Ragini is the best threading professional I’ve ever gone to! My mom and I have been seeing her years. I’m from Riverside but now live in the OC and have tried to find someone a little closer to home but everwhere else I’ve tried gives me ingrown hairs or breaks skin. So even though it’s a bit of a drive it is definitely worth it.

I ‘ve heard bad things about this salon but I want to give it a try. I was going to take my boys for a quick haircut. It’s convenient cause it’s next to a market I shop at. I didn’t have much time that day so I was willing to pay a little more just for a simple haircut. I called to check the price for men’s haircut. She told me $ 16. Then I asked her «what about the boys?» She told me «we don’t bargain over the price, this is not a market!» I was so mad I just hung up. I didn’t bargain with her I just want to check the price since it was our first time. If she’s good we will be going there from now on. She has bad customer service. I heard my co– worker said she won’t greet you or do your hair if you don’t dress nice. So here you will be judge on your appearance. Hello, there are a lot of hair salons around Riverside, why go somewhere who is rude and nasty? I was going to give it a try but I guess I’m not after all. No wonder her salon is not busy… She will go out of business soon because she doesn’t treat her customers nice!!!

The best I have been to, always satisfied. Stephanie is a real professional and will make you look your best.

I am giving a neutral review because I’m not completely unhappy with the service but am not satisfied either. This was my first visit. I already had a short hair that just needed to be trimmed and evened out (trying to grow it out). Overall the haircut was ok, but I didn’t do anything more than a basic trim so I can’t really give an opinion on that. But the part that made me unhappy was that over the phone I was quoted a certain amount and later when it was time to pay, I was told it was $ 7 more than the anticipated amount. When I told Stephanie about the quote, she told me it was because she did the blow dry and style. That was ridiculous to me because I was never even asked if I wanted it. And the styling she did was as basic as it could get, running the hair straightener a few times on some of my short hair! I did think she was nice and did not want to make a big deal over $ 7 so I didn’t argue. However, I don’t think I’m coming back because sneaking in a service fee like that is definitely not appreciated.

Walked in and was lucky enough to get Stephanie. I just moved here from NYC where I always get fantastic and overpriced hair cuts. I paid $ 18 for a cut. Stephanie understood my fine long hair right away and gave a great cut!

I’ve been a client of Stephanie’s for years and moved out of the area over a year ago. Stephanie does such a great job (cut, style, color and Brazilian Blowout) that I still go to her and travel from San Fran!

This is a GREAT little place! Stephanie is fantastic! I love my new hair-​do. I got it shampooed, conditioned, cut and styled for less than 30! Amazing. And i had my nails done by volvo. She’s absolutely wonderful. I am DEFINITELY coming back =) Thanks Stephanie!!!

Stephanie provides her clients with a wonderful level of professionalism, & knowledge; but more than that she provides a very warm, loving, cheerful place to go & relax. I think everyone FEELS like part of Steph’s extended family! She is bright, funny, caring & you leave feeling confident that you look Great !

Do not be put off by the little shopping strip, which is right behind KFC on Magnolia & across from the Tyler Galleria. This is definitely, as a previous reviewer stated, a HIDDEN GEM!

Stephanie is awesome. Great person to talk to as well. Does what you want or you can ask her for her opinion and does a great job as well.

Since Danielle left, Stephanie has been doing my hair (for the past 6 – 9 months or so) and she is great.
I go to her about every 6 weeks. You tell her what you want, and she’ll do it. She never cuts too much off and is just the sweetest person ever.
This place is seriously a hidden gem.
They take walk ins but its best to make an appointment.
They also have nail service and eyebrow threading too!

Love, love, love Stephanie!!! I have made her my hairdresser since Feb 09 and I have been going to her religiously every month. She is very nice and gives you exactly what you’re looking for! It has gotten to the point where I just get there and tell her, «Stephanie, do whatever you like!» I know the results will always be great!
