Pad Thai was pretty average. But, if you have these at home, here’s a tip: when picked up or delivered, add soy sauce, fresh cilantro, and brown mustard. Really helps with the blandness. Or just don’t order it! The green salad that came along with it was also a bit bland. This seems to be recurring at this place as a lot of Google reviews have said similar things. So if you have some of those ingredients I mentioned, definitely try that out! However, some Google reviews said the delivery was terrible. Maybe because it’s late on a Tuesday evening but my order came in about 20 minutes. Might explain that blandness though! Haha

Delivery is delivery for a reason. We don’t want to leave our apartments in our comfortable sweatpants. This delivery man will cal you and yell at you that if you don’t come all the way downstairs then he will leave. He claims there was no parking. You are always allowed to park in the driveway. This food is good but it’s overpriced and the customer service makes me want to forget it all together. Hire a better delivery team and I’d be a dedicated customer even with the prices. Overall it’s Christmas Eve and I can’t even get dinner because the delivery man is mad I only asked him to do his job. I’m in the industry so I get being mad but damn homie… That’s your only responsibility.

«Meh.» Hit or miss. Prices are a tad expensive for the quality. I’ve ordered delivery from here countless times but Drunken Fish doesn’t leave me particularly enthusiastic — I would likely not find myself gushing to someone about how good their food is. While it satisfies my sushi cravings in the moment I can’t really say it’s worth the money or leaves me salivating at the prospect of my next order. I’ve had a couple of chewy pieces of fish(As in: I had to spit it out.) that really turned me off leading me back on the search for a go-to delivery spot. While I appreciate their offering of hand rolls(Side-note: If you own a sushi restaurant and you do not offer hand rolls you should shut down immediately.) the seaweed is pretty tough to chew through making the process of consuming it a bit of a mess. Also doesn’t have that nice toasted flavor that some hand rolls do — Could have something to do with the texture. I should also mention: Skip the tempura if you’re going the vegetarian route. Vegetable tempura delivered is *very* disappointing. Soggy, greasy, just sad.

The magic combination of terrible food and shitty service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Delivery guy refuses to come inside, and then the food is basically inedible. Dry tasteless noodles and sushi that would turn your stomach.

I freaking love this place. It is amazing. I used to order from here at least once a week but that recently changed. And I’ll tell you why later… But first, I’ll tell you what’s good. The sushi rolls are amazing. My absolute favorite. The avocado salad is on point with those little crunchy sesame seeds and that orange dressing. Delish. The edamame is the bomb. The mango fried rice is the best entrée, trust me on this one. Miso soup? A m-fing classic! And the desserts don’t drop the ball either. Fried bananas– yup! Fried ice cream– definitely!!! Green tea ice cream– ABSOLUTELY!!! The green tea ice cream was the grand finale for me. The best firework of them all. That was until they CHANGEDTHEBRAND! It used to be so amazing and addicting. It was dark green in color, mellow and not too sweet tasting. Just absolutely perfect. But now its this bright, super sweet, WAYTOOMATCHA-Y tasting disaster. Please, Drunken Fish gods, if you’re reading this, go back to the old brand. I will order 10 of them right away(to be honest, sometimes I would order 2 or 3 at the same time and save them in the fridge for later). Anyway, order from here if you love sushi. But skip the green tea ice cream until they go back to the old brand. Mwah. Xoxo

It’s really unfortunate that the service at this place was so poor because the sushi itself was really tasty. I ordered on seamless and it took 2 hours to receive my delivery. Of course I had prepaid and pretipped online. And when I attempted to call to find out where my order was, the call was repeatedly disconnected and I wasn’t able to receive any help. The delivery person finally showed up while I was frantically making calls to them. Really annoying and disappointing.

What a great find! We just moved from Williamsburg and were sad to leave Mizu behind, but we’ve found our new spot! I was hesitant about sushi in Bushwick, as I haven’t heard many good things, but Drunken Fish really brought their A-game. We ordered scallion pancakes, spicy crunchy tuna roll(by far the best version I’ve had of this in a long while), yellow tail scallion roll. The Dragon roll and the house special roll for delivery. Everything was the temperature it should have been when it arrived(we had hot and cold items), and the estimated time of 45 minutes was exactly how long it took to get here. The Dragon roll really stole the show for me, I could have just ordered two of those and been incredibly happy! We will be ordering in frequently!

Even if my food comes and it is good it is only getting 1 star. Ordered on GrubHub on a Saturday night with an estimated delivery time of an hour or so — expected. After getting an update that the food is out for delivery and should be here in 10 – 20 minutes, I waited 45 minutes before calling the restaurant. The language barrier was tough and all I got was«Busy» and«Sorry» with no answer as to where my food is. Still waiting 45 minutes later…

Ordered here for pick up late last night. place was empty except my boyfriend and I. We ordered spicy crab meat roll/shrimp tempura roll special box and 2 sweet potato rolls. When we arrived home, we opened the box and we didn’t expect the rolls to be that small portion… either way they tasted really good and we enjoyed them! Would probably go again if we are willing to put down over $ 20 for small tasty not heavy rolls.

