Leaving a review is rare for me. Service has to be either great or horrible. I was blown away at the level of service I was given. They make you feel very welcomed and was supremely happy with checking this place out. They were able to accommodate me as a walk in on a busy Sunday. Looking forward to my next visit!

Visited here yesterday on a deliberate«compare and contrast» experience, after enjoying a visit to their Ann Arbor location a few months back, and was delighted to leave just as satisfied as I did in Ann Arbor. The main thing to note here is that the stylists take their time, which I’ve come to feel is an increasingly important part of my barbershop/haircutting experience. My stylist, Ryan, was particularly easygoing yet clearly knew his stuff, even stopping his work for a minute to ask me a few questions about my preferred styles and whether I knew particular hairstyling terms and if I felt they’d fit well for me. The extra segments of the styling(hot towel face wash and straight razor neck shave) are built into the experience, thus accounting for the higher price, and are well worth the effort. The shop was slightly hard to find in the scheme of the outdoor mall, but if you look for Whole Foods, you won’t be far away from it.

Randomly found this place online, via Unilocal and Google search, to get a haircut. It was very close to me so I called and got an immediate appointment with one of the two barbers at random. The place was very modern, with a garden wall and bar setting for waiting, everything pretty much white or light gray in color schematic. It truly felt like a salon over a barber shop. Anyway I arrived, was introduced to my barber, who according to their site has been a barber for ten years or so. Thought I was in pretty decent hands so handed over my head. She was courteous and overly talkative, asking a slew of questions about everything and I tried to accommodate but it got tiresome and I just wanted to be done! The worst parts beyond the incessant gabbing was her clippers not quite cutting but pulling on my hair a bit here and there and the fact she had to go over her work at least four times. Oh and the shampoo after cut was rough and I found my neck aching a bit from the hard plastic of the sink. All in all I got a cut but I had to have been there for 45 minutes and all I do is get a number 1 buzz, high and tight. I think I like Floyds 99 a bit better. Plus the cut was $ 37! They had an ad on Unilocal that if you mentioned you found them on there, there was a 20% discount on your first cut. Did that happen? Nope. Good location, upper crust establishment, but over priced and sometimes painful, not only in your wallet!

It is the first time I get the haircut in the US, I would recommend this barbershop, I got a good one, my stylist — Michelle — had 10 years of experience in this profession, she is really good at it.

I brought my 4 yo son to get a haircut there and although that did not come to fruition, the staff were amazing and kind. They were very sweet to us and accommodating truly trying every attempt to accommodate us. So while I’m not reviewing their actual craft, I am absolutely positive that it is nothing short of fantastic as is their hospitality.
