jewelery you are interested in looking at or purchasing. Unlike many jewelers who only offer rings that are preset with stones, Jared’s allows you to custom design your ring. There are a number of different settings including cathedral in different sizes(what we wanted). Once you have chosen the setting there are tons of diamonds to individually choose from. All Jared’s jewelers are not located in the mall, which creates a more professional and enjoyable shopping experience. Probably the best thing about Jared’s is the on staff jewelry mechanic who can professionally polish, resize or set rings in only a few hours. Compared to many other jewelers who ship out their jewelery for this service, this is a true plus. I know we’ll be back to Jared’s when purchasing our wedding bands.
