TJ’s Nails & Spa

I came to Tjs for a facial yesterday and it was amazing! My friend recommended this salon to me so I decided to try it. I got a pore refining facial and extractions. My skin is so smooth and dewy! I’m going to go every week from now on. The salon is very spacious and clean btw. Maybe I’ll try other services there.

Went here because my friend wanted to get her nails done for her birthday. The charge is expensive! 27 $ for short nails, 30 $ for medium, 33 $ for long. lady’s were rude and rush into the job! My friends nails came out crooked and sloppy. When filing they were very rough and kept tugging on my skin! My nails came out okay but I came here two days ago and one of my nails already broke! The nail polish has started to chip. They aren’t Good at doing nail shapes either. CHEAP quality for an expensive price. Never coming here again.

Kim is my go to every time. She is sweet, funny, and talented! My pedicures always last a really long time. Highly recommend.

I came here because the place I normally go to wasn’t open for whatever reason. This place is really nice and roomy but the quality of my nails was not too good compared to my usual nail spot. I had a guy give me a mani and full set.
He was really rough & made my fingernails bleed a little. When he buffed my nails he pushed too hard or something & it would hurt my fingers too. I get full sets every few weeks but I’ve never had anyone hurt my fingers like that.
Another thing that bothered me was that I asked the guy to shape my nails in a coffin shape, all he said was okay and continued to finish my nails. Once it was time to pay he added another $ 5 to my bill because it apparently cost extra for a specific shape of nail. If he would of told me that before he proceeded to shape my nail I would of had that extra $ 5 in cash for tip and said no to the shaping.
Overall I did not like the customer service nor the quality of my nails.

I’ve been to TJs twice so far and I have to say they are the best around the Tyler and Arlington area. A few extra bucks then some other places but I rather pay that for the better quality of my pedicures and manicures that hey provide. I love how they play the 80s and 90s rather then the elevator music in other shops. Plus they’re very spacious and can handle a lot of clients with plenty of room to spare. I love how I’m not touching elbows with the person next to me.

Walked in this place and I clearly saw them take a customer without rinsing pedi tub. Very disgusting. I walked out first time here.

On a recommendation from a massage therapist in the area I came to TJ Nails for mani/​pedi. It was great. BEST massage chairs I’ve ever sat in. They weren’t just vibrating, there were things rotating like a persons hand. It Actually felt like a massage. Maddy was great and very sweet. Can’t beat the price either. I will definitely be back

I had a bad allergic reaction to my acrylic nails (put on else where) Thao, the manager was great. He was kind & kept checking on me to make sure he didn’t hurt me when taking off the nails. Place was clean & everyone was friendly. I would recommend this place to others.

My mom and I came here to get a pedicure. The pedicure itself was okay. Toe nails look good, the massage was slim to none.
What I didn’t like was that we both got basic pedicures but with gel (I know it costs more for gel) but our total came out to $ 90 for 2 pedicures with gel. RIDICULOUS! I asked why it was so much and the guy just said «that’s how much it is». He should’ve told us in the beginning that it was going to be that much extra. We probably should’ve asked but all other places I’ve been to, it’s like a $ 10 up charge so we didn’t think it was going to come out to $ 90!!! We felt ripped off and will never come back!

First time going here and will be coming back as a regular. Kim is so friendly and did a fantastic job on my gel manicure. Very clean salon and everyone is friendly.

Amazing place. I went there with my friend. She got a pedicure and manicure. They came out beautifully. I got a wax and it looked great. The staff was super nice and funny. They had complementary drinks. Prices are great. Sadly I don’t live in the area but if I come back I’m definitely going to TJ’s.

I used to come here often before the management changed. This place wasn’t the best but at least they did OK.
Well, on Tuesday I went with my friends to get our nails done. Each of us noticed something was wrong with our nails after 3 different people did our nails. The color that I chose happened to be old or something because there were a lot of bubbles showing up. So he (the manager, I think. The guy that goes out front and smokes) did another coat and I still wasn’t satisfied but I didn’t say anything. I just wanted to get out of there. Well, today is Friday. 3 days later. Why do my nails look like I already need a fill? Honestly, the day after I got them done all of us noticed that our nails looked like they needed a fill already.
Wow. I spent $ 25 for just colored acrylics. No design. Expensive, in my opinion. And I tipped $ 5 AFTER he was done. I overheard the guy that did my nails (the manager) saying to the girl that was doing my friends nails «did your girl leave you a tip? My client didn’t leave anything». Keep in mind that they ask you to pay first before they put polish on your nails just so u don’t mess up your nails. I understand this BUT why should I leave a tip first before he even finished his job? So after I heard what he said, I told him «I’ll give you a tip when you’re done.» And he was like «oh ok!» LOL. I shouldn’t have left 5 bucks. He really cared about his tip that bad that he couldn’t wait to say that to her later? Not even wait to see if I would leave him a tip after he was done? I speak and understand Vietnamese fluently. I spent $ 30 on my nails and not even a day later, I look like I need to get them done again. NO THANKS.
Sorry TJ Nails. Your business has gone downhill. I will not be coming back.

Went in this past Sunday, Memorial Day weekend. My nails we’re terrible and I didn’t know whether I wanted to take the acrylics off and start off with new ones or work with the ones I had. I was seen by Tom and he talked me through my options. Great conversation, salon had about 3 clients so I was taken in easily and Tom was funny!
I ended up not taking them off as Tom had explained that they were still good and it would hurt really bad. He just filled my white tip acrylics set added glitter and designs.

Did my nails here very first time staff is friendly I was satisfied Maddy did a great job!!!

This has become my regular spot:) it’s always very clean and fast. I have always been that girl who comes in with a Pinterest picture and they always nail it spot on!!! Thank you to Johnny for doing my nails today:)

Love this place! My nails have been perfect every time. And while I was enjoying my pedicure, I was offered a nice refreshing beverage. How cool is that. So relaxing and refreshing.

Not satisfied. my nails had bubbles and the design was messed up. Minimum color selection and u can tell the nail polish Is old because it’s separating. Should of went to the mall

I walked in and was lost. Literally. It looks like a wide open ballet studio. I was told to pick a color, and went straight to the back. The staff seemed friendly & courteous. I was lucky enough to visit during the $ 20 pedi/​mani special. The spa chairs have pretty cool LED lights in the foot tubs & massage as well. It’s really pretty & relaxing to be here. There’s a flat panel tv on the wall & we watched Family Feud. The $ 20 special is valid M-​Thurs from 930am to 430pm. They look like they have lots of acrylic options and experience nail techs, but I just got a simple manicure.