Unfortunately this is the second mediocre review I’ve written of this place. I ordered the pad thai, which is one of their starred and«popular» items. The pink(?) noodles were in a luke warm oily brick that I had to pick apart with the provided plastic fork(very difficult). Flavor was OK. Next up was the tom yum(sp?) soup(which has shrimp in it). The flavor of the soup was good, but there were only two small over cooked shrimp. The sushi and eggplant I ordered was also good. Overall another meh experience.

My husband and I both enjoy eating here and ordering delivery from here. Our favorites are the Tuna Pizza and Williamsburg Roll.

I order delivery about once a week and it’s consistently fresh and delicious. I finally dined in recently and received 5 star service. Best sushi in rdgewood/mspeth.

Their veggie sushi is amazing. And try the tempura ice cream-to die for. I’ve never been to the restaurant as this is my go-to online ordering guilty pleasure. Recommend.

Awesome sushi. Been here several times and am always very happy. I’ve tried their California roll, spring rolls, some delicious pineapple rice dish, some other sushi dragon roll, and their pad Thai noodles. So yum! I’m surprised it’s not busy every time I come!

Since Knockdown Center has opened, and they have no liquor license, quite a few folks flocked here recently looking for alcohol. We ordered the hot sake, which was not too acidic, so that was a nice surprise. We also ordered spring rolls, which ended up being quite yummy, and a perfect snack before heading to the show. It’s in such a random location, across from a Jewish cemetery, but if you’re a local, I bet this a decent go-to place.

TERRIBLE!!! Worst experience ever! Their Padthai is PATHETIC — plain noodles with some probably MSG sauce and a few crumbled cashews. Sushi is the same story, paid $ 11 for 2 rolls that make up one so so size roll in the city where they charge you around $ 7 – 9. Never again! Wish Unilocal gives an option for –1 star, this is my true rating!

I moved to the area about 4 months ago. There aren’t many Asian restaurants around here so I was happy to find this one on Seamless. My friend and I order from here frequently, I’ve loved almost every dish I’ve ordered. The fried rice is so good, gyoza, shrimp skewers, etc… Sometimes they take a little long, but I don’t mind. I personally wasn’t crazy about the sushi but everyone else loves it. I even got my roommates into this place.

It had been a little while since I used Seamless, so they sent me a coupon code to lure me back in. It’s almost as if they knew that I was exhausted from the morning and I was perfectly susceptible to bribery in the form of staying indoors. There is a delivery minimum so I got more than one could possibly eat in one sitting. The Vegetable Pad Thai($ 8.00) came with either miso soup or a salad on the lunch special. That is a very good deal. They also gave me both soup and salad, so it was a great deal! Not sure how that happened, but whatevs. For sushi starters, I ordered a sushi trio of the Avocado Cream Cheese Jalapeño Roll, Spinach Roll & Peanuts Avocado Roll($ 13) which is also a great deal for three rolls. I couldn’t really taste the jalapenos. Normally, I’m out of commission for a few minutes with those things. I was actually a little hesitant to order this combo because of it, but it wasn’t a problem(phew). Everything was packaged nicely and arrived within the anticipated time frame. The only thing that threw me off a little was the delivery guy. He buzzed the door for my apt, I buzzed the door and said«Come on up.» He buzzed again, as if to indicate he wasn’t bringing it to my door. Fine. I’ll come down and get it. But then when I got down there he started angrily yelling at me «I get ticket. I get ticket.» Meanwhile, I can see his car and there is no ticket on it. Plus, he was standing right there the whole time so I don’t see how that is possible. I’m not sure if he was trying to tell me that he WOULD get a ticket if he came to my door, or that he had already received a ticket to try to get an extra tip(which I had already included several dollars for the tip through Seamless)… or what. Dude, you’re a delivery service. You deliver stuff. I don’t tell you where to park, and frankly, I didn’t even make you walk it to my door. I half-delivered it myself. Chill out. It was kind of hard to enjoy my food after being verbally accosted by this guy.

Just got delivery, it took about an hour which was longer than I wanted but whatever… So I got the shrimp shumai which was standard but good and I the house special roll add avocado which was very good(a little strong on the panko but that’s easy to shake off). The price was $ 22 with tip. I could give this place a 4-star but it’s fresh delivery sushi so 5-star it is.

So sitting at home and it’s raining cats and dogs outside… do I stay in or do I go out? I stay in… I don’t care if it’s Saturday night. It’s that kind of weekend. I go on Seamless and this place pops up. I’ve never seen it in my delivery area before and it had a Seamless four-stars. Let’s check it out… Food– spicy crunchy tuna roll — awesome rock shrimp avocado roll — awesome seaweed salad — little on the sweet side miso soup — way too bland Since this is for sushi, I’m ignoring the rest and giving it a two thumbs up on their sushi! It was awesome and I would order from them again.
